As always, it is lovely. I saw the thumbnail and thought you would be using the method where you cut a strip, tapping it in as you go. But this is even more impressive, with some light wood block printing sprinkled in there lol. Just doing the outline like that, so delicate 👏. What kind of care instructions do you give people that buy your pendants? I was thinking wood oil, but I was not sure if that would be a problem with the silver

Thank you! I’m glad you picked up on the detail here. The strip method is solid, but I wanted a different flow for this one, more of an organic fusion of silver and wood.
For care, you're spot on with wood oil, something light like tung or mineral oil works wonders to maintain the wood’s depth and luster.
Just be mindful of the silver, too much oil can dull its finish over time. A soft cloth or gentle polish every so often will keep it looking bright without interfering with the wood. Appreciate your thoughtful question and attention to detail :)

@@goofyandalittlewild I think you achieved your goal, it feels very organic. The shots of annealing the silver while the paper burned off were very nice, almost looked like it was blooming. Thanks for answering my questions, its very nice to be able to talk to someone with such a wealth of knowledge about a craft. A craft that combines many skills too, my favorite kind of craft.
