Good 💩 my guy. I'm thinking of doing some upgrades on minds I got a complete bike from my neighbor for $60 bucks. He couldn't get it started I got a new carburetor, air filter ,new spark plug, freash oil change, and it started on the second pull. I'm sure I didn't need to do all that I done but it's better to go all the way to know you covered it all but rebuild the engine. Love the bike I'm a short guy so it's not that bad fir me to ride. 5'2½ looking ti get another one the warriors for me and my wife. She said she don't want it but she will ride with me once it comes to the house. Once again nice job look forward to see you do more things.
Excellent build. How did you check the alignment of the sprockets before putting the chain on? That’s a question I’ve got for mine. Did you just eyeball it?
I eyeballed it. Specifically, I put the chain on, then moved the engine around while looking at it from the rear. I put the frame on a block, and rolled the engine and wheel. I watched the gap inside the chain. I’m talking about the gap between the inside of the chain ”walls” and the sides of the sprocket. If you take your time, you can do this. You symmetry. You can also buy a tool that clamps to the sprocket and points down the chain line.
I just brought 212 im stuck with the chain 35 wont fit and i drill holes every where lol but i still haven't got it together i haven't cut the drain bolt because i seen videos where they just install with no cutting bolt
What do you mean, 35 won’t fit? Do you not have a tor use converter that fits 35 chain? Sometimes you have to cut the drain plug. Sometimes you don’t. Each frame is slightly different.
@Shrop Shire I didn't cut the drain bolt when I screwed the motor on the frame I try to add the chain back it didn't fit it was a couple of inches short maybe because i added a filter onto the engine
Hey question my old motor not sure what it was I think it was 80cc ik it was a 4 stroke But it had a 11 tooth clutch idk what size clutch it is but it's smaller then the predator engine So I ordered a 10 tooth clutch that's 3/4 bore but wondering would I have to shorten the chain ? Or do anything like that As my original clutch was 11 and this one is 10 Thanks
The location of the output shaft on the bigger engine will probably matter more than the number of teeth on the sprocket. You have adjustment in the chain tensioner and you can move the engine in the mounting slots. You may be ok. Best way to be sure is to give it a shot! Worst case scenario, you buy a chain.
Out of like 10 other swap vids we watched, yours had the best info for showing us some tricks that made our 212 swap easy!
I’m really glad to hear that it was helpful!
❓️
What size clutch did you use?
That box is the low oil sensor. You want to remove it and cut the wire for minibike applications.
Yep. It’s been gone for some time now.
Great Video guys, just pulled the same model out of the dump....excited to rebuild it for my grandkids...original motor still runs
Fantastic! Get it going. You’ll be the coolest granddad on he block!

Thank you! They are fun and easy to work on. I’m sure you and your wife will have a lot of fun on them.

@@shrop thank you. Excellent instruction. Hope to see an update video on riding this mini bike since building it!
Good ishh bro!👍🏾 gotta get me a clutch and I'm in da house😉💯
Best of luck! It’s a fairly easy job. Just put the clutch in backwards.
Original stock sprocket.

@@sayblaze You might need a new chain. Your motor output shaft is almost certainly in a different place than it was before.
just found one on the side of the road it starts an everything if i post a vid will u watch it good vid by the way
Sure, thing. Try to tag me or something. I’ll follow you for notifications.
@@shrop yea i have no idear how to do that lol i just figured out how to put music in my vids wasnt easy i got u tho cool vids
Is the sprocket the original that came with the bike? If not how did you find it size and info please.
Yes. Original Sprocket. Never even counted the teeth. 🙂

Are you using the original rear wheel sprocket and chain .?
