- It's been 21 months (almost) since we landed in Indonesia to start our retirement life... and now it's time to head back to AUSTRALIA!

Kim, I met outside a supermarket in Jl Tamblingang and thanked you for introducing me to the local lady hiring out her scooter. She delivered the scooter along with her beautiful smile and behaviour. Bali is so so special. Thanks to you both for your vlogs.

Thx you guys… it will be fantastic to embrace family again…. As a veggie Rabbit, I would probably miss the local Bali Veggie restaurants …. Veggie restaurants here in Perth cost an arm and a leg. However like you Kim I would be browsing Target and Coles and dream about the cheapness here of dairy especially…blue vein cheese etc… Don’t forget to buy a toaster!

I just found you guys. It’s interesting to get an Aussies point of view living there. I’ve never been over that way yet. Maybe one day. There seems to be a lot of mould about on the buildings.
It’s the tropics 🤷♀️ There’s mould & condensation. Things that we wouldn’t live with in Australia are just part of living here 😊

Crunchie bars on special at Coles. You both look to be so comfortable with life in Sanur. I’ll be visiting that cafe when I’m back in Sanur next month, that little dog is a cutie. Safe travels.

We met up with you both about 3 weeks ago when we were in Sanur and we enjoyed our chat and coffee. I am not sure if we enjoy our enthusiasm for a Bunnings sausage sizzle as we will be cooking up 100's tomorrow for Lions. Just pop over the Nullabor and I will shout you both one each.

You will definitely feel the difference in temperature but the end of next week will be nice and sunny. Hopefully it will be in Geelong as well. Joy your time with family.

Was due to be in Sanur this week and hoped to catch up after our meeting in Feb. and this time with Connie as she has recovered from a knee replacement but had to cancel our flights as I've had a shoulder reconstruction. Hopefully we'll get there next Feb. ...and you've coped the rain and grey clouds like us in Melb.

Where did you get Doncaster from Nick? They're from Geelong. And you can get the best potato cakes for $1 each at the Lock Ard Drive milk bar in Torquay. Enjoy!
@elscotto9551 that's nice to know, mate, but I live in reservoir so I'll have to settle with what's on offer at the local fish shop . Torquay is a beautiful part of Victoria,, I love it's front beach and esplanade 🙂. I will definitely visit the Lock and drive milk bar on my next visit

I've lived in Geelong for 63 years and its crap, the foods awful and the people are horrible. You won't be able to get back to Bali quick enough
Got back to Australia from 2 weeks in Bali found it totally overrated. Would say to anybody that wants to find a way better location in Asia go to Nha Trang in Vietnam 10x better than Bali.

I was exactly the same as you in regard to food when I lived in Hong Kong and was heading home to Oz. I had a list as long as my arm of food I wanted to eat there and food I wanted to bring back.
