Yes! It is so great when you decide to make it last minute and don’t have time to cook the rice hours before! Thank you so much as always Larry! Griddle on brother!!!😁❤️🤙
Here’s a try... add green grapes. Cut them in half an add them at the very end just to warm them. It will surprise you, it did me. Great presentation, thanks!
There is just something about Fried Rice isn't there? You are right too, it gets better the more you make it. I haven't done it in awhile now, sounds really good. Jasmine is the best! We buy the giant bags at Costco, and probably eat too much of it, lol! Nice cook, hope you're having a great weekend! Griddle On!
DUDE!!!! My daughter has been asking for fried rice for about a month now so this couldn't have been a more well timed video. That was a TOTAL HIT with the family and something everybody said will DEFINITELY go on the normal family menu. Thanks to my favorite Griddle Guys!!! Keep up the great work
Wahoo!! That is so awesome fam!! We love this one and we’re so happy it was a hit with your family! I tell you, griddle cooking makes you the best chef in town!😂😂. Much love brother, GRIDDLE ON!🔥🔥
Wanted to mention Scrub Daddy to you guys for clean up. I saw the other video and I am one that believes the green scrubbies don’t belong on ‘non stick’ or ceramic. Scrub Daddy will scour without scratching the surface. Nice cook today! I’ll try it without shrimp due to an allergy in the fam.
Thank you! Pit Boss even recommends the green scrubby.😂. That said, we really like using a scrub daddy, and we may have another we’ll recommend (something that was sent to us we’re gonna try out!).🔥🔥🤙🤙
@@waltwins that’s crazy the recommend it! I bought the pitboss scrubbie on the handle to try. Haven’t had to ‘scrub’ yet for my limited winter cooks. Just water/paper towels has been enough.
Another awesome video. Y’all made my family’s day. They wanted fried rice for dinner (which I learned to cook from two awesome guys) but I had not made any rice yesterday, than BAM awesome solution! Thanks guys and keep up the great videos!! Griddle on!!
This was perfect timing! I bought some of the jasmine ready rice a few weeks ago, with hopes someone would post a video. I also have chicken thighs that I need to either use or freeze. I know what we are eating tomorrow! Thank you!
Wahoo!! We love it fam!! If you have rice that needs to be cooked, we recommend doing it the night before (or a few hours before) and put it on a cookie sheet in the fridge - this helps dry it out for frying! Much love brother, GRIDDLE ON!🔥🔥
@@waltwins I tried to put my spin on things and marinade the chicken thighs with teriyaki.. and that was a lesson learned. The grill was gross afterward and it gave the rice a "not so authentic flavor". Definitely giving this recipe another shot! But everything was still good and we didn't have any left overs.
Love using that ready rice, normally when I decide to do fried rice, it’s kind of a last minute decision so no rice was made ahead of time for the cook.
I just cooked a huge amount of chicken fried rice and hibachi this weekend and it’s always a hit. I’m going to try that ready rice next time to see how it does. Awesome cook as always!!
It definitely saves you in a last minute pinch when you decide to make it the same day! Cooking is so much fun, isn’t it Jake? Always good to see you brother! Griddle on!!!😁❤️🤙
Yes! We love lo mein! Soo good! I believe we will be doing a lo mein cook coming up soon! Thank you so much for watching Joel! Griddle on brother!!😁❤️🤙
Brother Brett! Another winning entree for the #Waltwins food truck- Oriental style. These delicious veggie rice bowls with your choice of protein(s) will tempt the palate and warm the soul. Well done and griddle on!
Excellent question Fam! We love all of griddle cooking! That said, the ceramic top is so convenient and we absolutely love it! We just picked up a steel unit from Pit Boss which will give us a feel similar to the Blackstone, so we can really compare to see which we prefer!
@@waltwins look forward.to hearing your experience and I would expect that the ceramic will prevail. At least I think it will as I have been shifting my thoughts to ease and simplicity. Enjoyed the BGE but switched to the Traeger for this reason, gave up a little in flavor but gained many times over in simplicity. Thanks for taking the time to time to reply and posting for everyone.
I like to start with chopped up bacon, after the bacon has rendered most of its fat, leave a tablespoons of the bacon grease then add the rice . I also like adding green onions 😊 Keep on delivering good videos.
I prefer Soy paste instead of soy sauce. It tastes the same, but has a syrup type consistency and really sticks to the rice without adding “liquid”. Looks great
Greetings! Can you tell me, about using the spatulas on the raw chicken then using them on the cooked veggies and rice? I'm not saying it's wrong, just that I have been brainwashed by the safety folks about raw chicken. One more thing, I am up to speed with using silicone spatulas on the Pit Boss Ultimate Griddle but can you set a metal pot on the surface to warm a liquid?? Thanks
Hey fam, thank you for watching! No worries - over all the griddle consistently cooks over 300 degrees. With the hot oils and food, we are pushing closer to 400 degrees. The chefs in the Asian restaurants use the same spatulas the entire time, the heat is substantially higher than the FDA recommended for safety. For sure we’ve used metal pots and pans often! These are really durable, we just be careful not to slide the metal along the surface. Hope this helps fam!!🔥🔥.
Lol, for sure! This is Adam, and I thought the same thing during the edit (I do the editing, Brett did the cook - the chicken was on the griddle for over 10 minutes and was cooked through, I realized one cut of the edit made it look as though the chicken was pushed in before being cooked - it was and editing thing, not a cooking issue, you saw what I picked up after I cut out the additional footage!) - hope this makes sense!!
Man!!! I can almost smell it’s got to be scrumptious
Woot woot!! Heck yes brother!! You gotta make this for you and Zeb!!🔥🔥🤙🤙💪💪
Great one! Thanks.
Thank you brother! This one was amazing!!🔥🔥
Bangin' Rice, Brother!!
Woot woot! Rob!! Heck yes brother! Always so good to see you!!🔥🔥
Love the idea of using the pre cooked rice. Game changer!!
Total game changer! Much love brother!!!😁❤️🤙
Looks Easy...Fast...., and Yum!!! Another great cook Fam!!! Much Luv! GRIDDLE ON!!!

Easy breezy chicken dinner, quick, yummy meals...lovin this, another banger jents!!!
GREAT looking cook, looks AMAZING. Thanks for this

Having fun at #1
Woot woot!! And he’s back in the game!!💪💪🔥🔥
That fried rice looks delicious I’ve never thought of using ready rice I’ll keep that in mind next time I do a fried rice cook cheers 🔥👍❤️

Looks amazing! When it warms up a bit in Maryland, this will be the first cook!
Wahoo!! Excellent first choice of cooks for sure!! So incredible!!!🔥🔥
Great cook. Like the quite and easy fried rice recipe. What size was the uncle Ben jasmine rice?
Great for quick meals for family and guests. Also makes a quick meal prep for the full week. Yum!
So quick and yes! The griddle is perfect for meal prep! Much love as always fam!!🔥🔥
Dude, my wife is Filipino, so we always have Thai Jasmine rice leftover in the fridge.
Wahoo!! We love it! It really is hard to use any other rice after you have jasmine!😂😂🔥🔥

Haven’t used the ready rice but I will have to check it out. I use the stir fry oil and you can get them with flavors. Love it it and love y’all.
Oh for sure! Nothing beats being able to cook early and set in fridge to dry, but this for sure works in a pinch! Thank you as always fam!!🔥🔥🤙🤙

Absolutely! We usually pre-cook the noodles and then add them - in fact, we have a Yakisoba cook coming up soon!!🔥🔥

Fried rice is one of my faves on the griddle. Shrimp, especially. I've never tried the ready rice, but I guess it's time. Good one, Brett.

I always use the Jasmine ready rice and you do need to break it up before you put it on the griddle. I also love to do Lo Mein on the griddle.
Yes! We love lo mein! Soo good! I believe we will be doing a lo mein cook coming up soon! Thank you so much for watching Joel! Griddle on brother!!😁❤️🤙
Have you trended away from the ABC sweet soy sauce for the regular low sodium soy sauce?
Not at all brother! This was just a quick, last minute idea for people that haven’t ever tried making it. We LOVE our ABC sweet!❤️❤️❤️
Brother Brett! Another winning entree for the #Waltwins food truck- Oriental style. These delicious veggie rice bowls with your choice of protein(s) will tempt the palate and warm the soul. Well done and griddle on!
Wahoo!! Heck yes! This will be on the Asian Flare truck!😂😂. The combo fried rice looks incredible, can’t wait for Brett to share!!🔥🔥
Are you preferring the Pitboss to the Blackstone?

Popped Rice. Fun to watch. I bet it's horrid to clean up.
So fun to watch! And not too bad on the cleanup! Thanks so much David! Griddle on!!!😁❤️🤙
Use a plastic meat chopper to easily break up the rice
Agreed! Brett and I discussed, and for sure he should have massaged the rice in the packed first, but also the chopper would have helped. Cheers!🔥🔥
Was that chicken cooked? Because it didn’t look cooked…

I have a recipe for you to try, but it’s to much to type in TH-cam. Can I email y’all? Ironically, it’s a Tod Toven recipe with my own twist on it.
Heck yes brother! We love all things Todd Toven!🔥🔥

😂that’s not a Blackstone.
