That poor horse... I'm surprised those wounds didn't get badly infected. They looked super deep and big, I could only imagine how bad it would hurt, let alone the fact they weren't being treated
Another note, i absolutely love horses, always have and always will as they have such a very special place in my heart, due to growing up around them when i was a very small child. My family could not afford a horse so to me owing one is a real luxury and yet there are people who cause such precious creations of our Dear Lord to suffer. I also remember my friend wanting a horse and she asked her mum and i can recall some of what she said her mother that is, ' horse horse, we can't afford a horse ...'
I am in awe of what a good organization this is. There are horse rescues in the US, of course, but none that I know of that are this comprehensive and well funded. Truly inspirational.
What a sweet little Brackety Pony. I just want to give him a hug. And WHY no one called and reported him suffering, I just can’t understand. Even if you don’t particularly LIKE horses, the poor animal was bleeding and in so much pain. The thought that so many people just said, “Meh, let’s let him die. Someone else will call it in.” Because by not reporting him, that’s what they were saying essentially; it took days for someone too call in. He’s lucky to have his life.
I used to ride a little Connemara and he was a plod to ride However the owners when I was schooling him said to take him round the block to cool him off and the first sign of anything bigger than a car and he just bolted out of nowhere. Luckily me being a young adult I could keep hold of him but I could imagine this being a terrifying experience for a small child. I stood him at the yard entrance and watched cars go by every day and took him to shows to see all the big wagons and trailers. He's now bombproof in every way and I ended up hunting him - big surprise when we went to clip him and it unveiled long huge scratches all along his side like he'd been through barbed wire and I always wondered if that and his fear of roads were connected. Makes you wonder a lot about horses back stories particularly when they have these adverse reactions or are nervous :)
Gosh, why do I watch these?? 🙁I felt really upset when I started watching this poor wee pony. But then the man who was talking, spoke so well about it, I felt that this pony was lucky to have him. They're serious about what they do. And that was reassuring to listen to. Caring lovely people 👍🏾
Thank you for all you did for dear Banjo and all the horses you rescue, treat, and save. Banjo is a sweet boy. I hope he finds a good forever home and I'm glad you will keep a close on on him.
It warms my heart knowing that people still care about horses, because in the past they used horses.. but then started using cars and left them behind, I’m so disgusted with whoever walked past him and was like “ eh, he is just a horse” it’s absolutely ridiculous. Thanks for putting your hearts into saving this little cutie! God bless you!
Good work. These videos are a great way to educate the public including those who own horses, what is neglect and how to notice and report it...to get help.
You are one of the best if not the very best in the world. I am always touched by your stories of abuse and neglect, how you do take care ,and with love help this wonderful so noble beings. Thank you!
I can't even begin to imagine what could have caused those twin wounds but thank goodness for rescue. Blessings to the kind person who made the call that changed his life. Such a big reason for not always looking into a phone screen, there is not only beauty to behold but great needs crying out for your help.
What an amazing transformation for this beautiful baby! From his funky mane to his amazing hind, he has truly made a mark in history! He is a special boy for sure!
I just love what y'all do...I think I'll seriously consider leaving my estate to this group. Thank you for all that you do to heal and rehabilitate these precious animals! Much love and admiration from Alaska, USA
Why do I watch these videos? I always cry in them and I always end up adopting some new pet from a shelter. And now I have 5 Cats, 3 Dogs, 1 Horse, 9 Chickens and 2 Birds........ I DON'T CARE! I STILL LOVE THEM ALL!!!!! XD
Awwwwww. This poor little guy. No way would I have ignored it. I would have called someone to get help for him. These awful people who treat these animals this way deserve to be thrown in prison and the key destroyed.
He was probably some kid's pony and when they out-grew him he was dumped in the field. Then he became the "omega" of the herd and got all those wounds from being bitten and kicked. Poor little guy. I would love to have a pony like that to drive!
Was the pony a stud or gelding? I'm in veterinary science and i learned that some studs will essentially self harm themselves and bite their flanks until they bleed and even beyond that.
It’s terrible to see how many people walked past this gorgeous horse
I just dont understand how people can simply walk past suffering.
Shame on every person that walked past and ignored this :(
he is a very pretty pony
Alois Trancy so true no matter how hairless muddy or anything every horse is beautiful in its own way
I own a blind poa and love riding her and spending time with her
hes looking stunning now
Thank God for people like you for saving these precious animals
He turned out to be a beautiful pony!
So glad Banjo is making a full recovery shame on the owner who abandoned him and shame on anyone who walked past and didn’t help him
Thank you so much world horse welfare!!
I own 6 horses!!

Great recovery
Unbelievable! !
Thank you 😘😘😘

That poor boy. So glad you helped banjo
Thank you everyone
Heart breaking. A huge thank you to everyone involved in rescuing him and making a happy pony. No animal should ever be treated how this li'l guy was.

The people that did not help this pony are cruel and uncaring. I hope karma finds each and everyone of them!

You people are amazing. True Angels to the equestrian world. God bless you and God bless all of the ponies/horses you save and try to save. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❣️❣️

Thank you for what you do, he's actually really beautiful. No horse deserves to be treated like this xx
I hope the people who abandoned him are watching this, and realizing what they did wrong. At least he's in a good home at world horse welfare.
Big compliment from Holland!
god bless these people.
