I stuck to this recipe up to when the broth and meat were added to the veggie roux, even made my own paste from a can of diced tomatoes, and she was upset i added a little dried thyme and no other seasonings! says shes a "purist" with some dishes, but ive been cooking for my folks for a few years now and have been trying to alter how much we spend from what we get from the store and to get everyone to a slimmer weight. If they are too tired to do anything workout related when they get home, dont want to try eating anything different enough from what we usually have or get ordered, and get criticism for trying to do things differently towards solving a problem, then why the hell am i cooking to begin with?
I am not a stew fan. However, I will try this recipe. Try using spell check. Do you really want us to use beef sock?? How many potatoes, and how much tomato paste?? Not on the ingredient list! 😵💫🥴🤨🕺
Worst beef stew clip so far. 1)Letting the meat burn on pan. 2)Rush cooking and not being specific about the ingredients. 3)Does not take more than 2hrs to let stew boil in medium heat. Too many errors on a simple stew. Worst video on beef stew so far.

The point of deglazing is collecting the flavours from the pan and adding complexity to the flavour. Enjoy your day and try to refrain from unnecessary passive aggression in your comments.

Yes wine goes pretty good with beef stew I also like to use 1/3 of a cup or 1/2 a cup of chipotle it goes very good with beef stew and I also had honey or sugar to level out the spiciness and trust me but if you had 2 tablespoons of barbecue its gonna be very good you should try it

In my opinion I’d add chiles or peppers during the searing of the vegetables section, or if you make your own beef broth you can add as much spice as you want during that time. Then the broth will be spicy already and you won’t need to add much to the final dish
Make a Mississippi chicken or roast in the Crock-Pot? If you don't mind it's cheaper and only five or six ingredients.... Just an idea stay safe and keep doing you...
Shoot I put my beef stew with a few whole tomatoes and little juice with all veggies raw in my pressure cooker it does all the work for me in perfection
One thing I failed to do was putting red wine too late, so I thought let's put it in the while it's in the crock pot and put on high. But nope, it was a bad move, and I should have skipped the red wine when it was already in the crock pot. Lol

You dont need to wait. Have a small meal while it cooks, do whatever you usually do while you're not eating, then once it's done have it for supper.
