Awesome video! I hope you see this!!! I just got first BMW this week (E93 2009 328i), and I noticed the remote does not let me control the top/windows. I JUST ordered Veepeak OBD scanner and was planning on trying to try and code the FOB. I hope this works! Any insight on my idea? Thanks in advance for any and all help!
Yes mate! if your car has the ‘comfort access’ option you’ll be able to drop and raise the top with the key, if you haven’t you’ll only be able to raise the roof with key.

I will play around with it and keep you posted --- I got the Veepeak OBD scanner arriving today, and am told I should be able to program the mirrors to fold-in when locking/unlocking (with or without Comfort, as long as I have the button that operates the), so hopefully that gives me no issues. It's just the top/windows I worry about - because i don't think I have Comfort.

Hi mate good video . Have you ever had a problem with the roof getting stuck basically i put the roof down and everything worked fine . When i put the roof back up it stuck in open position with the roof over the car . Motor was sounded like it was working but no movement . I called break down and he gently eased the roof back up whilst i held button then the motor kicked back in and it shut but struggled locking into position without me push up on the roof frm underneath on drivers side then it locked . Havnt tried it since just wondering if u had ever heard of this before or experienced it

what is the function button that close the roof? i only know how to open it but can't close it with the key itself..
TheWil989 hi mate, you need to have comfort access, without that spec option you can’t open and close it on the key.
Mine opens remotely but not close remotely it is a UK 1
Bethhaanny You must be missing the option called: Comfort access, you need this BMW option to be able to open and close on the fob

Leonardo Shaz the black car is, you just need to keep switching it off with a code reader, or map it, bit of a pain in the arse, hence I haven't bothered

baronofsmut Well that was the plan but this was the best we could do, we did so many by takes the keys battery's were going flat and keys signals were conflicting with one another.
