I have lost 50 lbs before surgery but after a month of surgery i can feel my pants tighter from the midsection. I am still doing IF, acv only 1-2 day small meals in my 8 hrs and in caloric deficit going gym atleast 3 days a week but its not changing. Not able figure what to change at this. I have also stated to take Lipase ( fat digesting enzymes) as due to lack of gall bladder it is affecting digestion. Please suggest.

Muscle is not soft and jiggly like fat is, so I would think ideally you’d still want a little bit of fat back there. Genetics also play a role. I think we should all try our best to improve but also try our best to appreciate what we have naturally. Don’t beat yourself up.
True, but he's speaking about wanting to change your body with Weight lifting. Not beating urself up is good but it's not always that easy. However him explaining it so others can keep pushing their workouts helps get them to changing their body with what they have in mind to achieve.

I was in 15% body fat. I went on a bulk around March, so already hating my stomach. I was 115 lbs and now 126 lbs. Gained 10 lbs but looks like 20, because I eat almond butter and other high calorie foods. 150 g protein a day, just started creatine. Fingers crossed - my glutes are prone to growth anyways, but they also shrink (I measured last year after I took 6 mo break from glutes bs I switched my gym). So... It has to be consistent. I squat a lot, 1 hr of squats, and that's my "cardio"

I'm at intermediate-advanced level and trying to lose belly fat, I noticed that my muscles aren't really growing, I'm definitely getting stronger and slimmer. I realized that in order for my muscle to grow I need to eat more calories + high protein. So, for now I will be sticking to losing body fat (calorie deficit) for the remainder of the year and hopefully starting 2025, I will be able to do a calorie surplus diet to be able to grow glutes! :)

The 1st year I was very inconsistent and was eating a lot of fast food, I focused on growing my butt, so I was eating at a calorie surplus. Anyways 2023 I finally got the hang of it in and noticed how much body fat I have lost all over the place, since now I'm doing cardio at least 3x a week + lifting weights & eating at a calorie deficit. Sadly, with this my butt has gotten smaller LOL but so has my back, waist, arms, face & belly!! This is the skinniest I've been since I had my daughter 8 yrs ago. I still have some stubborn fat in my back & belly area, I'm hoping to get rid of it hopefully by the end of the year. If you want to grow your glutes you definitely have to be in a calorie surplus so that you are consuming more calories than you are burning because that's what makes your muscles grow. Make sure you are eating a good amount of carbs & protein. Get at least 7-8 hrs of sleep because this is when your muscles actually grow. For legs I would typically focus on 4-5 Exercises 2 compound, 2 isolated. Example for compound: Squats + Hip thrusts 4 sets each. Isolated: cable kickback & Bulgarian Split squats 3 sets each with lower weight & higher rep and for the 5th exercise you can do hip abduction to work the side muscles of the butt. Focus on progression overload as well and slow and control! Working out can be complex but once you really understand it becomes way easier. Most importantly make sure you enjoy/love it. The results will come sooner or later :) I hope this helps!!

From May 2024 to now, I increased my hip measurement from 44”to 46” eating & weight training but my belly got bigger. I thought I was going to cut but i want to grow rounder glutes and shrink belly

Two days a week i eat in surplus to grow gluttes and legs and i am noticing gains. I had too much skinny fat so I started eating in A surplus. Most days I eat 1600 calories. I notice my belly going down. I am actually hiking a hill im the evening hours or morning hours now to get muscle.
From May until now, I grew my 42” glutes to 46” gained 3lbs of lean muscle mass but I also gained 2.8% body fat. I don’t see much of a difference in the mirror but I feel different. It seems like the fat went to my belly, boobs, under arms (bat wing part) and my thighs. So I guess I should start cutting, I just don’t want to lose my glute gains.

Ohh thanks, this knowledge is a gift for a veteran me, i thought i should lose my belly fat first then grow my glute, so mine is kind of in reverse. So now, my glute become kind of peachy yet small but i still have a belly. My belly have become a menace ever since birth because i been in 114 pounds, the most i can do on a.very fast strict diet, but still had a belly. Need to drop it because i got so moody and scold my parents, that it hurt me. Can you suggest me how much pounds should i do bulking? Or is it based on how i prefer my glute size is? I hate how i look now, thats why im in calorie deficit. Will it still be effective if i do in reverse? I think i bulk unconciously until 138-140 pound/5 feet 2, now im in 147 on a 200 calorie deficit. You earn a subscriber ❤

You could be gaining muscle!! Pay attention to pictures rather than the scale ❤ it's tough I know I've been training for 3 years now and the scale has been a battle but I grew so much in the glute department. It's so worth it! ❤
I’m a bit confused because I seem to sit in between two categories: higher body fat and also intermediate lifter. I have been muscle training for 3 years but I also weight 155lbs for 5”3 of height. I want to lose 30lbs of fat which fits the higher body fat category, however having lifted for 3 years the bulk and cut method also applies…
I’m a beginner and I’ve never counted my maintenance calories cuz I’m never consistent with what and how much I usually eat, so how would I know my daily intake and how should I count how many calories to cut off if I want to cut 200 calories to lose around 15 pounds
I use myfitness pal to track food and you wil learn wich foods are high in protein. I eat 1600 cal. And around 140 to 200 grams of protein to grow and to loose fat. And my meals are :fish, meat, butter, cottage cheese, protein shake, eggs , cheese , some bread and watermelon! Im always full and satisfied! You can find calorie calculators online to get roughly what you need compared to your activity level. I used my fitbit up until recently to track , but i lost my charger, so i just aim for really high protein in all meals every day
