    Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

    Remember---2 minutes of no Mantra when the 20 minutes ends and then come out of it...very important step. Dont just stop when the music here stops---stay relaxed, just no Mantra going on in your head for 2 minutes, then open the eyes slowly. Peace

    This was profound... I listened 3or 4x in a row... my mantra I settled on was "let it go" as I'm trying to release deep trauma I've been carrying for over 40y. Tears just began flowing and I felt that deep dive into the calmness beneath all the chaos and clutter. Thank you for this and to Bob Roth and his video explaining the practice in more detail.

    I am light. No coincidence that both meanings have the same values. Don't let the bastard's grind us down. Just keep rising to the surface and breathe in this dream we call life.

    Oh my god, I'm in floods of tears. Thank you so much for this. Tess told me all about you and sent me this link to your song. I'm a fellow peregrino and poscaster and singer songwriter although I've not podcasted in a while. Be great to get in touch and talk Camino etc. thanks for touching my soul with your song, it resonates so much with me. Buen camino

    I felt like I cried halfway through a little bit. I really feel like I kept mostly focused on a mantra, I tried out saying a few to feel how they sounded, and I dont know, I felt like after ten or fifteen minutes I just cried a little, I didn't really think that would just suddenly happen but it did... Good music, I mean, I guess it clearly had an effect. Well.. that was something. I'll be back tomorrow. Goodnight everyone, I hope you all become / stay happy and get what you want or need.

    While doing TM with this music I felt like someone or something was touching my chest, as if it was someone very close and loving. It was very interesting

    Can my mantra be the focus of my constant beating heart? Focusing on trying to slow it down?

    • @meditationmusic20minutes2
      @meditationmusic20minutes2  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Slowing is the goal. Focus on the mantra until it becomes a sound and then disappears. It will happen with no effort over time.

    Can anyone reply with the mantras they like to use? It seems like everyone wants you to pay for a class to figure out a mantra I'd like to see other people's and find my own...

      Think of mantra as something to get you back on track absorbing the feeling of just being. Your mantra could be anything. Your breath for example.

    • @psychotronic_x
      @psychotronic_x ปีที่แล้ว

      Interestingly enough. I had a thought about peoples perception of one another's mantras pass by during my meditation before reading and responding to your comments.

    • @curlyoneal5257
      @curlyoneal5257 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I use my own. It does the same thing for me just pick a word any word or sounds that makes no sense. The purpose of the mantra is to keep your mind from wandering all over the place . You can change it using different ones until you find the one for you. I have a neighbor who likes to stay up all night with their sound system so the music helps me since trying without it can be hard. Sometimes you can just go with the music. I refuse to pay for something that can help people in so many ways. God will honor the effort I always ask for guidance before I start.

    This is so stupid. You don't need music - if your practice the official TM Technique you'll be effortlessly meditating without distracting music. The video title should be "Create a Mood While You Sit There!"

      You must live somewhere really quit also you probably took the course. I don't know if it's working for you or not. You're up here calling things stupid and use the tm technique some people can't afford it.
