For putting it on my back, I turned my base over so the tree side is up and then turned the seating section towards me so it can hook itself over the base. Then you don’t need the bungee cords and is a little quicker/quieter when setting up 👍🏼 great video
Fantastic - thanks so much, man! This is exactly the video I was needing - totally appreciate your expertise, you taking the time to make this and your great attitude!
You're very welcome Chris! I really appreciate you watching and supporting my channel. Thanks for the comment as well, goodluck hunting and using your climber 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I also use ladder stands for observation. Early in the season I sit in them and watch for deer movement and use a climbing stand to go to where I've seen deer.
one thing to note. you want to strap the top part to the tree when you reach your desired height. it comes with a strap for that. you can also use that strap to cinch the bottom of the two parts together for backpacking.
No, I clicked on because I hunted out of Goliath for years, and other for decades. And just wanted to share with you how I hunt now. I have gotten busted by a lot of animals trying to get a shot over the years. The stand would make the tree cry when I shifted my weight or make some creak or squeak. Just part of it right. 2 happy days in my life was when I bought it and when I sold it. No bs, not here to make you mad and I hope I don't. Just give the S.M.A.R.T. one stix method a look see. Video of it (One Stixing like a BOSS). I subscribed, and hope 30k is just the start. Good luck.
I don’t know what you got going on to have the stand sticking so far off your back but the bottom platform slides into the seat platform. You can bring the seat under and bungee to the to the top so it can be used as a back cushion while carrying. Also, always put the seat platform on the tree first so you can slide it up high and out of the way.
Your videos are great. You are working hard, regularly uploading videos for viewers to enjoy. Thanks ! But your videos are currently not getting many views. Because many subscribers are not getting reach and engagement on the videos. What are you thinking about growing your TH-cam channel more?
LISTEN UP: I had the bottom fall away from me. Somehow got the bottom up to my feet again (after hanging by my arms) and thought I had it firm against the tree to step on it. Wrong. My weight broke the cheap plastic buckles on the straps that connect the top to the bottom. I didn't have my harness connected to the tree so down i went and broke my back and split my scalp open on a rock. Spent the next week in a trauma unit. GUYS, REPLACE THOSE CHEAP STRAPS WITH ROPE OR CABLE AND CONNECTORS STRONG ENOUGH TO SUPPORT YOUR WEIGHT PLUS YOUR EQUIPMENT... AND NEVER DISCONNECT FROM THE TREE TIL YOU ARE AT THE GROUND.
I’m glad you’re okay man! And yeah you definitely want to be careful out there, it can be dangerous if you don’t have the right connections and stuff. Appreciate the comment 🙌🏼
There are a bunch of other videos that show how to climb with the Summit stand that are much more detailed than this video. Nice try though. Keep learning.
First of all, you didn’t attach any safety harness that you should be wearing. when you climb up the tree. you’re supposed to attach yourself to the tree that’s number one before you start climbing .you’re teaching people how to climb a tree without a safety harness! You also didn’t show anybody how your feet are attached to the bottom of the stand when you climb and you’re supposed to sit your ass on the top part of the stand on that bar in the back.🤷🏼♂️🤦♂️Smh
There is a better way to climb , put your butt on the rear of the upper piece sit on it and bring you feet up, sit and raise the lower part!ans continue that method is much easier!!!!
You are 100% correct!! I’ll have to mention that In my next video. I appreciate you watching and supporting. I actually do that method all the time 👍🏻👍🏻
It's like surfer boy meets deer hunter! LOL Great video!
Haha Yeah that's what most people say it funny!! Thanks for watching and supporting my videos
Fur shur……🤣
Ha! If you bump the playback speed up to 1.5 he actually talks normal. Just try it.
Okay thanks ill try it!!
1.25 worked better

I’ll have to try that out man!! Thanks so much for washing and giving me some advice, you’re the best 🙋🏻♂️
I used My dad’s climber a couple times when we lived in PA. Takes leg muscles man!
Used it to scale trees in his backyard also to trim his trees
Haha yeah gotta have strong legs to get up!! Thanks for watching I appreciate you 🙋🏻♂️
I have climbed many a tree with my Summit Viper. I have been able to be really quiet and quick over the years.
Yeah I’ve very quiet when climbing the trees haha thanks so much for watching 🙏🏻
you think with the Hazmore seat you could shoot a compound bow from a sitting position? I feel it would raise you up even with the top rail. Thanks
I’m not 100% about that tbh! I normally always stand when shooting out of my climber because the railing 👍🏻
I got one 2 years ago, and I love it. Just bought another one for my son
That’s so cool to hear!! I really appreciate you watching and dropping a comment. Hope your son shoots a big buck out of it 💪🏼

That’s a clever idea man! Never thought to do that, I appreciate the comment 💪🏼💪🏼
About how old is that one?
And how much does it possibly weight?
I think I got this one around 10-15 years ago and it’s super lightweight

I hunt in cold weather. When I get up the tree I'm so sweaty that I end up freezing after a few hours.

You know it’s climber tree stands are the best 💪🏼💪🏼
Just saw this video. You might want to scrap the top part of the stand to the tree. You might also want to get a safety harness and a lanyard.
Scrap the top part of the stand to the tree? What do you mean haha and I have a safety harness, I just didn't use it in the video
is this not the goliath?
Tbh I’m not exactly sure! I bought that like 15 years ago 😂
