hey man I literally just downloaded blender today and I've been wanted to make a PS1 style game for awhile (specifically and rpg like legend of dragoon). And I was extremely intimidated by just all the tools. But watching your videos have motivated to push though that. So thank you so much
I wonder if this can generate large terrains (miles long) that I can fly over? I need to generate a large terrain of an alien planet for a music video I've been thinking about since 1983.
@@Gravitation3Beatles3I tried adding more geometry and expanded it somewhat, but I found the system becoming sluggish and viewport playback only 6FPS on a RTX3090. Maybe scaling without adding geometry is the ticket?
just saw this addon and it was amazing, but im having trouble on the grass. some image of the grass it shows black when I render in cycles, i think its a alpha problem instead of transparent it shows black, some grass is fine. any help? tried editing it but its hard too many nodes to understand.
Its so heavy, almost imposible to work with it for terrain creation. Mb some detailed parts of terrain or props. I cant even make those pieces tiileble because subdiv smoothing edges.
@@ClintochX in the description is says "Download the add-on here:" and the pinned comment calls it a plugin "To download the plugin for free, you need to enter $0 in the price field." I am new to blender and just don't understand how a node setup can be a plugin or addon, if anyone can explain I would be grateful :)
To download the plugin for free, you need to enter $0 in the price field.

how can I export the ground with the grass and the textures?
Can we add this in ANT Landscape?
hey is it possible to use this while preserving the shape of the edge of the original mesh?
I AM A NOOB, but is there any way to import this sort of terrain into unit to be used in games?

I wouldn’t see why not. If anything, just scale it up 10x or more. Then modify that

How do I export materials and textures to Unity?
How can I export the UV map of my terrain ???
Can I export to unreal
This looks amazing but how optimised is it?
It's pretty fast all things considered. Obviously its quite slow if you are editing the mesh in real time, but its bearable.
@@hackticdevEnough for a i3 1 core to handle?

I think you need to raise the number of transparency bounces in the render settings
@@federicoaguzzi7024thanks that works
how can I add this file to one of my projects?
how to use it ? it downloads a .blend file
Can I use in Unity. With wind effect?
The best way would be to add the grass in Unity and use the built in Unity grass wind effect.

i dont understand how this is an addon when its just a blender file
The video title didn't write add-on

@@ClintochXHe also says this is an add-on about 10 times in the video.
You're right that its not an addon in the strictest sense of the word :) I'm just calling it that for ease of explanation.
new to blender, for some reason i see no grass :( just plain ol rock
Inputting 0 doesnt work...can anyone send it ....
Its not very good way to make good optimized enviro. Its fast, thats right - but nothing else.
i got the 5$ price and the nodes does not look like that AT ALL
It's likely the creator has updated the addon since this video was made. Take everything with a grain of salt.
its not free
It is? You just put 0 dollars in the price field
@@hackticdev I figured it out, thanks.
its not free
