@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors I was really torn between the Ion and Rubicon. I am 6’2” and like the idea of the extra room but like you said your not up there dancing 😂
@@brianhetherly3332 yeaaaa there’s a fine like between big and too big haha. That rubicon honestly is the perfect mixture of both. It’s big but not big enough to be cumbersome
That is a similar design to my Treewalker. It's too bad Treewalker went out of business when the owner died, I should have bought two. Removable bar across the front, built in footrest, net seat and not that silly hanging style seat that pinches your legs, and no straps needed to nest the top and bottom together, it is a press fit. If i were to ever buy a Summit it would be this or the open shot, but never a fixed bar across the front.
I feel like this is great option for bigger hunter like myself that the lone wolf and xop climbers are tight and perfect for hunting with long bow gets out the way
You should check out and do a review of the mini viper. It only weighs 18lbs which is about what the xop ambush weighs and still has the comfort that summit is known for.
My problem with these summits is the seats I’m a bigger dude and I’m always having to adjust and lean forward because my back is against the back bar of the stand
Thank you for your time and information you shared with me at the show.
@@cooterbrown1703 hey man anytime!
Great video. Can’t believe Summit added a foldable bar and $150 to the regular Summit price tag.
Thanks for the review. I like the idea but I think I’ll just keep using my viper hand climber. Received my Rubicon, can’t wait to try it!
@@brianhetherly3332 let us know what you think I love them! And thank you for watching!

Like this! The only “negative” I see is the bottom doesn’t have the flip out extension for your feet. Like on my Viper SD.
@@bertnichols6335 agree!
Whats your fav caliber for deer? Brand new to deer hunting this year.

@@joeconner8272 the xop climber dropping in October is bigger than their old one by ALOT! However I completely agree with you

Please do a review of the new xop reaper! I would really like to see one in action before buying one when they release them on their website
Can you put a footrest on it??
When can we expect the new XOP climber to be out?
@@Easternandoutward the rifle climber will be out in the next few months will be making an announcement in January about the super lightweight one
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors thanks man I never got this TH-cam notification and end just checking the video and it was here
I may have to buy one of these. I would take the bar off and never put it back on.

Could you do one on XOPs new saddle Mutant

Be nice for them to make a climber for people with cmt which is a muscular disease cause my feet drop down with out any weight on them

Adjust the seat higher so you rest on the tree

Kinda wondered why it took summit until 2024 to figure out everybody wants a removable front bar, lol.
