Never under any circumstance walk into a strangers home even if they invite you in. Someone could literally be hiding in there with a double barrel shotgun ready to point it at your head! It's always best to meet people in a public area with backup waiting because you never know what's about to go down.

There are defensive laws that help you when you shoot someone but you can’t go on the street and shoot someone for asking questions and the police say okay cool that’s not how it works. From Florida too. They start a case- you have to prove you were legally justified and if there’s any question they take you to trial. They take your gun, there’s a whole investigation. If you aren’t being threatened or scared you can’t just shoot people for any reason in Florida. Google it. That’s not true. Jeffrey thought his improv acting would make him look like an innocent victim of a scam but the red flags were flying all over the place the second he opened the door!
1. When he first opened the door he was very nervous and started acting dumb about the package yet admitted he was expecting a package.
Once he admitted he knew it was from Ryan Benson, and then Ryan Benson came around the corner, from the garage, he about shit his pants and that's when he thought the guys were undercover agents and he just got busted.... Thats why he said, "ill tell you right now, come in"
Then played ignorant and innocent of everything before the guys even told him anything about why they were there.
Then he said, "I don't know what it is" without being asked if he knew... he was still thinking the guys were undercover agents. He was going to spill the beans if they were agents but once he realized they weren't, he got pissed and the intimidation started. All of this within 60 seconds of opening the door.
2. His improv intimidation was way, way too rehearsed. and he kept repeating the same thing over and over.... A real murderer just kills, they don't just keep repeating it.

I've hung around a lot of people like the guy who almost shot you. Trust me, if you were in danger he would've killed you. He wasn't going to drop three guys with cameras & hidden cameras in the same house his children are in.

He said he was ex military, I don't think he knew what was happening tbh. I think he was mad about the situation, they should've said I understand your anger, but let me explain this to you. He was probably mad that he was on camera {which I'm glad they did, for their protection} that's what these scammers do, my brother was a cash mule, but didn't know it, because he thought he was working for a legit company that was posing as the US parcel services.
I'm so glad you guys are ok and safe. It's great you are doing this and confronting these scammers, but be careful because some people would kill for money or kill to keep their crime a secret. I wish the police and FBI would bust all these horrible people scamming people out of their hard earned money.

This guy sounded like the kind of guy who is stereotypically trying to sound tough. If he was innocent or not, can't say, but he's definitely different than how he portrayed.
Serious crims are very cunning and only 16 year old wannabe gangsters are dumb enough to start threatening killing people in front of strangers. Its quite obvious he's not innocent. He continued his bravado through the whole thing. He wasn't interested in what the guys were saying. He was too busy trying to remind them how he "almost killed" them by telling this to the person on the phone in front of them. He was so angry inside because hes being confronted in his own home and its such an inconvenience for him. All he cared about was if his neighbours saw anything. He is SO guilty.

He's an egomaniac brawler who got pushed out his comfort zone by two strangers knocking on his door confronting him, yelling scam, whilst his kids are around and neighbors could see. The double life he lives is apparent between his kids and his neighbors, and given the nice neighborhood and house they live in - judging by his brash appearance, he did not MBA his way to that postal code.

No MBA required, no illegal activities either. He’s a regular guy who is involved in some shady stuff, but is not nearly as savvy as you seem to think he is. If this guy was a career criminal, they would have never been able to leave with that video footage. Especially because they have proof of him threatening someone he willingly invited into his home. Florida laws aren’t going to protect him from that one, so he’s lucky the police weren’t involved. He didn’t even ask them what they planned to do with the footage.
This man is as green as they come, but he was definitely in on the scam. This is likely his first or second time doing this. He does not know what he’s doing, and it’s obvious. He got in over his head thinking he was some scamming genius, and when he got caught, he tried to use intimidation and play victim. And you fell for it. He texted his friend while he was upstairs, told him he was caught, and that he was going to try to intimidate them, so he should just play along. And it worked! Well, it worked on you, at least. Everyone else in the comments seems to have picked up on his false bravado. People who are actually dangerous don’t have to continually remind you that they’re dangerous. You’ll feel it.
