Thank you for adding the metric weights on the top right. Such a small detail that many people neglect (vice versa also). Otherwise I wouldn't have had any real sense of what the weight is (as there are many different types and densities of workout weights).

Anker makes some pretty good accessories. I had two of their extended batteries for my old S3 and one of their 5A charging bricks. I've been really impressed.

@aydowon actually the amount of people and countries using pounds is much less compared to the amount of people that use kg. So I ask you - why can't you guys use kilograms like the rest of the world?
The main weight bar is approximately 45 pounds by itself. So if you add that to the additional weights provided by the plates, that equates the tension strength of the iPhone cable to be approx. 70lbs and then the anker cable to be about 125lbs.

althought i didn’t get the dura, i got the regular powerline ii and it works great so far. it seems pretty study and is easy to clean!! customer support was also really nice when i requested a replacement and shipped really quick, although turns out in the end my cable was just wet... dried and works again.

I own two 10' Cables and two 3' Cables and couldn't be happier with them. My son beats the piss out of cables on his iPad and was going through six or more cables a year. That stopped once I purchased one of these Anker cables. Although they are not cheap, they are not cheap!

I'd like to see this done with Huawei cables. Had my 2 cables for 3 years and while they are discoloured and one has a cut in its outer isolation, it is still going strong without issues.

Tbh most of my cables brake when I lay down and have it on my chest, so a cable that has a 90 degree angle would be best.
I've been using magnetically attracting cable conversions for a couple years, they are described as Gen-X designs. These save my device connectors from daily insertion cycles, make a quick, reliable mating, and provide a "universal" cable connector interface to each device. They release easily - a characteristic that could be good or bad depending upon your application and wishes. I do clean them every few months. Also, I haven't had a failure of the device adapter or the cables on ten devices; probably 1,800 insertions total. I know this isn't a rigorous test, just daily use, but I'm happy with the product.

The braided shield is what usually breaks, and if that happens the negative connection is lost. This happens mostly due metal fatigue. I would design them with a spare negative wire so when the shield breaks the connection will not loose

Can you please try the Powerline+ by Anker? The kevlar one. I've been using it for over one year now and it still works! But it was quite expensive($16 for 1m I think). Also, before buying that cable, I broke cheap ones (like the stock ones that comes with phones) like ever 2 weeks. The Anker one is still going strong!
