Wooden Leg Woodworking
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 6 พ.ย. 2021
Just a Random 18 year old dude who does woodworking as a hobby. I started woodworking when I was fourteen and have since expanded my skills and tool chest as the budget allowed. This is something I want to do for a long time to come. If you like poorly edited videos of some confused kid trying to make stuff, then you are in the right place.. Feel free to buy the items I make on my Website, linked below.
New Doctrine in Woodworking Explored: Patchwork Standing Desk
#woodworking #finewoodworking
Sub count, 1434
Crafting a patchwork wooden standing desk for myself. I utilized a large quantity of various wood scraps that were laying around the shop and glued them together in a random patchwork pattern over the course of several weeks and 30 separate glue ups. This was the first thing i ever crafted for myself, and I am quite pleased with the results.

My First (and last) ever furniture restoration. Tea Cart Restoration
มุมมอง 1.1K11 หลายเดือนก่อน
Sub count, 1286 This is my least favorite project of all time. I purchased an old beat-up tea cart at a thrift store at the start of the year, and then dragged my feet for the next 6 months sanding, painting, and repairing the tea cart, which started out in absolute shambles. Despite all my whining about hating furniture restorations, there was a joy i found in taking an old tea cart and giving...

Rough Slab to 10 Foot Conference Table; Full build timelapse
มุมมอง 369ปีที่แล้ว
Sub Count 1052 (1029 23) Full build timelapse taking a rough cut slab and using my mediocre woodworking techniques to turn it into a (potentially) beautiful conference table. The full build took me over 150 hours of work to complete, so don't be deceived by how fast the timelapse makes it look. The slab measured 10 feet by 30ish inches, and I used roughly 6 gallons of epoxy to fill the voids an...

Sub Count 1048 (1025 23) Messy woodworking garage shop tour in 2023. My woodworking shop is a complete wreck. This video documents the chaos, hopefully giving me a baseline for improvements and upgrades in the future, and the motivation to finally do some work to make my woodshop more organized and less of a total disaster. I hope you enjoy the video. My website woodenlegwoodworking.com My Inst...

I built a slab table without any table building experience! Epoxy Slab Table part 4
มุมมอง 337ปีที่แล้ว
Sub count, 950 (23 927) This part four of a four part series in which i attempt to build a fancy epoxy slab table in my garage with fairly basic woodworking tools, and no experience building a table, let alone a 10 foot conference table. in this video i spend a ridiculous amount of time sanding the table, applied a finish to the bottom of table, put a roundover on all the square edges of the sl...

How thick of wood do you use
Do you haver a fingers medical plan?
Just found your channel, love your style! Btw, any idea when will the next video be?😎
cool
As long as you don't go naked gun 2 1/2 Corny , I would continue to watch and perhaps earn my subscription. Don't get anal in your videos . Me i enjoy funny whitted humor. You be you.
Why do you have your lathe sideways?
I like the humorous narrative style. I make wooden keychains with eyelets too but worry they’ll get pulled out later. Have you had any issues or feedback on that?
What was the last bottle of something you place on wood? A sealer?
Never been a wood working guy. Stumbled across your channel. Im hooked!
You gotta keep making videos man. Lol
A very interesting pen blank, it was a lot of work. Maybe that is why I make some natural wood and a lot of acrylic pens. I also make cuff links from the scrap pieces.
>wireless charger >a wire sticks out
Bravissimo 🎉🎉
Nice job! Thanks for posting. I have to say your fingers so close to the blade made me nervous. Please be careful.
Thank the maker, someone on here finally realized it's okay to have a bit of fun while practicing their craft! And to that, I also noticed one comment below that said something about, "...the condition of your shop". Tut Tut Tut... if they are offended by a but of sawdust and the occasional flying clamp they may need professional help. After all, the effort it would take to keep one's shop in such a state would certainly rob the anal-retentive hun, of any joy. And it is from joy that creativity springs. BTW: Love the vids. Keep them coming. -Cheers
This was a great comment. Thank you for leaving it. I've been considering getting back into making videos and it think this may have pushed me over the edge. Give me a couple weeks and I'll see what I can cook up. Thanks for Watching!!
you're hilarious
Great job. Keep the videos coming! And to think, where there were once only 22, then 23, there are now over 1,550. Well Done You!
Originally your video grabbed my attention based on the project as you were starting. That however quickly changed my focus less on the project and more at literally laughing out loud the longer I stayed with it. 🤣🤣🤣 Oh and btw I loved the results although I’d probably taken a couple of different steps then you did. But still an amazing piece once it was done. My son plays guitar so you actually gave me an idea. 👍👍👍
THE WOODWORKING WIZARDS.....me Connor Lingo💵🏆🎃🚚💪
Awesome. Which feed n wax did you use? Love the result but there’s many types.
I believe it is the feed and wax from Howard. Thanks for watching!
This is the best audio I have ever listened to because I love cramming my brain with facts. Bravo 🎉🎉🎉
lower that table saw blade! You only need the blade just a little exposed above the material you are cutting.
Did not like the video. Kicking the pieces of wood out of the saw blade with your hands ,very dam and dangerous idea. Throwing away your equipment like this gives the impression that you don't care for it or the money they cost now a days . You must remember that any video posted is an instruction to any new beginner on the trade and they follow the example of the expert who posted the video. So in your next videos give the respect that this trade deserves.
Not only is he a clueless idiot, he's a smart ass as well. Guess he's just amping up his audience to get a bigger laugh when the machine eventually catches him out at a weak moment. Then we'll all have the last giggle and he'll get no sympathy either haha

I have seen this awhile ago and I still come back to this, I must say nice work you have to keep up the more video's!!
Very Very Nice Hey I need to say the tape we use is the silver metal duck tape that would of stop your leak but I'm sure you probably didn't have it laying around. And I have been waiting for more video's. I think your having a hard time getting people to see your videos because they want to see more often. You are a GREAT guy to see. A real hoot! I hope what ever you do in life your profitable and enjoy yourself! I hope you keep on woodworking! YOUR VERY GOOD AT IT!!!
More foolishness!
I cringed every time you used the table saw. Not because of the table saw, but because you used zero safety with it. At this rate you’re going to lose a finger, nick an artery, and/or get cancer (for not using a mask). PLEASE STOP AND LEARN SAFTY FIRST!
Fun video! What was the finish that you used?
I believe it was a mixture of polyurethane and boiled linseed oil
Very cute, you are a hoot, I will be back for sure. Stressful day has gone away Thanks
Hooray! Thanks for watching barb!
its only a matter of time before you loose a finger
Let the celebration begin!
Go find some Rabbits!!!😅😅😅😂😂😂
You know what they say, "if you see a rabbit, grab it!"
Love the look of these pens, but using your hands at the table saw like you did, and without a riving knife made me pucker up for days!
Quiver and clench like I always say!!!
Madder than a badger!! Hilarious, loved it. I hear Spielberg is impressed with your video skills too 😂😂
Spielberg might be knocking on my door any minute now! 😂
Mk 1 glue spreader is always best. Nice video, thanks for sharing
Thank you! Cheers!
It’s about time you make a video. After all the biscuits and planning and joining and gluing. It looks pretty good. Keep up the good work.
Thanks huge Charles! I always appreciate your viewership!
Yeah, hate when that happens. But your fix looks pretty good. Would take some work but maybe if you can space them out evenly and put more patches down the ends of the table. Tell them it’s a unique fastening system 😊
that is a craft scheme bob bob!
You did an excellent job my friend. I'm always impressed that you still have all your digits attached. :) keep up the good work.
Thank you Scott! I too am impressed that my hands still have fingers numbered 10
table looks nice and i really enjoy ur sense of humor! keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you for putting you HUMOR & SKILLS out for all to enjoy. These days BOTH are greatly needed! Sometimes I believe the humor may be more needed, so know if you ever have to choose between the two push out HUMOR first as we hobby woodworkers are a dime a dozen....... You can go back after the crisis and post any woodworks video you have saved in your head!
Thanks for dropping a comment! I'm quite pleased you enjoyed the video!
A) I have the same planer and it always tripped the breaker until I replaced the knives with a helical head cutter. B) Always entertained by your videos. C) The condition of your shop gives me diabetes 😅
A) Yeah, it can be a bother, but it usually is just a sign that my blades are dull and need to be replaced B) Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoy them!! C) It can be a scary place from time to time when I let it descend into madness. Thanks for Watching and Commenting!!
I had such a miserable time watching this… one of these days one of your silly little tricks will put you in the hospital!!!
Wooden arms!
It turned out nice... but... ... well... gah...
wooooooo yeah baby!!!!! that's what we've been waiting for! that's what it's all about!! woohooooo!
This is like watching a car wreck... watching in utter horror.... I'm only 3 minutes in...
Scrape!
is there certain types of wood that is better for this type of project how do you keep them from splitting or breaking apart if they get wet
no particularly better or worse woods so long as they are hardwoods. I've never had a problem with them splitting apart or even getting wet for that matter. I tend to stick to dry land, but if it ever becomes an issue you'll be the first to know.
Wow! That looks amazing! Kudos for building such an amazing table with minimal tools.
Thanks so much!! It was definitely an adventure and something I never want to do ever again with such minimal tools haha!
This made me laugh! Keep it up! And it looks like you are trying to give me a run for my money on sawdust remaining on the floor!
Haha glad you enjoyed it!! I have a rather efficient dust collector now, but sometimes I still miss wading through piles of sawdust 😂
Nice Job
Thanks Vince!
Enjoyed your video ans narrative, thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😁
