    What about the rest of the parts in the kit?? For example the toe/knuckle bearing, etc??

      Exactly the most important part.
      He also did nothing to adjust for the 1" drop.
      No adjustable swaybar end links,no caster plates or even bolts,absolutely nothing to finish the job correctly.

    Hello, I have a 2018 mustang GT PP1 with the Ford Performance Street Handling Suspension package from factory if I'm not mistaken, is this package a worthy upgrade? What parts could I add to this package to complete a track ready suspension set up? Thank you!

    What about the rest of the kit? Ie the toe links and the new toe link to knuckle bearings.

      I'm curious about these parts, too! Do we even need them? Wonder why CJ left them off the install?

      Of course you need them,along with a host of other bits that will probably cost close to the same as this portion,to get everything back in spec so it handles as it should,mitigates bump steer and doesn't wear out your tires etc

    As much as I love your videos and products, the install videos need some work. I came here because I was stuck on removing some bolts mentioned in the Ford Performance installation manual and they weren’t even mentioned, nor was the toe bearing removal / install which was by far the hardest part for me.

    I have a 2015 Mustang GT w/ PP, will I need to install camber plates or Camber bolts to get the camber within specs? I don't want to have to spend $200 getting the wheels aligned only to have to remove the struts again and install camber plates.

    • @charleshenson4183
      @charleshenson4183 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes indeed you will along with other bits to get everything back to where it should be if you want to take maximum advantage of this kit and not mearly destroy tires.

    Do you need an alignment after this?

  • @Taino5.0
    @Taino5.0 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does the track suspension kit from Ford need caster camber plates? Or will it not have any problems with alignment?

    • @charleshenson4183
      @charleshenson4183 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course it does.
      The whole geometry is off.
      Basically everything will need to be adjusted to compensate for the lower stance.

    The video doesn't show the rear toelink installation for some reason. My understanding is that the bushings need to be removed and new pressed in with a special tool on cars without a performace pack. Can anyone confirm?

    • @charleshenson4183
      @charleshenson4183 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course it does.
      This is just a video of the easy bits being thrown in only.
      You will need to press out the current bushings and press in the bushings supplied with the kit.

    And the bracket on the rear sway bar that needs cutting, are there after market options that can be purchased that are already modified?

    How much stiffer is this setup than the Performance Package suspension?

    • @Zerogivengarage
      @Zerogivengarage 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Stiffness is about the same but it is less bouncy than the PP.

    I know these are Ford colored parts, but do these parts come in any other colors besides blue? Red maybe?

    • @Zerogivengarage
      @Zerogivengarage 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope just blue. We offer Eibach suspension and some of their parts are red.

    Do the rear toe links need to be replaced after installation of this package?

    • @charleshenson4183
      @charleshenson4183 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Alot of bits need to be in order to get everything correctly back in spec.

    Is there a 2018 version for the PP1 Mustangs with the Magnaride?

    • @cjponyparts
      @cjponyparts  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have done the GT350 spring upgrade for the Magneride already, there really is no reason to upgrade much else.

    I cannot accept performance as a word to associate with a 4 cylinder. For as much as it costs to get a 4 cylinder to have any real power, you could get a v8 and still have more power and some money in your pocket.
