  • Enjoy the relaxing benefits of Mantra Meditation with this simple exercise. Just repeat your mantra along with the guiding tone and tranquil ambience.
    You can sit comfortably in a chair, close your eyes and just listen. The calming directions take you through 20 minutes of mindful peace as the video fades to a neutral background that helps you stay focused.
    *THIS MEDITATION PRACTICE REQUIRES A NEUTRAL MANTRA (with no meaning at all to you). Some people like to think of it as a syllable or vibration. If you do not have an appropriate mantra, you can receive one with the MEDITATION MANTRA APP: www.vividprana...
    More information about mantras is available at: drive.google.c...
    // MEDITATION INSTUCTIONS
    1. Find a quiet place where you won't be interrupted. You don't need a Zen garden - hiding from your children in a closet works just fine.
    2. Most people prefer to sit in a chair, but you can also sit on the floor or lean against a wall - whatever is comfortable for you.
    3. Close your eyes and just listen. There is nothing to look at during the meditation. The video will fade to a neutral background until the meditation is over.
    4. Repeat the mantra silently in your head - with no sound or lip movement. Follow the pace of the background tone. It will gradually fade away and allow you to continue repeating your mantra at a pace that comes naturally to you.
    5. It's normal to become distracted at times, during the meditation. You can't just turn off your mind. Don't fight the thoughts. Just concentrate on your neutral mantra and let the distracting thoughts fade away. The goal is to spend as much time as possible in quiet relaxation.
    6. Try to reserve some time to practice meditation in the morning and evening. 20 minute sessions are ideal - but probably not realistic for everyday - so just try to fit in as much time as possible.
    7. Be realistic and patient. You won't notice any amazing results from your first session but the more often you practice the meditation, the easier it will be to slip into a relaxed state. Also, know that it's normal to have some rough sessions. Everyone has days when they are too stressed or distracted to peacefully meditate. Just keep going and you'll get back on track.

    much better to learn real Transcendental Meditation (TM). I am now 74 and I learned in my late twenties, and I doubt I would still be here to talk about it today without TM.

      So then why don’t you teach us or describe as good as possible? Not everyone has enough money to go to the TM Center. But TM isn’t anyway for everyone right ?

    • @CP-fe6jr
      @CP-fe6jr 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Wrong. TM is good for anyone, it does not demand or require belief in some imaginary god or otherwise, nor is it affected an any way by religion be you muslim, christian or any other false paradigm, or atheist like me. I does need you to learn from a real TM teacher, with all the personalised support that includes. I liken it to a tool, one that simply works naturally with no effort one your part, just correct use of the mantra, which is taught by the teacher and is never vocalise again.

      Nice calm lady. She whispered my mantra to me (2nd or 3rd session) . A surprisingly banal word. Not an "ammmmm" just an everyday word.

      Technically yes, but I'm a little skeptical about that one. Anything that has no meaning or association to you can be a mantra. It has to be a neutral sound. If you talk about it with other people however, you will likely associate it with those people or have thoughts of the context. You might choose something from the resource I have in the video description or use the app I have listed.

    The gods of the Hinus are daemons!
    A selection from the Tantra of Great Liberation, the Mantra Sastra and the Garland of Letters shows that the supposedly meaningless Bija (seed) mantras invoke TM Hindu gods. For example, “AING” is a name for Saraswati. We also discuss the meaning of “advanced techniques.” As further evidence that TM mantras are known and available throughout India, we add statements from the Kropinski case showing that TM is no different from Japa (mantra repetition) as taught by Swami Sivananda - and can be derived from his teachings. ""When is a meaningless sound not meaningless? If it is a tantric name of a Hindu God!!!!!

    good for relaxation but you wont truly transcend with music as distraction for the mind... thats when tm and other mantra meditations work.. nice video though and good to listen to after a hard day or annoying neighbours !!..thank you

      True, this is basically a simple guide to help learn about meditation. Hopefully, it helps people become a little more mindful and take an interest in learning more.

      Why will the music hold you back? Very interested in your comment since I use headphones to meditate. I’m a beginner and learning. Your comment pushes me to learn more. Thank you.

      @@michellecox5543 Ideally, you learn to practice in complete silence, and let go of all distractions, including sounds... however that's really challenging when you are beginning. This video version is a simplified approach to help people get started and learn.

      I actually started by just sitting. I knew it would be challenging, but I decided to just do it after years of an answered question I had asked out into the ether. "What is the answer". It always came back "meditation". So I let most of my life go by without engaging in it, until my 60th year on this planet. I guess I should go back to silence. I must say, I did notice a difference when I switched to guided meditations on YT. It's still nice, but not the same intensity. I noticed more changes when I sat quietly. Thanks you so much for you input. I sincerely appreciate it!

      Consider this a beginner version to help people learn more about meditation. There are many forms of the exercise. You should do whatever works best for you.

      Do you mean captions? If so, most of this video has no voice over. It's primarily ambient sound with tone cues.
