This year, Samsung introduced good chipse, but they need some time to mature, and I believe that a company the size of Samsung can do that.

A very important note that many TH-camrs ignore and no one talks about: the importance of cleaning the lenses before taking photos. I'm not talking about wiping your cell phone on the fabric of your shirt, but rather using an authentic microfiber cloth, or even better: the cotton pad that we use to clean our faces, soaked in ALCOHOL. This is extremely important as the alcohol removes any layer of grease on top of the glass, leaving the glass completely clean after drying. It is important that people who choose to use microfiber cloth wash this cloth at least once a week, otherwise it will just be spreading the grease instead of absorbing and removing it. Apple's microfiber cloth ends up being a great option for those who live in countries where the cloth is relatively cheap (not the case in Brazil, for example, where the Apple cloth costs 15,51% of the minimum wage). That said, as an S23 owner, I will say that testing the S24 seemed questionable: at minute 5:29 it is possible to see in the S24 photo a light leak that can only be caused by a lens dirty with finger grease. That flare line indicates a dirty lens, and this really interferes with the final result of the photos, and can easily cause blurring. This does not mean that the S24's blurry results were caused by this dirt, but this is a hypothesis that cannot be ruled out. Clean your camera lenses!

Oh my god. The noise cancellation of the S24 makes you almost inaudible. Tanjas singing on the other hand sounds amazing, but not better than on the S23. It is kind of awkward for the S24 that there is so little improvement over its predecessor. I think I will simply get the S23 on its now disounted price.
Anyways. Nice video! Moch weida so Bua!^^

I just needed to upgrade from my s22 tbh. The phone is fast enough for sure but the battery life annoys me. Sadly the S24 didn't have the spec upgrades I'm looking for, the plus does but it's too big for me. I found a good deal for the s24 and will probably trade it in for the S25 if that has the specs I want (12gb ram for example)

That's why my main phone is Xperia 5 V now. The thing is phone batteries degrade 20 percent every year so if your phone only holds a day battery in a year or two it won't last the whole day. I'm not so sure if Samsung will change anything and upgrade the battery capacity in the next gen unfortunately.

Excellent video. I have the S20 FE and recently bought the S23 5G. Honestly, the sound of my S20 FE that is a few years old is fuller, especially in the bass. I believe that the noise cancellation of the S23 5G is greater and therefore becomes more robotic as well. About the camera, as a photographer that I have been for years, I always prefer optical zoom to hybrid zoom and in this case, I would give the S23 Ultra as the winner, even if it has a little more noise in the photos... S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra I think are the best smartphones today. Hugs from Brazil.

depends. Only on heavy 4g/5g radio usage thers some noticeeable drain difference (exynos modem) , but otherwise (video, wifi, speed) the S24 is better, even battery wise. Exynos catches up every year. S7 for instance better performance then any qualcomm at the time. After that it went down hill. But in my experience its uphill now, and the difference is marginal, but in peoples heads its bigger. For instance, performance wise and heat wise the exynos 2200 in my S22 ultra was extremely good and stable. SD888 or Sdgen 1 anyone 🤮? Cooking plates

    • @Zuudloarn

@ronkvogel939 Exynos 2400 is not a bad chip, hope it still is after a while. At least it's much better than Exynos 2200 which was an absolute battery drainer in S22. Better WiFi 7 only in S24 Ultra. The Ultra also has the better SD 8 gen.3. I think the Snapdragon is more expensive for Samsung but they should at least give buyers a choice with a 900 dollar phone 🤷‍♂️

If it had an SD 8 gen 3 would have been nice but that gets indeed reserved for the S24 Ultra. Seems Samsung is so happy to differentiate ..😐 Anyway many good review results from e2400 made me go for S24. One can say e2400 has better efficiency then SD gen 2.
(agree on e2200 battery drain, it was horrible on my S22, gave Samsung a call and they made me "exchange" it for an S22U, including 15% discount on it. On S22U the battery backup was already better (better heat dissipation and ltpo screen, 5000mAh helps too).

Today I was out with my son and took 164 pictures and two 4k videos on my S24+ exynos. I was really disappointed with the outcome. No consistency at all. The pictures and videos for me were better on my S23 regular I had before I got this phone. Only some of the pictures I'm ok with but expected so much more. Even the oppo find x5 which I used for a weekend last year was much better and consistent than this S24+ exynos trash. I watched a video earlier about uploading 4k videos on social media and the exynos was over 3 times slower than the 8gen3 ultra. The guy restarted the phone and it was worse. This is real world usage. I really want to keep this phone but so annoyed with the outcome today and obviously the uploading trash. I still have 9 days to change my mind and give it back for an exchange. I'll probably lose the free galaxy s6 watch aswell. Unfortunately the double your storage deal aswell as I have the 512g S24+ from preorder. The ultra now comes with free galaxy buds 2pro and a smart tag but I won't pay extra for 512g. I think the ultra will be a lot better and reliable especially in the years to come. Only trouble is I prefer the S24+ design. Just thought I'd also mention that the battery seems to be getting better on the exynos after 4 days of use. I went out for 3 hours taking those pictures and videos also going on social media here and there and got home with 76% battery. It also didn't heat up at all as one of the 4k videos was nearly 3 minutes long.

@techmo2020 trouble is I never had any issues like this on the S23 regular last year at all. Haven't seen any complaints about the ultra from anyone yet because maybe there won't be any especially with the camera quality. I really love the design of my S24+ and prefer it to the ultra but thinking of changing it for the ultra just for peace of mind 8gen3!

The reality is that Crapsynox have the worst picture processing, that's the problem. That why i didn't buy One here in EU.
Results with Exynos chipset vs Snap s24 are way different, Snapdragon S24 takes better pictures than S23, and opposite Crapxynos 2400, take's trash shots compared to S23, just like it is Nerfed.

@qvorbogdanov3840 I think you are right! It's horrible being in this situation. I prefer the feel, design and weight of the S24+ over the heavier boxier ultra and am so annoyed samsung didn't give snapdragon globally like they did last year with the S23 models. Tbh from the majority of videos I have watched, the S23 models are better than the S24 models except for the S24+ screen. Absurd really. Not everyone is talking about how much better this S24 is than the S23. The S23 last year was so good and everyone was loving all the models.

The noise cancelation on s24 is ugly, I hope an update will fix it. But try to listen to the audio when zooming in, most phones have worse audio recording when using the telephoto lens or zooming in generally. I don't know if a "zoom microphone" is applied, but you can hear the audio changing definitely. Can you try it out please? 🙂 Thanks

S24 has everything better than S23 except telephoto lens and flat corner
The s23 has rounded corner which I good for long term use while S24 can cause pain soon Samsung left practicality for trendy iPhone type corner 😀
