Not sure if you're aware of this, but when Titanfall 2 was being developed, most of the developers were classic COD developers that worked on COD4 and MW2. This is why Titanfall 2 has such amazing arcade-y gameplay.

Storytime: Back when I used to play this game more frequently, if I ever played it like an hour or two before whatever my bedtime was for the evening, there was a zero percent chance I'd fall asleep that night because i'd be so fucking FIRED up after playing. One day at the gym with a friend, I took a very small amount of a pre workout powder because I never tried it before (I have a low tolerance for caffeine). I then made the mistake of playing titan-fall 2 as I'm peaking off of what had to be literal cocaine. I have never felt more adrenaline in my life, I felt like God. Because I mixed those two things together I then proceeded to not sleep for 24 hours because of how straight up AMPED I was. Great fucking night. Thanks for coming to my ted talk
This game is so good because it gives you so many ways to win. When I was a wee little girl, circa 2017, I’d come home from school and boot up Titanfall 2. I had huge issues with fine motor control (it got better primarily because of the need to get better at Titanfall), and so I would rebind melee to right click and play on that 30 Hz monitor, and top the scoreboards sometimes without firing a single bullet. The simple freedom of grapple let me go on melee sprees that I still have dreams about. This game has probably done more to shape my life than any other singular thing, and I’m so glad for the way it went.
@@emberthecatgirl8796 That is actually a super sick story wow. Playing on 30hz too is nuts. That frame handicap probably ended up helping you in the long run to get better. Your story made me think of this cool ass marketing campaign in a parallel world where TF2 commercials are presented like those drug commercials, and there's real testimonials like yours of people improving their life because of it or some shit. Unfortunately we don't live in that world BUT another idea that is more realistic, you should absolutely tell that story in a TH-cam video, that would go hard and I think people would dig it.

Titanfall has always been one of my most favorite games from my childhood. I remember going to gamestop to get Titanfall 1 the day it came out. Everything about Titanfall 1 & 2 was perfect for me.
This game was in my opinion one of the best shooters of all time. In my eyes this was the only actual movement shooter. The gameplay was simply incredible, a good player was fucking terrifying, titans are dope asf. Everything about it was just badass always. Miss the hell out of it. Remember simply switching weapons and adapting to a whole new playstyle. You could learn so many different ways to play, it was so fun.

You can, just stop playing other trash and play TF|2. The problem is everyone says this, then everyone goes and plays something else instead. That is where the problem is. I've been on North Star for like 2+ years now playing daily. And ONLY NOW are content creators finally making videos on it. (There have been other creators obviously but recently been a MAJOR uptick in NorthStar videos/content creators) So hopefully all these creators finally picking it up will boost it quite a bit, the downside is since its a private server and the game isn't exactly SUPER alive, most people won't play it. People these days want to make content even people with no views and playing a super old game that doesn't have much relevance with casual audiences anymore isn't the way to get views unfortunately. So even if it gets big for a little while, it won't last.

You can this influx and its fun for the new people for around a month I know I got addicted but the issue is when the new players start leaving and the skill gap increases. As well as content, there isn't enough to keep players entertained. I love TF2 and its an amazing game but it won't ever be big. If they bring out TF3 and keep support it will go insane.

Im happy to see everyone giving love to titanfall now. I played a little with my friend when it came out but never got really into it until a year ago after playing apex
I had no clue that this game had a client, I had nearly a thousand hours in Titanfall 2 but stopped because the PC game had the same issues that BO3 currently has, people were able to DDOS you and inject you with viruses. Wish they just made Titanfall 3 instead of Apex, but this is a nice consolation prize.
I wholeheartedly recommend watching the 1.5 hour movement tutorial. You have the aim of a pro, so if you could chain movement with your godly target aquisition, you could really stomp lobbies.

Titanfall would still be thriving if EA didn’t refuse to fix the servers he said the game didn’t do well, but it has an extremely dedicated community to this day.
Wish this game could live again. I loved it back when it first came out and loved the campaign to heart. Even multiplayer (which I was ass at, I literally had to use the grapple bc I couldn’t use the movement correctly) was so much fun and getting a titan was so addicting. Glad to see it still alive and well since I haven’t heard that many great things about northstar as of recent and hope I can hop on it in the future.

im glad i got a chance to grind this game with friends in like 8th or 9th grade, it was unique and so much fun playing because it didnt take itself incredibly serious, you can hop on and mess around while still having a blast

I remember years ago when it was huge my older brother asked me to play and I declined cause it looks clunky and weird (he was playing tvt so I didn't get to see pilot movement) but one day earlier this year I looked at the case and went "Why not" and I played the campaign all day mainly just replaying the back in time bit and when that came up I already had high expectations because my brother kept gassing it up but my expectations were blown away when I played it the game itself is amazing and a bit after I beat the campaign I played multi-player and I'm glad I came when I did cause the servers were just fixing themselves up and it felt so good I love high movement in games and i love the titans they are so cool my favorite one has to he scorch or ronin

I dont think ive ever been happier watching a titanfall 2 video this game multiplayer and campaign wise is my favorite and has been for a very long time to see a big creator like this is really enjoyable
Titanfall 2 is the best arena shooter created by our species. Sadly, humans are stupid, and didn’t realize what they were missing out on.

Jev needs to play the campaign and play some MP from time to time. He would genuinely love it.
I remember back in the day when it first came out I tried so hard to convince all my friends to get titanfall instead of the new CoD and BF. Out of 18 people only 1 other person got it with me. I was having an amazing time, but it would've been great if everyone got to experience it too.
Same. I could never convince anybody and it pissed me off because all the CoD players were complaining about Infinite Warfare that year, and still refused to buy Titanfall. Incredibly dumb
Titanfall would still be thriving if EA didn’t refuse to fix the servers he said the game didn’t do well, but it has an extremely dedicated community to this day.
Wish this game could live again. I loved it back when it first came out and loved the campaign to heart. Even multiplayer (which I was ass at, I literally had to use the grapple bc I couldn’t use the movement correctly) was so much fun and getting a titan was so addicting. Glad to see it still alive and well since I haven’t heard that many great things about northstar as of recent and hope I can hop on it in the future.

Oh my god I almost cried when you posted this. I love Titanfall 2 so much but simply can’t play it anymore cause of the servers. Seeing people like you make titanfall content brings me back. I’m praying the north star client can make its way to PlayStation some how. Probably impossible idk I just wanna play the game again.

@@rotarypower956 yeah, just finding a game is super spotty. Some days I’ll get on and get a game within like 5 minutes, other days I won’t be able to find one at all

im glad i got a chance to grind this game with friends in like 8th or 9th grade, it was unique and so much fun playing because it didnt take itself incredibly serious, you can hop on and mess around while still having a blast

I remember years ago when it was huge my older brother asked me to play and I declined cause it looks clunky and weird (he was playing tvt so I didn't get to see pilot movement) but one day earlier this year I looked at the case and went "Why not" and I played the campaign all day mainly just replaying the back in time bit and when that came up I already had high expectations because my brother kept gassing it up but my expectations were blown away when I played it the game itself is amazing and a bit after I beat the campaign I played multi-player and I'm glad I came when I did cause the servers were just fixing themselves up and it felt so good I love high movement in games and i love the titans they are so cool my favorite one has to he scorch or ronin
I wish none of this bad stuff happened to such an amazing underrated game I don’t think we’ll ever get a TF3 game sadly
if you do the campain playthrough i swear this will be one of the best campains you will ever see. it is so adventures and lawsome to see.
