So I'm just getting a chance to check out this video Larry did on my bike. I had a weekend bike trip planned for my birthday weekend, which was Father's day weekend. Out of the blue, he pops in and says "Hey, I was supposed to do a video today on my car, but I can't today, can I do your bike?" Hell yeah you can! I had some self inflicted damage that I wanted to temporarily cover up until the off season and discussed options with him. Next thing I know, he comes back and says "Dennis is coming next week, from DR Dent Solutions, he'll be here Thursday". So as I write this, it's Thursday evening, a week after Larry did my detail. Dennis came today and fixed up three damaged spots. The bike is showroom beautiful now. Dennis is to paint and dent, what Larry is to detailing, a real magician. As he's nearing completion this afternoon, I walk over to ask about how much cash I'll need to square up and he says "Oh, you'll need to take that up with Larry". Larry's been away all week, but he'll be in tomorrow, and we're going to have a conversation about this when he gets in. I help him often, but it's never big stuff, and I don't keep score. I figure someday I'll scratch a customers car and that's when he can return the favor. He went WAY beyond what he should have and I have to say a big "THANK YOU, LARRY"
Having reread this, I realized I left out just how killer a job Larry did. I mean it's obvious, you can see for yourself in this video, but I didn't want to come across like I took his work for granted. Last night, when I wrote the original reply, I was really in shock that Larry had arranged for Dennis to do his thing, at his(Larry's) expense. That was never the plan and I just can't get comfortable with that. Dennis spent nearly as much time as Larry did. They are both true artisans and I'm beyond appreciative of what they pulled off for me.
There is nothing better than having a good friend like Steve to help you out of a jam working on cars. Glad to see you taking care of his pride and joy.
Steve has always seemed like the Larry version of a mechanic. Just a good dude who loves his craft. Great stuff as always Larry, and yes ... Steve is the man!
That’s awesome! I lost my “Steve”, this year who was a great neighbor and dear friend for many years. Dennis was always willing to help and was extremely handy. I learned a ton from him and will miss him and his friendship dearly! RIP Dennis!
it is from 2009?? it looks amazing even after all those years. she was so lucky to have been detailed by the best one around, and to be owned by such a legendary dude (steve is capable of wonders). awesome job as always
I live through these videos, having no car, motorcycle or even a garage to work in. It'd be heaven if I did have a garage such as your studio but unfortunately not. That's why these videos give me a break from reality. It lifts my depression and calms down my pretty savage ADHD. Thank you. May more dirty cars, preferably older barn finds, come your way! It'd be a dream to be your camera man. I'm jealous of him as well :D
Awesome job detailing Steve's Victory motorcycle. You made two excellent points at the end of the video that can't be stressed enough: 1. you have to make sure the seat is not slippery because you don't want to slide off the motorcycle; and 2. NEVER put any kind of tire dressing on the sidewall or any other part of a motorcycle tire because slick tires will result in losing traction and motorcycles often go down when they lose traction. One more point that you didn't make on the video, but is very important is that Steve's bike has floorboards on it. You never want to put any substance on motorcycle floorboards or foot pegs that will leave them slippery. Once again, great job on the detail.
Love to see more of this content as I work for a German motorcycle company and do motorcycles all day everyday. Nice to see different ideas from other people. Regards from 🇬🇧
I watch every single video. I absolutely love the quality and sort of story telling/narration of products used and steps in detailing. It’s been years since a video has been made like the video from start to finish in real time in detail about paint correction with Brown. I would LOVE to see a video just like that, start to finish in real time on any restoration for both paint correction and interiors and coatings now in the Ammo Studio that wasn’t in existence at the time that video was made.
I also wash my motorcycles like a maniac, and compressed air is an absolute must, especially for older bikes. Had a '92 Intruder and it would barely start after a wash. But when I started using compressed air to blow away the water from the contact stub and handlebar controls, it would start normally. Plus you don't get wet from water that flies out of nuts as you start moving.
Great job Larry. Every time I see a motorcycle detailed I think of Mike Phillips saying he detailed one motorcycle and that was one too many. Less real estate than a car but more work for sure.
This could not come at a more appropriate time I am getting ready to detail my motorcycle and was wondering what a better way to do it might be I love your videos I have been watching them for a very long time and I buy your products for my truck and my car thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and your skills
The paint quality is normal Larry, especially the metallics. I had a 2012 Victory Cross Roads with the same color paint, just none of the two toning with black. After detailing it using the methods I learned from you the red really popped! 😎 It was ten years old when I sold it with over 30,000 miles, and up until then, people would often as if it was new.
Nice job on the bike and thanks to Steve for his help over the years! Larry, it was nice chatting with you the other day while we sat in traffic on 84 :) My big blue Tacoma was excited - it thought it was gonna get some quality time with Larry!
Best way to remove bugs from windscreens is to put a towel on the screen and soak it. Let it sit for a while and just loosen up the remains, then wipe away.
You two are perfect neighbors. Nice turnaround! Absolutely Gorgeous! Still on my bucket list to do a transcontinental ride on a motorcycle. Did one on a bicycle in ‘07
Victory… excellent brand taken from us too soon. Very happy to see the bike being taken care of so well, Victory owners love these machines like no other, and this is coming from a BMW/Ducati mechanic (those guys are nuts but nothing like Victory 😂). Bravo Steve, cheers from Idaho.
In reference to grabbing new towels after some amount of passes (Approx time: 5:30 - 5:45) I'm sure there are situations and other uses for the used towels, but what happens to the towels that cannot be saved? Are these be recycled or are they simply thrown out? I'm sure your shop and others go through TONS of towels buckets, fam pads etc. Best,
You're use of Frothy brings up a question I have always thought about. It's use requires alot of towels especially on a car. I think a short video on how you clean and maintain your microfiber towels would be helpful.
Great video! Have a motorcycle detail coming up in a few weeks. Also look into Eddie Colon’s Keep it real podcast! You should be a guest on there. Those guys are great content creators and just recently had Pan on it.
I’ve only recently started watching your channel and oddly enough, have started washing my own cars. It seemed they look better than the hand wash place I use. I have a question about getting swirls out of my Bronco’s removable windows. Can I take the same approach as the wind deflectors on the bike?
Do you have a video, or hyperlink, on how to take care of matte paint? I have a motorcycle with matte paint that I'd love to wash but, given the matte, I've been scared to wash.
This is timely. I need to detail my motorcycle that’s been sitting in the garage for ten years. Well past time to sell it as I won’t be riding it ever again.
Can Frothe be used as a touchless wash? For example, if I take my bike to a gas station with a self-wash system, can I spray Frothe on the motorcycle, let it sit for a few minutes, and then rinse it off? Will it remove the oil and other contaminants from the motorcycle?
I’m a collision shop painter. Always fighting swirls with the products we have to use. What would you recommend from your store I could use as polish after buffing 2-3000 grit scratches ? I’ll make an order today.

Don’t worry I’ll be walking over for tools next week 😂

May we all be fortunate to have a “Steve” in our lives.
Life is so much more fulfilling when you have awesome neighbors.

Better than new and Steve deserves it for being a great neighbor. You always rock it, bro. NIcely done, as usual.
I appreciate that!
Everyone needs a Steve in their life

Another beautiful episode, personal, refreshing, well edited. Thx!

Finally a motorcycle detail 👍🏼

The bright work looks incredible. You weren't kidding about 'showroom condition'! Dang (and yes the paint looks amazing after too) - great job Larry!

Lawrence, kudos to your neighbours and y'a self!
These videos are so well done. Thanks again Larry!
Thanks for the support!
I can’t wait to watch this video! I have a 13 model vision with 210k miles. It’s desperately needs a detail.

Beauty of a bike. Nice gesture Larry. 👏

Larry what is your opinion on doing a touchless wash on a weekly basis with a high ph pre wash and power washer and drying with leaf blower?
The sidewall doesn't touch the ground at all so it should be fine with tire shine?
I wouldn't recommend it, as the wheel spins it tends to spread onto the thread part, and that's very dangerous.
Amsoil makes the oldest and best 100%synthetic oil. V-twin motorcycle synthetic for bikes.

What a great looking machine. Anything that is not junk built these days needs to be protected. You bet the owner wants to keep it going...
Nailed it!!😊
Looks amazing
