Originally your video grabbed my attention based on the project as you were starting. That however quickly changed my focus less on the project and more at literally laughing out loud the longer I stayed with it. 🤣🤣🤣 Oh and btw I loved the results although I’d probably taken a couple of different steps then you did. But still an amazing piece once it was done. My son plays guitar so you actually gave me an idea. 👍👍👍

Thanks! I'm glad at least one person is amused by my foolishness!

If you ever decide to make one of these again, slight piece of advice. 1) get a bandsaw. I cringed seeing you cut that guitar off at the table saw. 2) Using said bandsaw, slice about 1/8th inch off the top (more or less, depending on the charger strength). Next, drill a hole & use your scroll saw to cut out the circle for the charger (might as well do the port while you're at it.) Then glue the top back on. I've made a few of these over the years and that is by far the fastest & safest way I've found to do it.

Excellent points all around Charles!! I agree! Unfortunately a band saw is a bit out of budget right now, but hopefully the people will start buying more socks from me and I can afford one soon. Thanks for watching!!

LOL this was hysterical. You realize the message you wrote inside got remove via the router. End product looked great.

Haha yeah I did realize that. The real reasoning behind the hidden message is to annoy my friends and family because I might (or might not) be writing things about or directed to them. But yeah, you are the first person to pick up on that and tell me, so good work!

i cherish my skin tags! your humor is great. After generating enormous income from your book sales on skin quotes, you should invest in a CNC machine to make the inlays easier. Glad to see that you cut out a circular circle instead of a circled square.

Good on you for cherishing those skin tags!! A cnc and a laser are like my two dream tools. Of course I gotta wait for the book to be published first though. And in regards to the circles, I'm homeschooled, so all shapes are basically interpretive. They are whatever we say they are.
