@strazze93 my dad was a semi-pro installer. we used to all compete in car audio competiytions. this way gets more points for clean installs, and it keeps everything more protected too :)
I hope you left slack to reroute those wires when you make your battery box there lol. And for the usb thing, they make 12 to 5 volt power convertors for a few bucks, just wire one in.
Question, I installed a aftermarket system in my 93 4runner and after wiring everything together, my rear speakers don't play. Did you run into the same issue?
i need it for my shop stereo :) i used it as that before, but when i got sick of the stock radio, i swapped it in. now that i have a shop again, i needs me a stereo again :)
i have one of those cig lighter usb adapters! im totally buying another one and gutting it haha! they are 1.50 at the local dollar store haha! thanks for that!

That was a Friggin good video. Now I can install this friggin stereo in my Toyota truck. cool thanks man
Usually you just stick in shims on each side of the head unit to pop it out. Way easier than removing the whole friggin dash.
Good job for taking the time to sauder the wires! I always use butt connectors for stuff like that but saudering is definitely the most proper way.
