It feels nice watching an APEX player play titanfall 2 and not know what to do, it brings me an odd satisfaction. Probably because i'm still angry about titanfall 3, but it is what it is

The story is just decent though. It’s basic, not very deep, short, and not very impressive at all. It’s just told pretty well, and has incredible gameplay and level design, plus an endearing robot
It’s one of the best fps campaigns ever, but not for the story lol

@@diamondrhino64gotta be honest, movement on console feels better/faster. At least on controller. That's because the engine handles analog and digital inputs differently, where you lose speed every time you change directions on keyboard but don't when you do so on controller.

Apex players don't understand the movement part of movement shooters because respawn doesn't encourage and actively nerfs any kind of fun movement mechanics that might pop up.

I love how in apex canonically Cooper has killed both Ash herself by crushing her with BT in his hands and killing Valkyries dad Viper by just being better with his robot 😂😊❤
The retconning has unfortunately fucked up the lore of Titanfall.
As faar as my understanding of the 'lore' goes ash can just be uploaded in anew body. In Titanfalls multiplayer you can chose a "group" as your narrator and one of it vincen dynamics, has ash as the "masscot" Its explained that her memory core was recovered and put in a new simulcron but not without some memory loss and now she searches for awnsers of who she was. However I never touched apex so I have no idea how faar her caracter differs from that.
@@kerkonig5102 she hasn't changed much from what you described except she's again in a new simulacrum body and she's learning answers through the apex games/lore especially with Horizion (they have history)
Got recommended this video randomly, always great to see more people try this game out! Still holding out for Titanfall 3, always will be.
Also, the blinking helmet at the end, that’s Morse code and translates roughly to “Jack?” Your character is Jack Cooper, that helmet was linked with BT, leading people to believe that somehow, somewhere, BT isn’t actually gone.

More specifically during the time travel mission BT specifically states that he has put a part of his AI functionality into your helmet so he can communicate through time with you. He is still alive in the helmet, like cortana with master chief.
for some reason, when I play through the game on ps4, the helmet never starts flashing. Is it a bug or just bc of ps4?
I always laugh when people say Apex legends is a movement shooter. Titan Fall 2 was peak movement, beyond any mainstream fps.

Awww you didn’t film the part where BT throws you, or get captured and he sends an encrypted message to you, or the final scene with the “trust me”. Greatest story EA has made. (Also if you care about the story/lore play with subtitles on when you play on master, there’s a lot of good stuff there)

7:01 I've played this game for a while now and never realized that if you kill viper with the L-Star his body will vaporize like with grunts.
The ending with the helmet blipping is Morse code for “JACK” presumably it’s BT hinting he’s still out there and setting up for Titanfall 3
No joke, as being a titanfall player with about 200 days of campaign and multiplayer experience, lets just say it feels good apex players are playing titanfall noe 😊

I wouldn't call myself a vet in titanfall by any means, but I do play it quite a bit. I know a lot of people are saying this hurts but I really enjoy watching the new players , especially apex players, experience the game for the first time since I can never do that myself.
I literally get so close to tears every time I play through that scene. I COULD HAVE SAVED HIM!!! BT!!!! But then him showing up with the legion load out is pretty badass.

I’ve played TF1 and 2 since they came out, and have 10 days on TF2 not including private matches. I would say that success in titanfall more relies on movement mechanics than aiming accuracy, but your accuracy is immaculate since you play apex on k&m 👏🏼👏🏼

That's the L-STAR. The reason it took so long to reload is because you sprayed it and let it overheat, the reload time is much quicker if you use it conservatively!
Also, I'm very happy that you noticed who Viper was, even if I don't play Apex! Most Apex players I see try out Titanfall never notice who it is LMAOO they also never really notice that Pathfinder is a MRVN

Titanfall 2 felt too short for how good it played, and the wall running mechanics just felt so nice and I've probably replayed the story so so many times
Despite many of us Titanfall players resenting Apex as "the prefered child" of EA and Respawn, it's always a good day when we can welcome a new pilot.
Fun fact: This game was made with the infamous Source Engine made by Valve.
You guys have set your expectations waaaaay too high, gameplay wasn't bad considering it's a first playthrough.

Hopefully if you do play through it again on the hardest difficulty you’ll actually learn what button it is for melee because it’s actually effective in titanfall
And now you see why us titanfall players are confused as of to why ash is still alive
You know cause ea/respawn need to milk people of more money instead of continuing the story cause adding in "familiar" stuff always pleases fans especially when you leave your game with broken servers right. Points aside yeah it makes no sense why ash is alive and lets not ask how they "found vipers body floating in space" when we killed him on a ship on the surface of the planet yup no plot holes here turn away don't pay attention to the strange man in the corner of the room.

I'm really happy you atleast tried your best playing this beautiful game. Now i hope you will have a different eye on how Apex is designed and done compared to Titanfall. And it was fun seeing you struggle on certain things lol.
However for the multiplayer i suggest you not to try it on official servers because it's a mess of hackers, try watching a tutorial on how to play on Northstar client which is a dedicated server made by fans and it runs really well.
Oh and also good luck on elite difficulty, i tried earning the platinum trophy in it and it was tough but really fun. Enjoy !
