I want to point out to people that Metro Atlanta specifically has worst traffic than DFW mainly due to the highway road network or lack thereof, not because is larger. Metro Dallas(DFW) is larger. It just has a much better road network. A lot of people don’t know this, so I figured I would mention it. I lived in Atlanta for 11 years and been in DFW for 12. Originally from NC.
@@TommyCinanzi Interested to hear @aggie4life77 response. My personal take: Dallas has ALOT of things to do and really great spots to meet people out and about! Lots of young professionals and transplants trend near Uptown Dallas because it has the most things to do - restaurants, bars, nightlife, walking the katy trail, fitness studios, etc..).
Are there any bars or restaurants in the area that plays live music? Not necessarily talking about concerts but just intimate places where I wanna stop by after a long day of work just to grab a beer and listen to someone perform live music like rock or R&B, something similar to what you would see in downtown Nashville?
Ohh very exciting! University Park is a beautiful little area of Dallas - it’s actually it’s own city within Dallas so has its own police department that monitors the area! Send me an email, would love to talk more about it with you.
It’s kinda like L.A.’s Hancock Park, San Marino/Arcadia, Calabasas, Palos Verdes vibe. Lots of Land Rovers, Porsches, Suburbans/Escalades. Where you know how it goes. But is it safe? Hmmm. I think so.
There is a huge difference between Dallas proper and Dfw, they shouldn't be spoken of as if they're the same region, particularly because they're are an hour apart from one another and the people are very different between the two. Anyway Dallas sucks ass, don't move there. Was there for 6 years and everyone I knkw after the pandemic was like peace, I'm out of this dump ✌🏽
You’re right about that - Dallas and each Dallas suburb is very unique and each has its own Pros and Cons. DFW in general has similarities across suburbs

@aggie4life77 Thanks so much for the perspective!! You are so right - ATL traffic is a nightmare! What part of NC are you from?!
How do you like it compared to Atlanta? Nightlife? Networking events? Things to do in general ?
