This is the album that made me shift from being a Barry fan into a Robin fan permanently. I love this album. Great lyrics and Robin's voice make this album a master piece to me. I had this on repeat for months.
That is correct Francis Ray, and this is another BRILLIANT example of Gibb Twins Harmony plus the EXCELLENT music arragements of Maurice Ernest Gibb C.B.E.!!!
“I'm just a victim of emotion A storm within an ocean of heartache and wonderland” The Brothers Gibb really knew how to paint a picture with their words. ❤️
I think both Robin and Maurice wrote the songs for this album and Maurice also played bass & rhythm guitar along with synth. As for the song, loved the melody and Robin's high voice is simply beautiful. Loved remembering this man and his music and count myself incredibly lucky to have lived through the reign of the Bee Gees. Thank you Chad x Edited to say the harmonies are so smooth. Beautiful x
What can I say? The world is a more beautiful place because Robin Gibb was here. Thanks Chad for highlighting such a talented man, love this album. I had to buy this from overseas, Germany to be exact, you could not find it in the US❤❤
Maurice was always there to back his brothers....mostly went under the radar....never pushed for the limelight.....that was Maurice for you......so much under appreciated talent.....
Love this Chad. Never heard before. Robin’s voice makes you feel so good. I’ve been deathly I’ll since last night. Just woke up and heard this. Love. Thank you Chad!

You know Chad...I'm 63 years of age(don't want to say old , haha) and I'm so glad I found you.....something to look forward to in the weekends now....thanks for making the weekends pleasurable for us....
I have always loved this song and doesn’t Robin look so good on this album cover. I love the way the Bee Gee’s while talking to women or about women. They call her “Love.” In this song he says Hold me Love. Oh, I just love hearing it. Over the years my husband calls me Love or his only love. My heart melts. This song is one of my favorite by Robin Gibb. He will always be my favorite singer and the Bee Gee’s will always be my favorite group. Chad, I hope you and all of your listeners have a blessed week. I know I am. My first grand daughter is due this week. I’m on top of the world.
And being late to this party I'm surely not going to win any prizes but it definitely was your reaction to Robin's "Juliet" a little over a year ago that started us being a "needy" bunch and Susie Q and I just ran with it! Several reactions later we were still "chirping" and calling ourselves "needy" for your reactions and that lasted for quite some time! 😆
Thank you sweetie,. You are always there to make our weekends. 👍💕. This is such a sweet sounding song. We will always love you Robin & mo 💞💞. Well Chad,. I was so blessed when I found you & your channel. The best music ever,. You give us what we ask for. 👍👍. Luv you. 💐💓💓💐
La voz de Robin Gibb, era única y especial. Toda su música, incluido en solitario, éxito asegurado. Tenía muchos proyectos a nivel musical. Pero su enfermedad pudo con el. Robin, nunca te olvidaremos. Siempre con nosotros. El 20 de mayo, se cumplió 10 años de su fallecimiento. Esta canción que acabamos de escuchar, es todo un homenaje. Siempre Robin Gibb.
Love your videos. Thank you for bringing more appreciation to my favorite group ever! You should definitely check out robin’s demo “Human being” from the same album.
Thanks so much for reacting to my request! Love this song! Lyrics you mentioned stand out to me as well sweets... Finding that special someone that gives you all the feels and makes it feel like the first time is UH-MAZING!! Thanks again Chad!! 🤗❤❤
Chad, what a wonderful weekend. I love all his solo endeavors but this album, by far, is my all-time favorite! Just look at the picture I chose of him. 😆 There is not a bad song on this album and I do hope you get to react to the rest of them eventually.
J2, love "50SCD", too, but I love every solo endeavor of his starting with "Robin's Reign" and culminating with "50SCD". And just so in love with his wonderful Christmas album as well. ❤
@@kthor - Just to name a few "solo" LP's. Something like Barry's "solo" LP "In the now" all co-written by Barry, Ashley and Stephen. chad im looking at all your robin gibb reaction this album has a beautiful song called KATHY'S GONE check it out, i think personally its the best track in this album
A nice song but I think there are songs that suit Robin's voice much better. The instrumental arrangements sometimes "drown" his voice. But thank you for this, Chad
Your so right G, on his 80s albums the instrumentation was so high and as you said drown his voice at times. Some people say that his voice is very high particularly on this album, but his voice is very good as always, just with different pitch, it's all about the instrumentals.
@@juanita6479 I think that it was quite common (the voice being drowned) in synthpop songs of that era, too. I always felt that the voice mixing was aimed to be "thinner", and with additions such as chorus and lots of reverb, this is what we get. I kinda like it, to be honest, despite the jarring contrast with the 70's approach.
@@karenehrich994 - I requested Juliet so I watched it a dozen times. I said I wasn't a "needy little bird" but an old buzzard or something to that effect. 🤣

Fairly frustrating the brothers had so many tunes that were unreleased -why?! If someone placed them all on CD set even though they are going extinct I am sure they still would sell to millions of fans at present. Just a shame yet will have them to listen to on your channel and TH-cam platform will have to suffice.
