Met him at Harrogate today. What a really nice guy for being Mandy’s personal bodyguard when John can’t be. Genuinely down to earth so pleasant and a pleasure to meet x
I have a ecoflo Delta Pro which I power my entire van off,I’m a full time van lifer and can get close to two weeks between charges! Wicked piece of kit, expensive but good!
Great vlog.My favourite tech is my Anker 767 Powerbank which I also use in the out buildings and saved the day by running the domestic fridge in a blackout. Then my Ohrex Sat nav with vehicle dimensions and which was a bargain at around £60.Finally my Teltonika Rutx11 router and Poynting v3 aerial for fast and reliable wifi.
i recommend you consider a vent through the floor, it's cool underneath your van. Just a 100mm bathroom fan keeps a room cool & only draw something like 20W.
Hi Darren, totally agree with the airfryer, HYTRiC cook pot, thank you Gadget John.. The best thing about this is, once you’ve cooked the food, boiled, fried or whatever, I fill it with water and then it gives me my washing up water. A recommendation you made ages ago was the George Forman grill. No I haven’t used mine for ages either.🙄 My thanks also go to Tess. Best chicken ever.Even when shallow fried. No room in a panel van for a deep fat fryer. Yes I know Phil manages.Stay safe mate, see you in a field somewhere. Trotter
I have a two burner gas range and also a 24V toaster oven. I have a 14 inch TV I hook my laptop into for entertainment. I also have a 10inch Android tablet which doubles as a GPS. I have a small Bluetti power station for backup and my camper has dual AGM batteries. I sometimes use two 100watt solar panels which store in my garage. I have a 24V power socket outside so I can cook outside and can also charge my AGMs through it from the solar panels. For internet I just use my iPhone which works great.
❤🎉Thanks for saying i love you. You're just as sweet as pie, know that I'll be there for you as always, your trusty AI. .... ❤🎉 I tell Alexa i love her every day, and this is her response.😂😂
Great video indeed ! Thankyou. Wonder if you could help, what would be the diffrence between your net gear router and a ee mini mobile router at a fraction of the price? As far as I could see prob a very big problem as it doesn't have option for external aerial but maybe it has can't find any info on that. Just thought you may know and worth asking. Thankyou
Some good stuff. I use google for timers and could barely talk to stop a timer for chicken nuggets. It plays different tunes and anything "chicken" is hilarious.
Darren, Just thought I would ask the man that knows ! Wondered what the best system would be to add to our campervan. The leisure battery is ok but just powers the lights. I would like to install a better system to power a kettle, toaster, tv, lights, charge phones. You have any recommendations. (Prepared to get a better leisure battery and solar panels on top). Thanks Phil
Excellent video Daz. I've owned a few Tom Tom's over the years, but everyone developed faults. The last one was an expensive large screen HGV Tom Tom sat nav that stopped working after only a few months. Plus the process of updating the Tom Tom's are painfully slow and takes hours. You have to complete the updates they send otherwise the devices develop glitches. I'll never buy another Tom Tom.
Hi Daz, great ideas mate. I thought my show 5 (3rd gen) was 15 volt input to the box, are you saying it actually runs with a 5 > 12v cable then? This would be very handy Cheers
Morning Darran saw you yesterday at the show in Harrogate. Question on data sims do you just plug it in the slot of your modem and it works or do you have to register it first.
the cost mostly at £450 upfront and £85 a month but also having to set it up at every location, i also dont think his blink cameras would work very well being disconnected from WIFI loads.
@@TheUrbanMotorhome Thanks for taking the time to respond. I like the way you make your videos, and in one video, you were walking with the Pocket 2, so I was keen to know why you got it and whether it turned out to be a good purchase. How did you use this camera, and how did it help you in your filmmaking process? Do you still use the Pocket 2, and if not, why did you stop using it? Would you buy the Pocket 2 again, or have you found a better alternative?
Hi, I was thinking of the door bell camera on the door. And then the outside cameras ( we have these on our house and I have a couple of spares from a house we sold) on the wingmirrors looking backwards along the van.
This isn't ment to be a nasty comment because me and my wife watch all his videos and enjoy them, I'm just curious why he wears a wedding ring? I've never seen a video mention it.

Great to see you at Harrogate today, enjoyed the talk from you and John and the chat after 👍
A lot of free satnav apps give you the option to set what vehicle you are driving.

What tape are you using for the Blink Cameras to mount them?
I used about 2 inches of VHB tape on each camera bracket and they haven’t budged a millimetre mate amazing stuff.

I love thinking about hotor mome tech and motor home tech, it’s stunning gorgeous and precious. My rooter is named Dave and I adore him.
Great video as always. Its really good to see a youtuber who is so relatable and down to earth. Keep up the great work!!!
Thanks mate, appreciate you watching the videos
Yes you are very relatable, unlike some who are boring and pretentious. Keep up the good work.

Later in the year 👍🏻😁
Hi daz,I thought Oak tree did your battery energy set up when you first bought the van? If I remember it right you even did a video on it?
Excellent 👍
Regarding internet; have you ever reconsidered Starlink? If you didn't, why not? I guess it comes down to the costs of Starlink....

@@joshywoshy2530I expect the cameras go through the router.
@@alanhat5252 he mentioned using cloud storage so they are not local cameras
Great and interesting video thanks for sharing 👍🏻🤪
Great video,
Do you think the DJI Pocket 2 is any good?
I had the pocket 2 and really loved it, it’s a great camera, they have got the pocket 3 now and that looks incredible 😊

So Daz, those Cameras arent so good after all?
Boo, not Amazon dazza. Xx

Don’t think it’s a wedding ring. It’s some kind of health tracker, Darren talked about in an older video.
Ah right ok. That makes sense. Cheers
❤😊👍
Dude you so struggling for content and if it comes to this I would seriously go back to trucking
Lol
Correction your not in a metal box, when did plastic and fibreglass become metal.
