Thank you for your valuable feedback. I appreciate your suggestion and will definitely work on improving the camera angles and lighting in future videos to make everything clearer and easier to follow. Your support helps me improve, so thank you again for watching
Lovely. I hope you will make a video on live testing on components. That is while the power is turned on to see if each component is supplying their expected voltages .
Thank you for your question and respect. Both analog and digital meters have their advantages. Digital meters are generally more accurate and quicker for most modern electronics work, as they provide precise readings and often come with additional features like auto-ranging. Analog meters, however, can be useful in certain scenarios where you need to observe slow changes or fluctuations in voltage. So, it depends on your specific needs, but for speed and accuracy, a digital meter is usually the better choice

Checking rectifiers with a multimeter is okay for finding shorts, leakages and opens, but it does not test them for their maximum voltages. That requires a curve tracer that can test at higher voltages. Thanks.
Yes I know but my question is if the electrolytic capacitor show zero reading, it is said faulted capacitor by some electricians. A little confusion here.@@electronicsrepairbasics_erb
I'm new to this phone technician work, I don't really understand what the IC and the name work for in a phone, I will be glad if I can get a message on this or a video please
Welcome to the world of phone repairs! In simple terms, the IC (Integrated Circuit) in a phone is like the brain that controls different functions, such as charging, display, audio, and connectivity. Each IC has a specific job, and they are labeled based on the function they control (e.g., power IC, audio IC, etc.). I’ll work on creating a video to explain this in more detail. Stay tuned, and feel free to ask any specific questions in the meantime
Wait? Im new to this and have been slowly learning about electrical components so sorry if i am incorrect and think that im not, but for the capacitor isnt the proper way to check them is to use the capacitance in the multimeter? I get the ohms mode works also but maybe the capacitor is bad but still accepts some charge but maybe its not up to its spec causing malfunction in a circuit, thats why a proper farad capacitance test is needed in that case. Just my take
Hey alex, I'm also new to this field and I'm trying my best to learn because I'm on a time limit to try and fix my friends DS Lite. I've made progress already but I've hit some road blocks and I'm trying to figure out how to read the components on the pcb's. Do you think you could help me out with this project?
Yeah mate , that's why you need an oscilloscope in my opinion. You need to check the voltage thru the capacitor if its a decoupling one , and it Has to be decently smooth . If you don't have a lot of capacitors to test, you can just take them off and test them on a " component tester " this will show the capacitance and another very important value called the esr which is the equivalent series resistance
i am sami from Ethiopia 🇪🇹
I like your teaching style ❤❤❤
keep going bro 🙏🙏🙏🙏
bro, i went through youtube, but didn't find any best channel top on you ... thanks for the best teaching...
Wow, thanks
hands down this is the best electronics components testing tutorial
Thank you
May god bless you sir we need teachers like you in thus world
Good job, but always zoom your camera closer to what you are doing and use light so that the video will be bright and clear enough thanks
Thank you for your valuable feedback. I appreciate your suggestion and will definitely work on improving the camera angles and lighting in future videos to make everything clearer and easier to follow. Your support helps me improve, so thank you again for watching
This video is very helpful.. really liked it.. please keep posting.. you're doing great
Thank you, I will
I appreciate the tutorial. Want to know more about it with your help.
Thanks for your teachings God bless you
Very concise and professionally explained.
Glad you liked it
What an amazing lesson!
Glad you think so!
God bless your abundantly for this online teaching.
I'm grateful!
You are very welcome
the best tutorial broo
Thank you very much for one more I learn from you video god bless

Noted
Yeah that's right.. I was thinking the same
You are doing well sir, thank you for this information.
So nice of you
Duguya oligunza myangapi❤❤hi ❤❤❤
Great job
Very Good Video. Thx. I have not seen caps checked that way before.
Glad to help
Thank you so much sir
All the best
thank you. you show me how many component we could check with continuity section.
Good stuff as usual
Glad you enjoyed it
Much respect
But between analog and digital meter Wich one is best and quickest

Yes l like the lessons thanks
You are welcome
Thank you brother!
My pleasure!
What about discharging the capacitor?
Great work
Thank you! Cheers!
Right sir
Thank you
Hi, from the capacitor you were showing (Time: 9.00) which side is the negative side? Is it the side with the stripe close to the pole?
Awesome 🎉
Thank you! Cheers!
Fantastic video thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Very nice sir
Keep watching
Sante!
??
Thanks ,
Welcome
Wow his voice hasn't been weirdly slowed down, great.

Can't an oscilloscope do this trick?
شكرا بزاف. معلومات قيمة ❤
I thought if electrolytic capacitor in continuity mode shows short(zero reading), it is a failed/ dead capacitor. What do you think?
yes zero reading means shorted
