I had the original Naga Pro for 11 years before I finally retired it. (It was still working, but the battery was shot). I was DELIGHTED when I saw they had a new version that didn’t have a silly rechargeable battery. It’s easy for me to pop a fresh AA in when it needs juice. Plus no battery pack to wear out over time.
I had the Naga Hex (wraith red), and it was probably the best mouse I've ever used. Unfortunately, the scroll wheel stopped working, and the left click worked 1 in every 5 or so clicks lmao.
Yep. Was looking for a good MMO mouse and found a reddit post recommendation for the G600, and as a current G502 user I was like "hell yeah, that will definitely be quality" only to find out it's no longer made :) guess this will do
I have this garbage Razer, it didn't work even for 1 year before 1 side button died and the scroll didn't last even 4 months before i had problems with it, so i just disassembled my old G600, repaired it, and use that now... my 2nd razor that died like this, meanwhile I used the g600 for years without ever having a problem with the scroll, and now i know why, the razer has potentiometers for it... the G600 is made with a light sensor of some short.... so i will just open and repair my G600 until the motherboard is good in it before i ever buy another Razer or any other MMO mouse... i had a readragon, the mouse everyone shits on, that lasted me 4years for 20$... and these razers for 60-150$ can't do even 4 months.... so just buy a RedRagon , it's 20$ and will last you way more than this garbage, and if it dies, you still can buy 3-4 for the price of one of these. And if anyone has a g600 here, and the side buttons don't work, just watch a video on YT and disassemble it, it's an easy fix... the entire mouse is made in a way there is almost no way for it to fail .... the only thing that can go wrong in it are the buttons that are easy to repair( side buttons are indestructible , the only problem with it is a little plastic glued on the button , it will fall off... you can replace it with something else) , and i have this for 10+ years, and never had anything else go wrong with it...
I am still using my Old 10+ year Naga Epic because they just haven't brought anything out that competes with its ergonomic side grips or the ability to both be wired or wireless.
I own the Razer Naga V2 gaming mouse and find while it's powered by a single AA battery that is a good feature. Been using the Razer Naga V2 gaming mouse for one week now for multiple hours per day and the double AA battery just now hit 72%. It's quite simple to install another fresh double AA battery when it comes to that.
Just got a (used, I didn't pay full price lol) naga V2 pro and I like it except for the lack of the two index buttons left of the 'left click'. Will be getting one of these instead as muscle memory will not allow me to easily learn to do without them. If the pro had those it would be the perfect mouse IMO.
I just ordered this because I have bought 3 new naga pros and they have all had loose scroll wheels. Hopefully this one has good tight tolerance because it's a brand new product.
my scroll wheel is double clicking as well, if that is what you are referring to. there is a solution. just blow your scroll wheel with your moist breath. I need to do it like every 3 or 4 days.
Holy moly. I love the razer naga molten with the 2 bottens… and I wanted to buy this one, because they finally did this again, but the buttons on the side are more close then from the molten and what the hell, we have 2023 and they didn’t add recharge in it? Just wow, even my electric eraser have some
does it register 2 buttons commands at the same time? for example one button mapped to CTRL and another to C or V, so can click 2 buttons together for copy/paste. I have a Redragon M913 wireless and it doesn't have it, it's really annoying
imo its better than a rechargable. 1. the product wont be disposable after a couple years 2. i can keep multiple rechargable AA batteries lying around for 0 downtime
i was excited for the 2 extra buttons on the top. But now I realized you lose the two dpi changing ones, so basically still the same amount of buttons :(
Really bend your finger to press the corner buttons??? 😯 How long are your fingers? Or are mine just short? 😂 I can barely reach the one furthest away.
Not sure if this was asked already, and I know that even the most basic mouse has it. Does it have a middle click functionality when you press the scrollwheel downwards? I don't think it was mentioned in the video. Thanks!
If I were to buy one of these it would need to be the pro version for the battery issue, but im hesitant to spend so much since when I bought the Naga v1 back in the day, it started doing lots of weird double clicking etc. I ended up replacing it with some chinese rip off version that worked perfectly for years (in fact I still have it)
I feel like Razer are screwing us a bit with the the hyperspeed, why not let us recharge it via usb? they just want is to pay almost double the price for the pro version!
Will macros, assigned to the side buttons, work when the mouse is connected via Bluetooth, or the will only work when connected via the 2.4 GHz dongle? I have SteelSeries Aerox 9 mouse and custom macros are only working when the mouse is connected via the dongle + SteelSeries "GG" application is running. I am using MMO mice for work, and don't need fast response times, Bluetooth will work fine and I really don't want to use the port on my laptop just for the mouse dongle.
Yes it would, provided you set the mouse up on a computer with Synapse first (via dongle). The functions would carry over to the mouse when connecting via Bluetooth. Tried this at the RazerStore at the HQ today, once this functionality was confirmed, I paid for it.
@@glarenbutclearn So, I ended up getting Naga V2 Pro. Hyperspeed's two buttons, located near the left click, proved a little bit difficult to reach, and I need all the programmable buttons I can get :) Can confirm, that button mappings (even custom macro that I'm using) are available when mouse is connected via Bluetooth. However, I've had a strange bug, when buttons, which are using combinations that include "Windows" key (three buttons in total), stopped working after mouse waking up from sleep. Restarting Synapse didn't help. The solution is to reconnect the mouse via 2.4 GHz dongle, then switch back to Bluetooth. This was happening during a single day, all other times macro buttons assigned with "Windows" key combination are working fine, after the mouse wakes up. Never used Razer mouse before, but can tell that this is the best mouse I've ever used. Also, some reviewer told that it is very difficult to pick up the mouse because side buttons are very easy to press accidentally - for me this is not the case. Mouse can be lifted up without accidentally pressing the side buttons quite easily.
How many onboard memory profiles are there? Will the onboard memory profiles work w/o Razer Synapse 3? I'm planning to use this mouse for work in which I'm not allowed to install non-work software.
Do you see LEDs or transparent plastic on it? If yes, it probably lights up. If not, it definitely lights up, but in the color of unicorn emissions, which the human eye can't see.
For Windows: Easiest way is to make a desktop shortcut to Adobe/whatever program. In the shortcut properties set a keyboard shortcut (make it complex, like ctrl-alt-shift-F12 or else there will be conflicts), then set your desired mouse button to send that key combination from Razer's software. Slightly more complex, but offering WAY MORE customizability would be to make an AutoHotkey/AutoIT/Python script that runs at Windows startup and watches for that key combination, to launch the program or do anything you want it to do when you press the mouse button which fires that key combo. AutoHotkey is probably the easiest scripting language you could use for this purpose, you can learn the basics in an afternoon. For Linux: You don't need handholding, you're probably using Arch. 😂 Edit: I forgot about Macs. Eh, probably for the best...
Si este mouse tendría el tercer click como el g600 que hace poder blindear las 12 del lateral otra vez teniendo 24 y un botón de sniper sería el mouse más perfecto del mercado
Does key binds work even if Razer synapse is not running on pc? If I program keybinds(like alt+tab) once with Razer synapse and save it. Will the keybinds work without synapse running and over Bluetooth?
Hello, Is there any razer mouse with those 2 superior left buttons plus radial side plate? Basicaly Naga Trinity radial side plate plus those 2 superior buttons.
kinda wish they make the v2 pro like this, 2 small side click near the left click, and free scroll i personally own a g604, and i set those small left clicks into g switch, which in razer i think it equivalent to hypershift left finger on it, and thumb can do the click on the left panels, so like u have 6 extra keys, problem with pro is i can not find a good spot for ths hypershift function, and scroll is a big thing, on the pro they have the software control, but still not good enough like most time you need a special scroll, you need it either all the way to the top or all the way to the bottom but the pro scroll ain't good enough, it just like more mouse with more dpi, but i need all the way to one direction i bought the v2 pro and very dissapoint to it, decide to stick with my g604
I'm a G604 user looking for a "upgrade".... I use + as interact and - as menu.... honestly though I don't think I'm going to find a replacement until Logitech makes a G606
Avoid buying this mouse. I purchased two this year, and both stopped working within months-one after 3 months, the other after 4. In both cases, the mouse kept disconnecting from the USB receiver plugged into the computer after just a few seconds.
Rechargeable batteries are a thing, you just have to charge them OUTSIDE of the mouse. This mouse + charger + 2 rechargeable batteries is still way cheaper than the pro version which has a built-in battery. Also, with this version, you don't throw the mouse away when the battery dies.
See and I actually prefer the AA battery. Much more durable, long term. My original NAGA rechargeable battery went kaput about 4 years after I bought it. I refused to pay $50 for a replacement battery. So a cheap AA battery is a welcome change for me.
I've been using a Logitech G604 and bought a 4 pack of panisonic eneloop batteries. Each one last about 1.5-2 months. It's way more convenient to me than having a wireless mouse you have to plug in every few days.
That was the main reason i got this one. Got 2 lithium rechargeables and swap them. This means the mouse isn't garbage when the battery eventually dies. I love it so far.
