dohpredator was right. There is a 1/4" square hole be hind the control module, If you carefully push in the hole the plug in for the gauges will pop out. Thanks to your video and the comments, I was able to add the gauges to my non performance pack mustang. The boost works, but not the oil gauge. If you would let me know how you got yours to work. Its to bad you didn't know about the plug. You did a great job wiring all that yourself.
Got this for Keith: tom tomtam70 I have a 3" Catless downpipe. You get the oil pressure gauge turned on in a custom tune file. Your pro tuner will be able to select an option for the pressure transducer.
Alex Mora no splicing was needed at all on my premium EB... Find the 4 pin connector cable already there, behind that hole....I used a small screwdriver to push it back and then grab the whole cable assembly from behind. What I also found out, was that the two PP vents are spread further apart and I had to do additional cutting of the two outside plastic supply ports to allow the new PP dash trim to fit nicely... Of course it goes without saying that the tabs on all the dash trim panels break easily, so you really don't want to put it on and off to often... Good luck
alex modic gotcha! One last question, was the connector loose in the hole you mentioned or it was connected to something? Thanks for the heads up on the vents! I assumed they would align as if it were the 3 vents but it makes sense they’ll be pushed out a bit more
On your first video at 20minutes and 26 seconds you will see a square hole above your index finger that is the factory connector for the gauges. If you reach in behind the plastic you can unplug it and plug it to your gauges that is a storage place for the connector because you didn't order the performance package
dohpredator mine only has a blank plastic piece there is no plug behind the plastic. I can feel the shape of a plug but nothing there? 2016 Mustang Ecoboost Premium.

Video very usefull! But i have a question that it doesn’t show: the passage from the oil sensor with 1 pin to the one with 3 pins on the engine and the wiring. I need to understang just this passage, the rest of the dash montage is clear. Thx in advance.

Like the video. I just put the gauges in my 2016 gt. Question to make the oil gauge work. On the video you showed where you were going to pull power for the sending unit is that all you did you make it work. Or was there more to it.
you did not need to buy the connector for the gauges the connector is already there from the factory. when you unplug your screen and remove it. look at the dash where it came from you will see a square hole with a connector in it reach around to the back and unplug it that is the connector for the gauges. and you should have blocked off the hole for the vent not doing so lets hot and cold air blow on your gauges and behind your dash.all I would to know is where did you get your wiring diagrams at
This is confirmed if you have a premium Mustang. I removed my 8 inch screen and behind black plastic shield was the factory 4 pin pigtail. I plugged this into the gauge and it works perfectly ( except for oil pressure reading of course ). I also have a base model Mustang which does NOT have the factory pigtail.

Made sure to solder everything good and shrink wrap it. Henry Hentzschel it is possible to have your tuner update the PCM modules with the performance pack version.
