Lifting and re-laying a 30kg paving slab

Needed to take the lid off a soakage well recently and had to find a way to pick up and re-lay a large and heavy paving slab.

i use nylon string drop the slab in set it pull the string out simple trouble is I'm not getting any younger

That's a good idea and avoids faffing around with a masonry anchor - wish I'd thought of it.
