Great hang out and happy birthday 🥳 to big Rich.been told it’s not a good idea to block off the EGR,as it can blow the 3rd cylinder apparently.after all they wouldn’t fit them if they weren’t required.’some real life stuff’😂-fitted a new EGR,turbo,heater fan and clutch last year in my Sprinter.just had to fit new high pressure fuel pump,starter motor,EGR coolant manifold + common rail.but the real belter of a job was fitting a new heater matrix and coolant pipes.what a job that is,the whole dash,loom and everything has to come out no escaping it just to pull out the coolant matrix.diligently cleaned everything bits and bobs in the bath.now fitting it all back together.flushed the coolant system and going to run EVANS prep fluid through it.then fill with Evan’s non water heavy duty for turbo diesel vans coolant. hopefully I won’t be going through all of that again SUFFERING SUCKATAGE PHEW!.I’m certainly going to enjoy getting my feet up out with the dog anywhere will do.hopefully somewhere great 👍.✊🙏❤️👌👊

When you get to Australia, have a look at OKA 4x4, they're like the big brother Pinzgauer never had. They make them here in Perth WA in small numbers. What part of OZ are you moving to?
Iv got a 2018 T6 only got 65,000 on clock and already had new EGR then timing belt snapped got that repaired now DPF has failed 😢 not much luck with mine 😂
@@urbanarkoverland Nothing wrong with any of it except the crappy cooler and its wafer thin matrix, replaced every part like you and the cooler is supposed to be upgraded !! Apparently the coolant is upgrade also which might help the cooler but I suspect it is just a more environmentally friendly coolant !!
@@urbanarkoverland I was away the weekend, ran fridge, lights and charged iPads and phone lost 1 light of the remote, by the time I looked on Saturday night it was back fully charged off the solar panel. Looking forward to Scotland later this year.

Cheaper than Millers, I did 45,000 miles in my Revo mapped 204 T6. 90% of my trips were short 5 mile trips to work and back, never had any dpf or egr issues even though I was a worst use case for a modern diesel. Also I had a yearly oil and filter change, lifeblood of the engine. 2 of my mates use cheap diesel, no additives and long life servicing, both have had new egr coolers and egr valves
