"PPE" certainly has a different meaning since 2020 but still very valid! Smashing video Jon, thanks for the advice 🙂

I can't lift a slab like that, not strong enough, I am looking for some kinda tool which can attach hits self to each corner and lift it up with the help of some kinda of jack. Like you lift up a car when replaxin the wheel.
So when I lay it back down again, I can just roll the whole slab back over the place its to go nd lower it into place once the sand is smoothed out. Still looking tho

Try something called Slabsetters but you would need another person on other side so probably a moot answer.

Now do that with 3x2 slabs that are about 2inches thick and right up against a wall...

Hi, well I have been working out quite a bit since that video but those slabs are extremely heavy so please be careful and don’t hurt yourself.

@@handymanjon I actually found a method of using a crowbar to lift one edge, then put a strap round the top of the slab, then using a dog lead round the strap I could stand up so not to strain my back and use my body weight to lean away from the slab to lift it up then walk it out of the way and use the same technique to lower them.. Work smarter not harder... :)

Thanks for these posts. Do you need to chisel out the mortar between the slabs first?

No, as long as you can lever it up, you can clean this off later, see my other video. Thanks Jon
