Nice job, Jeffrey ! 👏🏼 🎉 Most "techTubers" focus their content almost exclusively on the Galaxy Sxx Plus & Ultra lines, so it's refreshing to see a creator show love to the still very-capable base models. I love that Sammy (finally) upgraded the S24 & S24 Plus to OLED displays, and that on balance, the cameras are improving bit by bit each year !
At this moment, I think S23 is a better option to buy. The differences between S23 and S24 are no bigger, and right now, you can have the S23 for half of the price.
In holland S24 is now 650 euros at providers and 690 at webshops, the s23 can be had for 550. I think the natural color and overal look is better on S24, very important to me at least. With S24, finally Samsung camera's have that pixel and apple look, a bit now, without loosing the Samsung strengths. Also its amazing how much better the zoomed-in parts (beyond 3X) are in S24, but that's still gimmicky anyway. Other then that the S24 has slightly bigger battery (and exynos 2400 really did catch up too!) , slightly bigger ltpo screen. Mind you the S23 gets 4 OS updates and the S24 gets 7(!) OS updates. S23 gets its final update to Android 17 in 2028, while S24 gets its final update to Android 21 in 2030! S24 no-brainer now!

Interesting to see how small the difference actually is considering they are 4 generation and 3 years apart. Sure the S23 and S24 have more balanced colors, overall less noise and have a slightly better and faster focus, but the difference is not that big to justify an upgrade by itself. The biggest difference is in video, but I believe most users are far more interested in photo than video.

I had S22+ and S23U. S22+ was a kind of OK, not bad but I did not expect too much from it. But S23U was a big let down. I like taking pictures of nature in it was totally unusable in Auto mode. Too much HDR and especially too much sharpening, the pictures (foliage, grass...) did not look natural at all. But Pro mode was much better. The pictures in Pro looked very natural the only issue was too small dynamic range, blue sky often deteriorated to white because the dynamic range was lacking. Now I am thinking about buying S24. I like that they reduced the artificial sharpening, which is what totally killed S23U for me. It could finally work...

El zoom desde 1.1x en adelante es digital, solo que a partir del 2.0x recorta con el sensor de mayor resolución
