Fun fact: You know how I mentioned that there were three different games called "Mega Man 2" in the Mega Man series? The same also goes for games titled "Mega Man 3" and games simply titled Mega Man! Comment below if you know what titles I'm talking about!
Mega Man 3 (NES) Mega Man III (Game Boy) Mega Man 3 (DOS) Technically there's five unique games called "Mega Man" if you ignore subtitles. Mega Man (NES) Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge (Game Boy) Mega Man (DOS) Mega Man (Game Gear) Mega Man: The Power Battle (Arcade)
Sometimes I would like to see a MMX version of Power Battle/Fighters with X, Zero, Axl, Vile and Dynamo as playable characters, with a story tying in to resumption of copy chip reploids after X8.
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one traumatized by the Ruby Spears cartoon. This video was good therapy though, really cozy stuff! As someone who's not that into these games, I can't help but find myself interested in the NGCP version anyways lol
I played the games on Anniversary collection on Dolphin, and they were two great games, not too short not too long, and the apparition of the character at the end of Bass's story was unpredictable.
I never realized I wanted a Clicky Stick Joycon until you mentioned it. Also congrats on things going well with your career and making things better for you. It's always nice to see things work out for people. Your video quality has improved dramatically since I started following you so its cool to see that effort rewarded.
I never played these before I think I'd go nuts having the buttons reversed. It already throws me off that the ab and xy buttons are in a different order on the xbox series x than they are on the switch
3:03 "I guess 7 got a dedicated mode because it was the newest game" I think it's just that Capcom could easily plug in the sprites from the SNES without having to redraw them 😅but yeah I'd imagine cross-promotion also factored in. It didn't exactly help since this machine didn't seem to move at all; I was a pretty dedicated gaming nerd in the 90's and I never saw this thing in the wild or even knew it existed.
Omg I loved these weird games so much!! I'm soo happy to see someone acknowledge these games outside of the crumbs of lore that the second game has lmao. My first proper experience with the classic series was also the anniversary collection and nine year old me sucked so bad at the games so I'd find solace in playing the way easier arcade games over and over again. Of course these games also mislead me into thinking Duo was a prominent character in the other games and I was sorely disappointed to find out that wasn't the case lmao
its not really that but my only piece of official megaman merch is a sprite figure in that white and dark blue but it is flesh colored and i think its supossed to be him using ice slasher ? tho no idea why they would make him that colored there im just saying he appears like this somewhere else
11:39 quick question I live in the US but is there any way for me to buy the complete works versions of megaman 5 and 6 on the PS3 store? because I checked and there's megaman 1-4 but not 5 and 6 Edit apparently if you make a jananese PSN account then you're able to buy japanese only games even if you don't live there

Very funny unused sprite data: Heatman smoking a cigarette. There's at least two sets of animations of him lighting up. Yes, he uses a Zippo
