One of the best ninja experiences available. A must play if you are even remotely are interested in stealth games. It get especially smooth the better you get breaking down sections of the game. My personal tip on getting a high score is far easier by avoiding kills oddly enough. It really changes the way you approach the game and manages to really push you. Small note you can use the mark (its a focus button forcing you to sit still to spot enemies afar preferably in cover) to help with the new game plus fog of war also its really fun to use to just push the game to a silly degree with skipping entire sections should you get good enough at utilizing it.
Whenever I play a stealth game for the first time I tend to ghost it, no kills, no detection. Then when I beat it I'll go back and try other play styles without any guilt. I did this with Dishonored and Splinter Cell and then Mark of the Ninja.
I agree with the content so far, not perfect at all but is quite underrated, it even aged quite good, about the video not much feedback here, great edition, using the font from the game gives a very nice touch, my only complain would be a small clarity issue, when you listed the ways to score points, it kinda blends with the background, still readable, just the game behind keep getting my attention, adding blur to the gameplay during this list can add this clarity , but nothing else to say, I hope you make more of these
Totally agree about it being the best stealth game, especially when conveying information to the player. And I agree with the criticisms. Would love to see more games get this treatment.
i get the impression that azai's move to steal technology might not be out of greed or personal gain but because the flowers, the clan's single biggest source of leverage over any other faction, have been dead for years (i think this is why azai enphasises the "survival" of the clan a lot). we know from the DLC that the flowers are safeguarded by a faction of bandits, who challenged the hisomu once, until dosan took care of it. the bandits safeguarded the flowers and the hisomu gave the bandits and their "supplies" (most likely other drugs they're dealing) "protection". back then the flowers were still alive. the bandits must have intentionally let them die as a way to get back at the hisomu, which partly could have been azai's fault, maybe he didn't foresee such an event or maybe he was too soft on the bandits. i feel like our guy should have known what he was getting in from the start and he most likely did. the clan would not survive without any other means of leverage and the next leverage they could get their hands on was technology. but we only see his perspective the moment he got his first mark and by then he already was hallucinating ora, and almost didn't seem to know why he was fighting the hessian (we as the player were never filled in on it). i'd imagine the ink had been acting on him the moment he got his first mark. i still wonder why azai put up a fight first and only later surrendered. maybe he didn't want to lose more of his people and maybe he saw it as the only chance to save the clan. he had always stood for the clan's survival, so i don't think he's really the bad guy that our protagonist thinks him to be. i think sacrificing yourself might be the better option because the ink actually corrupted our protagonists mind. there's no question about it. it does not seem like a tall tale the hisomu spurred up to keep someone with the mark in check because we know for a fact that he is getting stronger and stronger hallucinations as the game progresses.

If a game ever deserved a sequel, it would be Mark of the Ninja.
The video is really good. Great job!

Great video! Was a pleasure to watch! Why didn't you caover the DLC though?
Even better than dishonored 2? This game is amazing, but personally I have to give it the title of #2 stealth game
Dishonored 2 definately is a lot of fun although one thing mark of ninja has over it is lighting speed load times.
@@theepicduck6922 If you're referring to visuals, any game with higher detail is gonna take longer to load
