Great set of videos! Keep up the great work! Do you think it’s necessary to have a slab with 200x100x80mm setts? How thick would you recommend the concrete slab needs to be?
Hi Alan, I think if you have random size a 2x1 is fine and to be honest the concrete is only good as the sub base but I would for a 100mm depth with either fiber or steal in it, whats your thoughts?
@@GreentopLandscapes I agree that a reinforced slab of 100mm is plenty. I always use 200mm of Type1 for the sub base. Not sure if setts 200x100x80 really need a concrete slab as well though
I have yes and you get get the odd one that breaks and pops but you aint gonna stop it especially if you have a heavy car which gets parked on the same slabs everytime

Have you done many slabbed driveways? If so have they held up without any slabs splitting?
