    The machines in the background will be cutting particleboard, mdf, plywood or solid wood. Do you really need these heavy duty toolholders. If yes show us why? Show us the edge finish of solid wood

      You can cut all the materials you reference and more on the machine in the background, however, this video is meant to highlight the types of tools you could use on various CNC models. Certainly as you get to harder materials - solid wood, aluminum, plastics, etc. that is where some of these higher end tool holders have more benefit. We mainly want to make people aware that the tool holder can have a significant impact on performance from feed rates to edge finish. There are a number of videos on our channel that would show the edge finish with various holders. We would be happy to discuss your application further if you want to call in and talk to our tooling specialists. Perhaps we will do a follow-up to this video showing the difference in cut quality with these holders but keep in mind that much of the performance change is over time. Thanks for the comments
