Great vlog, I've just got the bulbs for my T6 from Halfords, same ones but £18 👍
On my Kiravan door pocket, I ran a length of 5mm bungee cord across the middle pocket, It keeps everything inside the pocket and prevents any overhanging items pin-striping the van when the door is opened. Simple to do by drilling 2 small holes either end and knotting the bungee in the hole to provide tension. I also carpeted it.

we have an Ovano XL - had it for 12 months - had an option to leave it in our 5.1 when we sold the van but we love it so much we transferred it into our new 6.1 - wouldn't be without it.. Really well made piece of kit.

Just watched this again and thought as our bed system is an absolute stonking bit of heavy duty fold away space saving bed I would pass this onto you having seen your bed system. It’s callled a SteeFree bed and is so simple to set up and fold away so you can still use the existing three row seats in the back, the bed itself is brilliant I absolutely love it, having travelled around Europe for over 23 years each year mastering different ways you gotta go take a look at these

I’ve had an OVANO system in my T6 Kombi for almost two years, I swear by it. I had to take it out recently to collect a sit on mower and with my sons assistance as it’s heavy, I had it out in ten minutes. Your welcome to see mine if you wanted to meet up👍🏻

Great work on the mini mods.. I used to have team Heko deflectors on my t6 and they were the worst things ever. So much wind noise when on the motorway (windows shut) I bought the van with them on and took me much longer than I would have liked to figure out where all the wind noise was coming from. Straight in the bin.. would be interesting to see if you have the same issue.

Your link for the lightbulb replacement goes to a RED LIGHT. I found this out after I ordered the bulbs and after fitting them. The company were great about replacing them for white though.

The 2020 led bulds you highlighted are brilliant, however im on my 3rd set in just over 6 months, £30 for 3 months use is extreme, Ive downgraded to a £20 set by 2020 and so far so good.

I looked at Ovano bed system but decided against it and built my own frame and bed system using B&Q timber and Ikea Sofa bed mattress. Its not beautiful but converts the whole width inc rear seats down into mattress. Much cheaper option utilising lash down points. Im not a tradesman but someone with skills could make it look 300% better. The only down side is that you dont get a movable bulkhead - Within 1 day of getting my van was change the wheels, ABS wheel covers and rear door side covers, Heko and full insulated and soundproofing - Never looked back since

Do the door panels squeak or rattle much? I love the idea they just looked a little flimsy and a material that might squeak against the door, bit like your concern about the arch covers?

You could even easily remove it and use it for a spare bed in the house although I’ve never tried that

Hi, I've got a VW T6 California, don't know what Jack you have, but I have a jack that came as standard with my van. I had a blow out recently, the jack that came with my van was bloody dangerous, it seemed like it was made for a small car like a mini, fiesta etc. Was so bloody dodgy, thinking of buying maybe a bottle jack, what do you use? Any suggestions? I'm after something light weight but solid and reliable. Successful changed my tyre but it seemed incredibly dodgy! Any recommendations?
I never use and factory supplied jack. Take ya life into ya own hands with them 😂

Headlights I’m not sure. I know transporter hq upgrade the dog lights to led with a plug in. So maybe.

It’s about 20mm. Has a decent amount of insulation on bottom. If already plied it, just altro it. I have a vid in that but in sprinter.

Will these bulbs fit a 2019 T6 and are the T6 bulbs useless as I have no idea what I have in there, and what about new headlight bulbs for the T6 :)

I have driven a few cars with wind deflectors, and being tall, I find they cut down the vision through the window. I would never have them, maybe a consideration for taller people.
How tall are ya???? I forget mine are there. I know some cheaper brands have like. 3” coverage. These are minimal.
@@urbanarkoverland 6’2”, so nothing exceptional. I just find it annoying to have to look out under them, then you have the line of the plastic, and different shading. Personal choice obviously.

If this is a transporter.... It is missing the extra front door seals that the caravelle / california have. They are low cost... Make a big wind noise difference.

Replacing headlights, side lights , brake lights etc with LED is still illegal check the current law so lets hope nobody has a crash and insurance company don't find out and say your not covered. choice is yours.
Well my van just passed an mot at vw with them.
I’m not so sure you are factually correct. These are daylight running bulbs. NOT sidelights or headlights.
Replacing highbeam? How could that be illegal since you have to turn them of when you meet oncoming vehicle?
It’s upto the mot tester if the beam pattern is correct and the tester didn’t spot them they often pass, or you could just swap back for the mot
