It is a very doable qual with ample target size and generous time. It is one you can easily track your progress with. I suggest you log your actual total time and the height and width of your groups. Then push your speed and compare your accuracy for a definitive measure of your improving skill set.
Agreed. For the video, I didn't log every stage but if you watch to the very end, I suggest the same general thing. Logging training and your practice sessions is a great thing and is to be encouraged. Glad to see we agree on this!
I did watch the entire video and, as always, it was excellent. I have been logging every shooting session for several years. When shooting B8 style target, the score is obviously a measure of accuracy. Shooting Q style targets with very generous scoring areas, logging the measurements of my groups gives me much better data regarding my accuracy trends. I am amazed how many other intermediate level shooters do not understand the benefits of keeping consistent records of their performances.
Who can determine what some government is ever thinking when they create stuff? If you want something all jacked up and nonsensical, government can do that with the best of them. Miss you as well, friend.
Thank you to Lora of @defenderslive for the fantastic editing!
Happy to do it!
Lora is a Rockstar, great job editing as usual.
You are a badass, your times are a true testament to your dedication! -Nan
That's a nice test, no huge pressure to get it done. There's time to take your time.
Interesting to see what the AZ qual is. Both of us requalify later this month for our personal security licenses (TX), we have a fun shotgun add on 😊
It’s kinda like the FBI qual, just with more stages and with more generous times.
Looks like a good drill. I’m gonna have to make it down for one of these practice sessions, make it the “Four Mikes”.
😂 do it!!
