- Recently we've seen players invited to the Cataclysm Classic closed Beta for World of Warcraft Classic. As we begin to draw closer towards the release of Cataclysm classic, it's ideal to take a look at some of the changes that Cataclysm will bring to Classic World of Warcraft once again. Cataclysm Classic will include big changes to guilds, classes, and raiding. So, what can you expect to find in Cataclysm Classic? Let's find out.

I've been looking forward to it for a long time.
My first expansion. Told my wife as a 31 year old man reliving my 18 year old days on Cata. I can’t wait.
Uldum to this day is my favorite zone for questing. I’ve only ever done it once before and stayed away to not tarnish my memories of it so I’ll give another shot this time around and see if it holds up
Just a reminder that Gift of the Naaru will now change to 20% of your hp at all ranks instead of being based on attack power, so it's now infinitely better for tanks that stack Stamina. Imagine Draenai prot warriors with their hit chance AND 20% self healing. The levelling experience is going to feel a lot better, and Gift of the Naaru is a 3 minute CD you can add to your roster that will really help your healers on those tougher raid bosses.
This is going to be my favourite class and new main come cata, so I've already gotten into levelling it from scratch now on a new server that hopefully won't die.

I secretly hope they'll thin out the first raid tier a bit. I'm afraid 3 raids each with multiple bosses might become cumbersome, especially with kill times generally being higher and Heroic difficulty generally being more difficult in Cataclysm.
I remember this happening back in the day with my guild (were a smaller guild) - we typically chose either BoT or BWD each week alongside Throne of Four Winds, made things still fun with enough loot for our team as well as a bit of variance! Raid lockouts also helped for progression if we weren't doing one raid that week.
Just ignoring all the negative nancies since I’ve never played Cata. Already started grinding for transmog gear. Feeling excited for the expansion.
Cataclysm was the reason I left Wow, gonna give it a chance but I have low expectation.

My classic cata wish is it remains as hard as it was for dungeons even raids and arena players will be forced to raid again to be top arena players.
this will lead everyone to be on the same playing field for bgs
Hope so - haven’t seen any changes to difficulty so far. Would be open to nerfs later but hope we enter regular difficulty for start
I never understood the hate Cata got. It is in my top three favorite expansions. I ignored lfr, and unfortunately never had a guild good enough to down DW. I enjoyed harder heroics, and didn't mind the water zone. The world breaking was awesome. I really didn't understand people's gripes about that. Didn't pvp in cata except casually. And leveling fast was fun for me. I'm hyped for Cata.
My issues with Cata looking back were more social (i.e. friends quitting made it a bad time). I did like world re-vamp on release and lots of other things - think this time around less pressure, so hopefully will be a better experience!
what would you guys say are some of the most FUN specs in cata?
For me - Vashj’ir & Uldum levelling, dungeons, raids, & world flying!

@@notafortnitegamer my bad sorry I misread! From memory Death Knights specs got really refined in Cata; and I enjoyed it (besides blood dk dps being destroyed). Outside of that Ret Pala became insanely fun - where I started to main Pala. Good changes to Hunter overall and Warlock was good from memory. Hopefully others can help out more!

I am really hyped for cata. I simply don't understand the Hate it gets.
I dislike how WoW has changed / evolved as it moved into Retail - but those changes feel to me like they took place from MoP onward primarily.

Unpopular opinion: Transmogrification sucks
I think it certainly takes away from those moments when you see someone in the latest & best tier set/certain pieces of gear and stare in awe; but I'd probably argue it's needed in Retail currently though so certain items don't get lost to time & still can be shown off.
So funny watching streamers play, the game is looking just as hard as when it came out, but people don't want to play it. Blizz is going to let cata rot just as quickly as it gets released. I wouldn't be surprised if they silently release it.
who cares bout those guys. they just make drama and sue countless of bots on social media to manipulate algorithms and make ti harder for smaller wow content creators to get any views
bots and 60% character boosts. because blizzard is a great company
