This style is extremely hard to master as well as physically taxing in a 8-12 round fight. It took a perfect storm of things (shorter fighter, freak of nature athlete, a boxer who was willing to learn one of the hardest styles of boxing) like Tyson to master it. Just like well never see a fighter fight in the Philly shell as well as Mayweather, no one will ever be better at the Peek-A-Boo then Tyson.
Mike was perfect in this style. His body size and weight, his energy levels, his ability, speed and his stamina just fit to the style. Mike was a natural and with Cus molding him it was like a diamond being extracted from coal.

Well Done, Teddy. The peekaboo learning curve is steep. Many fighters will give up before they fully understand the key principles of the style. I think this is largely due to a lack of coaches who know how to teach it. When most people think of peekaboo boxing, they think of Mike Tyson, and rightfully so. Tyson displayed, for the entire world, in spectacularly brutal fashion just how effective the style can be. The problem is, while Tyson is solid proof that peekaboo boxing can be a viable style, even at the highest levels, his idolization has unintentionally led many boxers down the wrong path. Here’s why: A lot of boxers who try to incorporate the peekaboo style try to mimic Tyson. The issue is that Tyson’s style was a flavor of peekaboo that was tailored to his unique physical attributes. His exceptional speed and power allowed him to slip punches at high volume and capitalize on counter punching opportunities that the average peekaboo fighter would have difficulty with. The fundamental version of the style takes advantage of a high guard with minimal openings for opponents to attack. If you strip away the exceptional speed and power of fighters like Tyson or Patterson you would have a more modern example. One such example is Winky Wright… Strip away all of those preconceived ideas of what you think peekaboo looks like and work on the core principles and philosophy that Cus engineered. The secret is in the details. Learn to hold your gloves at the exact angle needed so punches either can’t fit through or they glide off the outside of the glove and miss. Here’s a few quotes from Cus himself that should give you an idea of just how dedicated he was to the peekaboo fundamentals: “Now, in my style, you cover up all the time. You never gamble. The right arm is always covering the liver, the left, the solar plexus, and the hands are protecting the chin.” “You gotta be protected, not part of the time, not most of the time, but all the time. You cannot gamble by using open stance because every time you gamble and lose, you get hurt. And when a fighter gets hurt, he is intimidated. He thinks he is tired and covers up.” “Always keep your chin tucked down into your chest. I don’t care if you are running roadwork or just walking around school or watching t.v. Keep that chin tucked down and your eyes looking up and out.”
Good points. I'm glad you mentioned winky Wright. Cus refined the style and had a supreme athlete in tyson. There were black boxers back in the early days using the peekaboo in their own style. If tyson make a come back will be good to see how his style has changed
I’m a boxing trainer , this video was very helpful and shows the brilliance of not only Cus d Amato but his pride student Teddy Atlas . Tyson has talent that was made miraculous by Teddy and Cus . Thank you Teddy for sharing . God bless
@@kevinmyers440 Definitely intriguing right!!!??? See and THAT would've been the beginning of the Prime Iron Mike Tyson. Just in time for the Peak Prime Holyfield. He never had a prime. He was just The GREAT YOUNG Kid Dynamite 18-19 yrs old and The GREAT YOUNG Iron Mike Tyson HWC of The World at 20-22 yrs old. People over use that "Prime" word just to make a silly point. The ABSOLUTE VERY BEST of Mike was STILL on the way if he had Rooney & Atlas there👍🏾👍🏾
@Jews Did 9-11 Maybe you should come to the conversation with some dialogue instead of pokin the bear🐻 So I'll do that then. Tyson had trouble with both Lewis and Holyfield as a youth. He also had trouble with Terrel Biggs. No Biggs isn't either of them, but difficulty with opponents when the discipline and skill are in tuned with each other is the nature of my comment. Tyson COULD lose to both Lewis & Holyfield in a potential Prime matchup, BUT, both of them COULD ALSO lose to Tyson if he Atlas & Rooney are together with him. Atlas provides the discipline and focus. Rooney provides the encouragement & emotional support. BOTH had his front & back from wicked ass Don King. I'm a fan of all 3 of them. As for Holyfield's elite competition, well that has nothing to do with indvidual matchups. Bowe, Moorer didn't want no part of Tyson. Bowe and Tyson were both from Brownsville Brooklyn as well. Friends. Just like Shannon Briggs from Brownsville. Tyson's main foes in that era would've still been Lewis & Holyfield anyway. When Mike got out, other than Rudduck and the Tua fight that didn't happen, Morrison, Mercer, Copper, Holmes, Rahman didn't want no smoke.
@Jews Did 9-11 You're reply was flawed at the beginning. He lost to Lewis only once. So here's the deal about speculation when it comes from a reasonable educated, historical mind. It's logical. Foreman talked to Ali in his comeback and Ali told George NOT to fight Mike Tyson. Tyson didn't want to fight Foreman either. Copuot right???The better Holyfield was in 1990-93. The worser Tyson was in 1996/97, aithoigh still formidable. Still wins for Holyfield. Of the 2, Lewis is more difficult for Tyson. If you knew history, the reason Frazier & Norton never fought is because they were, wait for it, "friends" and just didn't care for Ali. Copout right??? I've never oncce heard Morrison express he wanted to fight Tyson. I'll check on that. Mercer would've fought anyone, TRUTH, but I don't recall either side express anything. Copout right??? Now I'll repeat myself. The premise of my response at the beginning is based on the individual fighters themselves. Whomever else they foght or didn't fight is irrelevant. Holyfield was the toughest around, but he wasn't hard to hit either. Even the best version of him. Tyson at his best was. Best case scenario, they go 1-1 against each other on points setting up the rubber match. Althogh Lewis was able to handle him as an amateur sparring, he still admits the difficulties of fighting Mike. Same possible scenario. 3 fight rubber match. Let's not act like what I said isn't reasonable considering the positive path Mike was on with both Atlas & Rooney in his corner simply based on what actually happened. I'm not the only person who's ever done that while still respecting the other fighters.
@Jews Did 9-11 So I checked up on the Morrison vs. Tyson fight. Morrison was supposed to make $38M to fight Mike in 1996 but he suddenly had HIV. It's speculated that he even had HIV because prior to that potential fight, and after, Morrison stayed on and off of drugs and drinking. As for the Tyson vs. Mercer fight, that fight was to take place in 2001. Lennox Lewis had a judge help him prevent that fight so he and Tyson could fight instead. Tyson really wanted to fight Mercer and he was gonna get $5 M even though the bigger payday later was with Lewis later. I've been knowing about the Tua situation, but he got to fight Lewis for the title and he used to spar with Holyfield to get ready for Tyson. Bowe was friends with with Mike and he had already quit anyway. Shannon Briggs was like a lil brother to Mike. Still to this day. It's on video. Mike was afraid of Foreman. King was gonna make the fight, and Mike said, "I'm not fighting that fuckin Monster". Foreman as recent as 3 yrs ago at least said "I'm glad he was scared because I wanted no part of Mike". As I said before about Moorer. He wasn't havin it. Cooper could've fought Tyson too. It just didn't happen.

Stay on the grind my guy . I started off boxing at 11 my uncle's and almost all my older cousins were competing in gold gloves - armature local boxing - also some in early mma so it was part of growing up in E side of st.paul Mn . Got away from it in h.s with wrestling and football but picked it back up in early 00's while in the USMC. It's great to see somebody your age taking on the fighting lifestyle . too bad there's so few gyms compared to late 90's . ✌
The peekaboo style is not for everyone. Master the heavy bag I mean really master that. Also master your dead arm. How many pros only fight with one hand. If your power hand is your right hand then your left is your dead arm. Use the heavy bag and over time your left will be as good if not better than your right. Also use your jab and time it so the right hand is right behind it. SHARPEN YOUR TOOLS FIRST ! I HIT THE HEAVY BAG FOR OVER 20 YEARS FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES A DAY WHAT A WORKOUT !
I always love it when Teddy drops knowledge! I first say Teddy on Friday Night Fights on ESPN some 20 years ago. He was so smart at braking down the boxers styles and game plans. I learned so much just listening to him breaking-down what was going on in the ring. Completely respect to this man. I’ve still been watching ya all these years, and thanks for teaching me about boxing and about life.
With peekaboo, if you aggressively move in to striking distance, the opponent with throw a left of a right. If you dip left, right or under as you move in the opponents territory, 9 times out of 10 the punch will miss you, then you come up on the inside with punches. Then everytime you punch move your head, so the counter also misses. You can then stay in the pocket. I always found peekaboo was about drawing fire from an opponent on your terms, rather than being reactive, thus enabling a fighter to stay agressive
Yeah man spot on. Ive trained for the past 15 years and fought (amateur) and ive studied boxing my whole life. Il say that the best style in boxing is peekaboo. I used to think it was the philly shell/ detroit style because ive always been a huge fan of james toney, but after a long time i came to the conclusion that it is the peekaboo style. Purely because it is the most offensive and defensive style of fighting. Slipping, bobbing n weaving and shifting to create angles for the objective of throwing combination as ferousiously as possible is the Cus style. Moving after you hit is also imperative.. if u watch old tapes of tyson training u will hear Cus shouting “move you head” and “punch with both hands”. That was his main advice/criticisms to Mike. And that just shows the importance of what u are saying about moving your head by slipping or bobbing to get into shooting range hopefully evading the shot and countering instantly. Man i could go on for ages talking about this so i will stop here haha. I just think Cus was extremely special and we should still try to keep his style alive. By training or just transferring knowledge like this.. anyway Peace to you 👊🏾
We REALLY need to make a Patreon for teddy's health. Have to preserve him since he's probably one of the last true sages of boxing wisdom/knowledge/craftsmanship/passion left. And he still can talk intelligibly where we can understand everything he's saying!

Joey Hadley has a lot of good videos about it and it’s history. He was one of Cus fighters but he got injured. Now he still teaches the peekaboo style.
Teddy never gets his credit for the part he played on training a young mike Tyson. You always hear about Cus and Rooney. But Teddy was there at that critical age when Tyson really was a student. I hope mike hires him as his trainer if he does comeback for a few exhibition bouts
If anyone's interested, Mike Tyson was cornered by Rafael Cordeiro for his exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr. Great matchup I would say. Cordeiro trained a bunch of demons from Brazil and is well suited to helping savage men fight.
This man is a genius, he is mega interesting and you fully understand his instruction first time. Do you do more boxing tutorials? I could literally listen to you teach all day. Also I absolutely appreciated everything you taught us here. Thank you very much Mr Atlas
When and if Mike Tyson ever makes a comeback, whether exhibition charity bout or bare knuckle match, it would be so awesome to see Teddy in his corner. Teddy would know the absolute best possible way to get the desired outcome for him. Just a thought.
Hello, everyone. I've never boxed, so great respect to those that have. I'm only a spectator. I'm so glad those four gentlemen came together when they did. Cus 'D' Mato, Teddy Atlas, Kevin Rooney, and of course, Mike Tyson. What a team! What an exciting fighter they produced. For me, no other heavyweight fighter has moved and shadow boxed like Mike Tyson, I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw him in 1986. No one ever wanted to dominate the World and did, like Mike Tyson did. I've never seen before or since, the excitement, the intrigue, the apprehension of when Mike Tyson climbed into the ring in the early part of his career. He won many of his fights by the fitness and condition he got himself into and his ring walk, and from staring into his opponents eyes, flexing his neck muscles, flicking his head from side to side. Just unbelievable. Mike was the perfect specimen, exactly what you'd expect the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world to look like. Mike lived that position in time, and cared and trained so hard to be that person. When Mike was fighting, with the technology you had back in those days, you couldn't look away for one second, or you'd miss something. Mike was such an exciting fighter to watch. I so miss those times now. For whatever reason, its not same now. At one time, Mike was fighting every month. As Mike grew older, as we all do, his fitness and athleticism lessened from that youngest heavyweight world champion of all time. Obviousy a fan, I don't think he should be judged on his fights with Lennox and Evander. Great respect to those gentlemen, they'd never in a million years have coped with a twenty year old Mike Tyson back in the day. It was upsetting to see the end of Mike's career as he was so much better than that. With huge respect to many other heavyweight fighters at that time, for me, there's never been before or since, a Mike Tyson. That's what Mike set out to do and that for me is absolutely what he acomplished. Absolutely no doubt, no question whatsoever. This is just my own humble opinion. A great, great time to see and live through.
How i wish I had a boxing trainer like you when I was a young man. I have read your book and loved it. Your the best trainer I have ever seen and your philosophy about boxing is the best. You really care and look after your boxers amateur or pro. Best wishes Steve from England

Left out one of the key ingredients to the peek-aboo that out of all the fighters that used it before Mike, didn't even do....and it's probably because Mike was one of a kind and this style was perfect for HIM. This component is the Cus' D'amato "shift" or the footwork that mike used that enabled him to create angles so that he could attack from wherever he was positioned; he'd actually switch back and forth between orthodox and southpaw-- which really left no weakness/disadvantages since he had power in both hands. Cus was a smart man who created a unique style and found the perfect boxer to pull it off the most proficiently, wish I could have trained under him--genius trainer and philosopher!
I love how when you talk about boxing it brings out the passion and excitement in you. I wish everyone would find something there that passionate about.
Honourable mention needed for Smokin' Joe, closed guard, weaved inside, used the momentum from slipping to come up on the other side wirh a monumental left.

I believe the same. Tyson was the perfect machine for this style. Would've been the perfect killing machine with rooney atlas and cus controlling his mind
Both Teddy and Rooney were brilliant trainers for Tyson, but Teddy would have been a better trainer for Tyson in regards to longevity/longer time because of his psychology. He would have connected well with Tyson when he went to the dark places in life and made him come back again...
Their only hope is to wrestle him. The average man maybe has a fight or a 2 or none at all growing up. This is all he has studied his whole life. Even people twice his size he would knock the faak out
The best thing about the peekaboo was how you were able to combine the offense and defense, the way you could make the opponent miss in order to set up the big punches. the way Tyson and Patterson would weave those hooks, jab to the head to get his opponent to become defensive, and then the D’mato shift to open a hook to the head. It was all about manipulating your opponent, making them miss to them open up a shot, the sheer aggressiveness and relentlessness. People often mistake it as just a “brawling” style, without mentioning the fact that a lot of strategic thinking goes into fighting with this style.
Teddy, you the man! Your love and excitement for the sport, your utmost respect and admiration for Cus, a genius trainer of champions and teaching the simplicity and effectiveness of the "peek-a- boo" style, gave energy in your explanation, presentation and brought a smile to my face! Unfortunately great Cus D'Amato died. And now when Mike is in the ring, Teddy, you can be a fuel for Mike. Your words and inspiration and guide can lead to success. Please be an inspiration and be a power for Mike. I wish you to be together again. You've been a great trainer for Mike after Cus, please reunite. Then you can see Mike boxing in 90.
Those 2 may have settled their differences, but theyre NOT reuniting. Teddy still resents Mike, you can tell, probably because Cus picked Mike over Teddy.
@@shockwave68 Yeah maybe, but Teddy also should have to understand that Cus chose Tyson because his performance was sharp and good enough. If Teddy were so good I believe Cus would choose him.
Richard Jones I respect your opinion but by the time Tyson fought Buster, he was already lost into partying and fucking bitches and forgot completely about training properly. It’s sad cuz having both fight at their primes would have been amazing, and eventhough Holyfield was a highly skilled boxer, he did lack the KO power that Tyson had so I’d have put the house on Mike haha. Anyway thanks for the nice piece of information you just gave out there about Holyfield I didn’t know.
Richard Jones it’s crazy also to think that fight between Tyson and Buster, Tyson clearly won that when knocking him down however the fucking ref started the count 2 seconds later lol. Even a party animal Tyson had that power not many have.
Teddy, there is no boxing/mma coaches tht can break things down (in enough debt) in a film sesh, And not much emphasize on the mental aspect or MENTION it as MUCH as you do. Maybe there is but how u EXPLAIN things can be the reason why I understand you more than some. I love your style of coaching, it actually motivates me more in life and in a sparring session.
Here’s why:
A lot of boxers who try to incorporate the peekaboo style try to mimic Tyson.
One such example is Winky Wright…
Strip away all of those preconceived ideas of what you think peekaboo looks like and work on the core principles and philosophy that Cus engineered. The secret is in the details. Learn to hold your gloves at the exact angle needed so punches either can’t fit through or they glide off the outside of the glove and miss.
Here’s a few quotes from Cus himself that should give you an idea of just how dedicated he was to the peekaboo fundamentals:
“Now, in my style, you cover up all the time. You never gamble. The right arm is always covering the liver, the left, the solar plexus, and the hands are protecting the chin.”
“You gotta be protected, not part of the time, not most of the time, but all the time. You cannot gamble by using open stance because every time you gamble and lose, you get hurt. And when a fighter gets hurt, he is intimidated. He thinks he is tired and covers up.”
“Always keep your chin tucked down into your chest. I don’t care if you are running roadwork or just walking around school or watching t.v. Keep that chin tucked down and your eyes looking up and out.”
Well said
Very good analysis ...
Thank you for that, very interesting.
fuckin ell mate, write a book, please.
Good points. I'm glad you mentioned winky Wright. Cus refined the style and had a supreme athlete in tyson. There were black boxers back in the early days using the peekaboo in their own style. If tyson make a come back will be good to see how his style has changed
That energy makes me wish i had a coach like you when i was younger
I’m a boxing trainer , this video was very helpful and shows the brilliance of not only Cus d Amato but his pride student Teddy Atlas . Tyson has talent that was made miraculous by Teddy and Cus . Thank you Teddy for sharing . God bless
This man is a national treasure! Teddy, we love you!
Finally teddy! Cus was the master of studying boxing; Mike perfected his style and without a doubt he’s the GOAT.
Could you imagine if cus had teddy and rooney training while he had Mike at 25??????? Omfggggggg
Gotta love how Teddy mixes in the screaming with his lesson. Really puts a guy in the zone
This legit gave me goose bumps, the best and most emotional explanation of this style of boxing. It made me feel like I didn’t want to disappoint him idk crazy teddy needs to do more of these
This is incredible, it’s almost like he channeled the great Cus D’amato in this interview. The passion is admirable. The meaning of life right here. Pay attention kids.
Bang! A simple word but I love it when I hear Teddy say it.
Teddy you look good out there. I'm used to seeing you behind a micro phone so did not expect the speed and agility you showed. I true legend 👍
On FNF during the keys to victory, he and the other Mexican guy, i forget his name, but was always cool to watch, Teddy would show that he could still light'em up. Love Teddy...
Hey Teddy, I’m a 17 year old 5’5 boxer that uses peeka boo style a lot in sparring and I always try to search for videos how to do it correctly, however with your video I understand it more and got the fire burning again :)) I’m looking forward for more peekaboo videos
Hey bro check out ‘tight defence cuz D’Amato’ it’s a Chanel that break down all aspect of the peekaboo style good luck!
Remember to slip and jab, jab and slip:)
Joey Hadley, a student of cus’s, released his own tutorial on the legendary style.
A style, a defense, an offense that is not easy to perfect or master it
With peekaboo, if you aggressively move in to striking distance, the opponent with throw a left of a right.
This was awesome. Teddy still has that muscle memory slipping and moving like that, good stuff.
We need more people like teddy in the boxing world
Teddy is THE MAN. A straight shooter who is all class. His book is one the best I've ever read. This guy has more love and passion for boxing than anyone on the planet. Even his MMA analysis is spot on. He doesn't insult your intelligence, and is always willing to share his wisdom and knowledge. Thanks Teddy.
Thanks for tuning in. Please subscribe, share, like, and let us know what you think below!
Big thank you to Sam Rivera of th-cam.com/users/SamuelRiveraFilms for producing.
This is amazing. Teddy is the greatest for teaching this.
PLEASE train a heavyweight so I can break him in front of u... can u train somebody or just suck of the greatness of others ... if u got 1 ill come spar next week @seetheanimal on tha gram .. u r NOT PEEK A BOO bruh ..
love it, keep them coming......tell Teddy I covered the "knock on the front door, go in the side" but called it something diferently, just in case he hasn't seen it yet ;)
Train Mike again Teddy!!
PURE GOLD SIR!!
AMAZIN!!! I hope there is a part 2. Teddy does a really good job of telling the technique like its a story.
Joey Hadley has a lot of good videos about it and it’s history. He was one of Cus fighters but he got injured. Now he still teaches the peekaboo style.
I’m out of breath a little bit” 🤣😀😂
Let's hope humanity is lucky enough to have this guy around for a long time. A great teacher is one who gets excited about what he's teaching.
Teddy never gets his credit for the part he played on training a young mike Tyson. You always hear about Cus and Rooney. But Teddy was there at that critical age when Tyson really was a student. I hope mike hires him as his trainer if he does comeback for a few exhibition bouts
That's why he was salty and bitter for most of his life 😔
Teddy was about to shoot Mike tyson before cus interviened is
@@michaelmurdock7331 yea lol teddy had anger issues and cus picked mike over him
If anyone's interested, Mike Tyson was cornered by Rafael Cordeiro for his exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr.
Thank you very much Mr Atlas
damn Mr. Atlas is moving nicely! he can throw for sure
His Back Hurts for Over 3 weeks now... I think... LOL
@@jamesdane8103 lol! are u sure it wasn't 3 1/2 weeks? Lol!

I love Teddy man, tells it like it is and he's got a gold mine in that brain of his.
Love teddy as I’ve got older and realise he is a legend who carry’s a legends legacy on to another generation
Teddy, you were always on point. Thanks for doing your part in keeping boxing alive. Good man.
When he yelled "EMOTIONAL" - I swear I could hear Cus's voice
When and if Mike Tyson ever makes a comeback, whether exhibition charity bout or bare knuckle match, it would be so awesome to see Teddy in his corner. Teddy would know the absolute best possible way to get the desired outcome for him. Just a thought.
They made an excellent pairing. They should just iron out old differences and bring back that dream team
@@seetsamolapo5600 Absolutely.
Don’t forget Rooney
@@robocop3961 Fair point. 👌

Excellent Teddy demo of martial art that is Peekaboo Style
How i wish I had a boxing trainer like you when I was a young man. I have read your book and loved it. Your the best trainer I have ever seen and your philosophy about boxing is the best. You really care and look after your boxers amateur or pro. Best wishes Steve from England
Me too. Now I'm called a boomer. LOL !
If I was a boxer this would certainly be my style
Jose Torres and Floyd Patterson and Vinny Pazienza all champions who used the style successfully. Great stuff
Nicky Santoro How old are you? If you dont mind me asking
nxthgbutGEMZ Btw Spike is an amazing character to have for your profile pic
Nicky Santoro I’m too old for it not only that I’m not in the shape for it always struggled with my weight but I have got a bit of muscle because I am a gym rat
Omar 123 incredible anime and a relatable one too
Great content Teddy. Getting better and better. We are lucky to have a mind like yours putting this stuff out there and long may it continue. Congrats on your success.
Great video. Thank you.
I am not a boxer but this is great advice for life in general.
Man, you can hear his pure love for the sport in his voice! Amazing Video!
This is a great video. I like the other video's, but this one stands out to me...seeing the trainer physically showing the mechanics.
Agree!
I'm pretty sure Teddy could wip someone's ass if he wanted to 😂, he looks great moving, and wow does he know his stuff ! Amazing how he just broke this down ,and also demonstrated it , and look good doing it, it's guy like this that make me love this sport.
Mmm yeah.. Off course dude
@Benjamin Brant he aint wrong tho
The 3 thumbs down are the 3 punks Teddy about slapped when Tyson knocked that grown man out at 14 and nobody believed he was that age.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of hearing Teddy Atlas talk about boxing, this man is a treasure 💪🏻
Love your enthusiasm and communication style Teddy. Very entertaining and I learned a lot at the same time. Thanks. 🏴
Teddy you used to train Povetkin. Talk us through his KO of Whyte, thanks.
He has a video on it. Just look for it on this channel.
Totally appreciate this vid, going to try this out watch again at the gym
Thank you very much Mr. Teddy Atlas. As a boxer, I continue to greatly learn from your instruction on this video in respect to the peekaboo style.

Appreciated 1000% Ted nice work I learned a ton thanks a million
Boom!
BANG

Teddy just proved in this vídeo that under his guidance Tyson would have won every fight in his career.
I believe the same. Tyson was the perfect machine for this style. Would've been the perfect killing machine with rooney atlas and cus controlling his mind
@Darius Beaumont you're missing the point
@Darius Beaumont they had him when he was young and when they were gone started his dissent.. Anyone with a bargain knows that
no
Both Teddy and Rooney were brilliant trainers for Tyson, but Teddy would have been a better trainer for Tyson in regards to longevity/longer time because of his psychology. He would have connected well with Tyson when he went to the dark places in life and made him come back again...
Excellent Tony thanks..
Teddy is a boxing Encyclopedia, you couldn't find a better trainer to learn from or knows every aspect of the fight game. the Yoda of Boxing
I’ve been a Teddy Atlas fan since Friday night fights. Even if the fight was a dud (and he’d let you know it) Teddy’s analysis was always interesting.
Your still the best Teddy. Mike would have never lost with you in his corner. But we all make mistakes. Looking good Teddy.
This guy would drop most average guys half his age.
all guys half his age unless they are decent pro level
Their only hope is to wrestle him. The average man maybe has a fight or a 2 or none at all growing up. This is all he has studied his whole life. Even people twice his size he would knock the faak out
take this warning. He is old, but look at his shoulders. Just walk away.
Yo I was thinking the same shit 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It would be hilarious to see Teddy handle someone. He'd probably provide analysis of his display for any bystanders afterwards.
Teddy wasn't just a boxing coach he was an boxing artist a master of the craft who instilled his great knowledge into so many fighters
I’m new to boxing and my uncle and his son are boxers. They recommended teddy and holy shit this is gold
Teddy this was great. We'd all love demonstrative breakdowns like this of recent fights as well
I Love Teddy Atlas LOVE HIM Shame Tyson couldn't have stayed with him .
I don't care how old teddy is... He can still move... Fast too!!!
Im a casual boxing fan, but could listen to Mr Atlas talk about boxing all day. His passion still shows when he talks about the sport.
When Teddy said “early 1900s” ...i felt that
Hell yeah, I'm 140 myself. These youngsters don't know shit!
Richard Jones ur words are worth much more just by the fact that u are a Holyfield guy. Have a nice day sir.
This guy was on Bobs Burgers ... he does the voice of “Teddy” on the show.. what a coincidence his name is teddy too
I hope you know who Teddy atlas is now.
If I were a fighter, he would be my dream trainer.
I wish I was born bacc then bcause it seems like the morals were more out there and when you speak, I see visions in my head when you explained the peek a boo which also lead to me thinking about life in a way. 💯
