San Antonio Texas | Driving US-281 to Downtown San Antonio

Today we’re driving US-281 from Bulverde, Texas on the north side of San Antonio into downtown San Antonio. It’s about a twenty minute drive from Bulverde to downtown San Antonio on US-281 and a brief stretch of Interstate 37. Along the way, we’ll pass the San Antonio International Airport; Alamo Quarry Market, a self proclaimed lifestyle market for shopping, entertainment, and dining; University of The Incarnate Word; Trinity University; Breckenridge Park and the San Antonio Zoo; and other iconic San Antonio attractions before reaching our ultimate destination of downtown San Antonio and the San Antonio Riverwalk. In downtown we’ll pass The Riverwalk Marriott, The Grand Hyatt Riverwalk, and The Tower of the Americas before parking in our favorite parking garage for visiting the River Center Mall and The San Antonio Riverwalk.
