Thx for taking us upstairs....didn't look there last visit. I prefer this Pande Putri to Popular or Artasedana. Grand Lucky is excellent too, but a bit less "local" than P.P. Just string up the tinsel over the garden plants Kim....or round pussy's neck! Tree can wait another year. Thx for our Bali fix, yet again.
We’ve hung the macrame christmas tree from the ac remote on the wall with some tinsel. It’ll do 😉

Love your work guys, what about nightlife ? Apart from Wicked Parrot and Casablanca what else is there for the late night lovers ? Do you guys ever let your hair down and party a little ? Live music bars on main road or the beach.
You’ll find live music at NyoNyo Warung in Jln Cemara, Tapha on the beach, Nesa Combi & Ulu Thai in Jln Tamblingan, Warung Little Bird, Warung Happy Monkeys, Pengkola in Jln Danau Toba, sunday night Crazy Horse at Griya Santrian on the beach, Friday (?) Beatles Tribute band at Segara the Seaside.
There’s live music at multiple restaurants & warungs all across Sanur.
Not bad for our sleepy Sanur, hey?? 🤭

It's a great supermarket. We shop there all the time. We even get their cooked food from the deli area. So yummy and cheap.

Pande Putri already exists some years before Grand Lucky. In earlier years it doesn't look so nice there, but maybe because of the opening of Grand Lucky the renovated everything. They still have a broad offer of products and they are cheaper than Grand Lucky. I like to shop there and did it many times.
And of course Pande Putri is worth a lie. 😂

Thanks for the recommendation of the Griya Nail bar for Lashes. They were awesome professional and inexpensive. Went to the Tootsie shop, but found that entire alley to be a little to much. We nicknamed it shark alley.
Tootsie restaurant on the beach was great, the chicken satay on the coals was superb. Thanks again for your advise. Cheers!

I have learned so much already ;) When you are at the supermarket again at some point, could you check out the availability of konjac noodles (slendia brand in Coles or Woolies in Australia) please. I am unable to eat wheat products so these are my life saver option when curry or pasta dishes are on the menu at home. Have you seen them as an option in any of the warungs/restaurants?

I’m pretty sure the major italian restaurants have gluten free pasta.

@bergsinbali No, it's not gluten that is the problem it's the whole grain. I have to eat a low carb diet as a result, so no breads, pasta etc, even too much rice can set me off 😔

@@bergsinbali We try to always visit a nearby supermarket when overseas to compere what's available and different to our local ones. For example, I buy bacon stock cubes in Bali as I can't find any here in Australia. Where we live in Maldon, Central Victoria, the selection is even worse so it's exciting to visit something new.
