Another solid video. Watch it like it's my actual job, do a Lil research for way too many hours, feel guilty about buying a toy with 72v and then promptly buy nothing. Still... I value your input more than all the other channels; even like Micah from electrek or that dude from Venice Beach with the Surron.
Sounds like they've been overheated and have a glaze built up that will make that sound. My bike did that. I just sprayed em down real good with brake cleaner. Solved the problem.
How can suggest that Ride1up over the Ridstar q20, Amyet g60, or even the Tamobyke. All of which are right around that $1000 mark on Amazon. All of which would out run your friends bike (laughable 23 mph), and have about twice the battery of the Ride1up. Even after watching your entire video I'm still scratching my head over this suggestion.
What you said at the beginning is what I was thinking when I purchased my ebike, I was looking at the $1000 - $1500 (Canadian dollars) and they just weren't doing it for me, I went with the just released in middle of Dec eahora hedonic cupid. Since it's only been available for such a short time I couldn't find reviews on it, the specs looked good and the reviews for the Romeo & Juliet ebikes were great I took a chance and ordered the cupid. I didn't want buyers regret getting something that didn't meet my wants or needs. Now back to the video, until my ebike arrives I am scratching the itch by watching videos, it may give me an idea for a second bike for my son so thank you for putting it out lol
I really want to upgrade an existing drop box bike, but not sure if i should add a front motor with its own controller and throttle, OR upgrade the back motor and get a new controller and a much larger battery?
I read where the juiced hyper scrambler is being discontinued, and it's under $1,800. Like I said in another comment, I ordered the wired freedom like two nights ago now, and I probably should have purchased the aerial rider x class instead.
40 ah version of the g force zm sounds like a good e bike buying guide choice in 2024/2023 in my opinion because it feels like a miniature motorcycle as a moped style e bike and has a great/lot of functionality in the display and is a good choice for modifications/upgrades like you can with the super 73 e bike models
Hey Dude, after watching your video for the 10th time, I was able to figure out your location. Riding on Route 22 is very dangerous. I usually ride my Wired freedom from Orange NJ to Elizabeth NJ. We need dedicated Ebike and Scooter lanes in NJ.
I know this is going to sound like a stupid question, but is there any way you can put 20 inch wheels on the wired freedom? I wanted a bike that my wife and I could both ride, and after ordering the bike two nights ago, I heard someone say that unless you're taller than 5'6in, it's almost impossible to get on it and ride it. Which is definitely concerning because my wife is only 5 ft tall.
Freego F3 Pro Max, Check it out. Duel 1000W peak motors and duel batteries. I live in Amish country Ohio with lots of hills. It's a beast on the hills.
Whenever I see a the Wired Freedom compared to other 26" fat tire bikes, they never show it next to the Engwe X26. Makes me think they can't compare. I'm leaning toward the X26.
Keep in mind boys and girls, the best e-bike is the e-bike that you build for yourself! Build what is best for you and remember a bike that you build has parts that could be easily found anywhere whereas many e-bikes you may buy that were pre-built have parts the only the Builder has access to. Have fun and stay safe
I've seen e-bikes really come down in 2024 because the market is totally saturated and they've been really sticking it up our butts.... The fat tire bikes really aren't necessary nobody's going to ride in the snow nobody's going to ride on the Sandy Beach.., we want more ampere hours.., we don't want fast bikes because you can't ride them on the bike path ... We want a normal speed and we want to go long distances.. I rode my fat tire eBay over 3,000 MI... I like the bike.. but I did learn that you don't need the fat tires and you're better off without him
Don't ever come to Australia to do a review of eBikes here. 😢 Our Max speed limit is 25kph (15.6mph). Our biggest motor allowed is 250w. NSW has just redone their eBike laws, you can now get a 500w motor, but only in that state. 🙄😁 You can actually have whatever size motor you want, it must be restricted to 25kph.
I don't see safety as your concern riding without flashing lights, clothing that most drivers cannot see and riding on sidewalk which would be against the law here and they would bless you with a ticket. Good helmet though.
Your friends bike is rubbish mine is the same rubbish it will be 750wat Fat Tyre from China rubbish if you want a good bike is buy a frame aluminium 2000wat kit then put all the lights on. By the way your mirror are crap you shoud have two one each handle bars fat tyres but not 4ins then you have a bike you want to ride all day we'll I've got that bike. The best part of fat tyre bikes is the frame if doing wiring feed wires through the frame. I've just up grade my 750wat to 30amp controller sw900 display tell your friend to get that upgrade he will get 35mph + no joking
What kind of bike are you riding in this video? What is the wattage and what is the top speed on it? Great video btw
Custom 72v 3-4kw with a max speed of 45mph
Another solid video.

more than Micah?
@@sammiller6631yeah. Pretty much. Micah isn't able to really say exactly what he thinks cuz electrek is huge and he'll get in trouble
@@CommentLikeDescribe electrek is not huge. TH-cam is much much larger.
What is going on with Andre’s brakes 😅 that sounds like his pads are completely worn and the rotor is scraping on the caliper. Or contaminated / wet
Sounds like they've been overheated and have a glaze built up that will make that sound. My bike did that. I just sprayed em down real good with brake cleaner. Solved the problem.
Nice videos man. Enjoy tuning into your channel when you upload. Convinced me to get the GTX and It's been a good investment.

Which motor are you adding to the P-51?? Looking forward to the video! Great job!
How tall is Andrea?
Somehow this is just so entertaining.
All commuter epeds need a rear Rack and Fenders, building your own bike is fun but takes years of development to get right
I really want to upgrade an existing drop box bike, but not sure if i should add a front motor with its own controller and throttle, OR upgrade the back motor and get a new controller and a much larger battery?
i bought this off Amazon recently for $1399 + shipping and it is awesome so far; Edikani Dual Motor 1500W 48V 18Ah Throttle Ebike

Fake mini bikes are corny
ROUTE 22! Haha that’s awesome.. would recognize that road anywhere 😂 where u from?
have you tried any of the flat protection methods currently being pushed?
Hey Dude, after watching your video for the 10th time, I was able to figure out your location. Riding on Route 22 is very dangerous. I usually ride my Wired freedom from Orange NJ to Elizabeth NJ. We need dedicated Ebike and Scooter lanes in NJ.
a smaller sized wired freedom and I’ll buy it day 1!!!
Would you recommend ride1up portola over the heybike mars 2.0?

Ohio has hills? LOL
What is the weight of one tire that you have linked in the description?
There's a couple scores on Amazon for less that a grand, ones that were 11 hundred plus a year ago, now $850 ish.

💀
I'm artistic😮

Building one myself...

Your boy needs some new brake pads.
Or needs to clean the rotors.

You rode all the bikes in your”Buying Guide 2024”?

Why you have to remind me the years nearly over

In my area the ordinance calls for bike riders to stay to the sidewalk when possible.
Dude, 23.9 Get it right
23.9?
