4:10 I'm pretty sure you already know but I think TWS (at least the non HDN version) needs a little bit of time to see what's out there to build up a trackfile. That's been my experience in the MiG-29s and the Su-27.
13.0 is not enough of an increass in BR. These new vehicles should be something like 15.0 and the reat decompressed accordingly. It goes from ~1930-1945 in 7.0 BR or so, and then goes 1946-2006 in 6.0 BR. 15 years in 7.0 BR and then 60 years in 6.0 BR.
It's really not that modern compared to the others tbh. Yes, it's some years newer than the F-15C with the AMRAAMs and HMD, or the also new F-15J MSIP, but not a huge difference. The newest top tier fighter in the game is still the Mig-29SMT, which should also get R-77 this update if I'm not wrong.
Think the reason your missile missed so much was you were firing at a guy like 20+ km away and instantly breaking lock. The missile can only detect targets up to 16km away so breaking lock before then leaves it blind
It would all depend on targets vector and seekers' FOV once pitbull if the INS would put the target within the seekers' vision. One *theoretically* should be able to put a missile out maddogged just in the area you suspect the target will end up being and it would then pitbull on whatever it can find.

I really doubt it. All it’s gonna do is cause more team kills if anything, just like in the test server. You can still easily multipath them like every other radar missile.
Not going to happen, multipathing is still working just fine, thus flying low works like it used to for last year. Simply any ventures into vertical will be penalized even harder with FnF very maneuvreable ARH missiles that are capable of 180 turn. MICA, Derby also was able to pull that off, R77 probably as well.

Different engines, avionics, radar, IRST and so on. You're confusing it with late soviet modification test beds that were internally known as Т-10М, initially they were proposed as Su-27M, but in the 90s were renamed to Su-35 to attract export sales (not Su-35s/БМ, those came way later), that's why they are quite often mistaken for one another. One is a handfull (a dozen or so) of very different raw prototypes frome late 80s - early 90s, the other one is a mass produced serial aircraft from late 00s.

The R77 has more absolute range and pulls harder than the AMRAAM. But its grid fins lead to it bleeding a ton of speed while its maneuvering
fun trivia here, those grid fins do not generate dragg at specific speeds, the ones the missile usually get at, not modeled in game tho
In the dev stream i think they said the solid line on the radar indicates the missile radar range
