I’m currently building a drag bike and went 60 mph with a 55 tooth sprocket with a 18 inch tall tire and a torque converter. I just changed it for a 70 tooth sprocket for 330 foot drags. The motor is mild but built extremely well with lots of precision. Everything is measured and clearanced to spec. But I’m at a point where I’m running out of motor on the top end. It has stock length billet rod. Stock crank. Flat top piston. 265 hot cam. Stock valve train except valve springs. Custom ported head. Stock valve size and all. And 24mm nibbi carb. The motor is very mild. I’m assuming with the stock valve size and camshaft size I have extreme bottom end and I get out on everybody by a bike length or 2 but catch me. Your motor seems to be built well no break ups through the curve. So my question would be is what specs would you recommend. I have a good chunk of money saved so I’m willing to spend. It's like yours with the stock valves but it's running a 14cc chamber GX160 head with mild port work, a .012 thick head gasket with 1.2 ratio Rev rockers and 26 lb springs. I don't know if this head flows as well as a stock head even with the port work but with this mild build, the compression bump made this thing really snappy. It pulls pretty hard for what it is. I would like to try out one of Pauls's Karts GX 14 cc heads with his cam and carb. His TRINITY package. I recently bought a Coleman CT200U-EX for Shi--t s and Grins. Just finished putting a torque converter on it and that tripled it's speed from the original Jack shaft. I'll probably stop there. Old bones don't heal as fast and young ones. Besides I've been riding for over 60 years. Keep your knees in the breeze and the shiny side up and the greasy side down.
"It's scary on that little bike"?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 40 scary on that little bike, I can't believe you do 70🍸God bless you. Excellent work, you make some pretty awesome content.
Man love your videos I currently have a 208cc ironton that id like to get the billet flywheel n new rods. But I was wondering Would predator 212 performance parts work with my 208cc ironton... Or should I just save the hassle n buy a predator 212
I think the external parts would work like carb, header , things like that . The internal stuff could be Clone like the flywheel taper and rod journal sizes etc ... maybe🤔 I haven't worked with an Ironton yet.
Where can I find the chain breaker you used in the video? All the ones I used are very cheap and break in the first use so now I just use a punch out and a hammer. And I can tell you it's not very easy.
I'm new to your channel, and you are a maniac with this ultra-fast mini-bike ... and that's awesome! Liked and subscribed! BTW, what kind of frame is that? Did you build up your mini-bike as a frame only, then chose all your parts by yourself, or did it come with an included engine, wheels, etc.? It's nice looking frame and a great color. BTW, yeah, you could've gotten up to and maybe past 70 MPH. You still had some top end left when you hit 68 MPH -- that's awesome! Way to go!
Thanks for subscribing! I bought the frame only . It's an old Azusa frame . One of the earlier models with the straight bars. I put it together in stages. There are quite a few videos on the channel with the different combos.
All right so I ordered a 14 tooth clutch for my 208cc Troy-Bilt with electric start the bike originally has a 36 tooth rear sprocket so 14 to 36 teeth the link you sent with the calculator calculated 53 mph hopefully 14 to 36 is okay and will work I have a nine and a half horse carburetor and a straight pipe I'm going to put on it
That's insane bro 70mph on a mini bike. 🔥 I remember as kid having to fix links in chains. It was a pain in the arse lol All I had was a bench grinder to grind the brad down. I got good at it after a while lol That breaking tool is the trick. With out that good luck 😆🤣 Cool vid That thing rips 🔥👍✌️
What kind (size) head do u have on it? I want to change the head on my 212, but im not sure about pushrod size and rockers…..awesome build btw….i have a couple cammed, ungoverned ones on stock internals, but i want to build my next one with a different head, rockers, etc….
Thanks ! I think I added most of the parts I used in the description of the video . The champion rockers come with pushrods in the kit . I’m using a 14cc chamber, GX 160 head on this build .
Well so much for not being able to outrun the zombies or the po po, that's the ticket. What would be the average range on a tank of gas, approximately? Thanks for this excellent instruction. Appreciate it.
@@Black66 thanks!!👍 This particular model, or for someone like myself who has a little age and size on them what particular frame would you recommend for someone like myself? 70mph Holy Chit, that's bustin major ass. I feel quite certain I wouldn't be at that speed very often but it certainly would be very nice knowing that level of performance is there if you need it. Thanks.
@@toddellis3323 If your a bigger guy I would reccomend one of the bigger frames like a Coleman CT200U-EX or something like that because this bike is really small. Im a small guy and its small for me. The Bigger Coleman bikes are really comfortable to ride. If you do want a small frame bike, something like a Doodlebug is a little bigger than the Azuza frame like this bike.
@@Black66 Yes I'm a bit bigger and we'll leave it at that 😉. Thanks. Can I put the smaller tires on this frame with the 60 tooth back cog like you did on the other video?
For sake of stopping power I would go with a air heart disc brake, then get either a torque converter set up and use a belt of only 5/8" wide that way it will give you take off power plus a greater top end speed!!! I have been custom building mini bikes and karts for the last 47 years. I made go-karts and mini bikes go up into the stupid speed level. I used a 440 cc twin from a snowmobile with the compression so high that she preferred 113 octane and It was fun.
Thanks! I have quite a few other videos on the channel with torque converters and different setups. I like testing different combinations just for fun. This bike won't have the combo it has on it for very long. lol I can't leave well enough alone
So with the 14 tooth clutch and 36 tooth rear sprocket with my 208cc engine bike will barely take off hits about 40 mph sounds like it's at idle when it's doing 40 and won't really gain above that unless you go a mile so my gear ratio is not good at all with my brand new clutch I want my bike to do above 60 mph I have a 208cc engine what clutch and rear sprocket do I need with a 10-in tire and 150 lb guy also if I put the bike on a stand so the rear tire spins freely the bike will rev out and spin the tire seems like 50 mph but not when I'm on it going down the road after half throttle it doesn't react
A few questions if I may... 1. What's the price on this bike as is? 2. What's the average range on a 1 gallon of fuel 3. Do you build & sell, if not where would be a good place near Long Beach, CA Thank you in advance...
Great speeds. What's your opinion on a CVT powering a sprocket gears? It'd be two forms of mechanical leverage aiding in top speed I figured but I haven't looked deep enough into gearing. My goal is to buy a used ruckus clone, put a 200-250cc motor in it and be able to achieve 80-90 mph.
Definalty gain some quickness and top speed with one depending on the vehicle. I like the smaller minibikes with just a clutch. But I do like them on the bigger bikes. I have a few videos on this channel using them. I put one on the scare chair and it really woke it up. Check it out, here is the link th-cam.com/video/dINewgKuzkg/w-d-xo.html

Were did you get you rear sproket at and what stage is your predator what all have you done to it ? Mine just has the mikuni carb and no govern I need to put billet flywheel in it and I cannot find a exhaust pipe that will fit my bike its a Motovox any idea where I can get one at thanks
I picked up the sprocket from a seller on eBay www.ebay.com/itm/153969185235 This pipe should fit your Motovox as long as you don't have the engine lifted and is sitting on the stock mount www.gopowersports.com/header-pipe-3-stage-center-exit-196-212/
Nice town. If it's totally stock. Bypass the governor first. That will make it quite a bit faster just doing that. Get a pipe and a high-flow air filter. If you can add a bigger jet that will help too. There is a lot more you can add after that if you really want it to run.
Hey man I have a 212 predator with billet rod and piston, 22lb springs 265 cam and flywheel. 15×600-6 tires. I will be installing 26lbs springs but I want to get more speed. I'm currently hitting 55 with a 12t clutch and 56 rear. I was thinking 60 tooth and 15t clutch for more speed like in the 60s, what would you recommend?
Every tooth you go up on the clutch is equivalent to subtracting 6 off of the rear sprocket so that should get into the 60's with that combo . Depending on rider weight and other factors.
Thanks! It's a custom tank made from a car overflow tank. Check out the Azusa bike playlist for many more engine and part combos with this bike and others. th-cam.com/video/ONJbFaEecQM/w-d-xo.html
Hey im trying to get a small sized affordable motor bike that goes for around the same speed have any suggestions? Im clueless when it comes to this kind of stuff.
If you want something small that has the potential to go fast and is easy to modify to go fast , get something with a predator 212 or at least a 196cc on it like a TrailMaster MB Storm . Its a small framed bike with a 196cc. Or an older doodlebug or Coleman cc100x with a Predator 212 on it.

Old bones don't heal as fast and young ones. Besides I've been riding for over 60 years. Keep your knees in the breeze and the shiny side up and the greasy side down.
Thanks! good advice! I have an EX I put a converter on also. Video coming soon.
ive got an old junky cushman eagle frame im gonna put a v twin briggs on.

"It's scary on that little bike"?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 40 scary on that little bike, I can't believe you do 70🍸God bless you. Excellent work, you make some pretty awesome content.
Thanks for the kind words ! It is pretty darn sketchy at that speed . It’s good as long as a tire doesn’t pop . 😳
@@Black66 what name brand is the frame and forks? I want one
@@caseykelso1 It's an Azusa frame from the 1960"s but you can get a new one at gokartsusa.com/azusa3540minibikekit.aspx

nice build. I like the gas tank.
Thanks! I made the gas tank out of a car reservoir tank.
RevZilla shoulda used this bike instead of their build to re-enact the dumb and dumber famous scene 😂
It's on the ARC racing web site
Very impressive back in 07 I had a 5.5 champion stock that was putting 60mph.
That was a fast bike! Especially a 5.5
When I was 12 I had doodle bug with a Briggs 3.5 that did 93mph... In the back of a truck...
Im your real pops!
Thats fast for a mini bike. Be careful with those small tires. I've seen them tank slap out of nowhere and buck people off.
Where can I buy one of those chain tension kit that is on this bike
That thing is insane
70 MPH 🤯🤯 You should do a video of a steering stabilizer going that fast!!
U dont need one if u have no speed wobbles
With out that good luck 😆🤣
Cool vid That thing rips 🔥👍✌️
Thanks! Ya, the chain breaker makes it a lot easier. Check out this video of this bike doing 72+

It goes around 15 miles depending on how hard you are on it
@@Black66 thanks!!👍 This particular model, or for someone like myself who has a little age and size on them what particular frame would you recommend for someone like myself? Your unit here looks simple, really nice, at the same time has superior performance. Thank you for your help Todd in Charleston West Virginia.

Help my mini bike guy's
I swear officer, your gun must be miscalculated this thing will never go 875 mph,it wont even go 45 mph, hohohoooo its not christmas yet is it
Why do you not have a million subscribers
So with the 14 tooth clutch and 36 tooth rear sprocket with my 208cc engine bike will barely take off hits about 40 mph sounds like it's at idle when it's doing 40 and won't really gain above that unless you go a mile so my gear ratio is not good at all with my brand new clutch I want my bike to do above 60 mph I have a 208cc engine what clutch and rear sprocket do I need with a 10-in tire and 150 lb guy also if I put the bike on a stand so the rear tire spins freely the bike will rev out and spin the tire seems like 50 mph but not when I'm on it going down the road after half throttle it doesn't react
what's the best tooth clutch and sprocket or a mid-tear build.
Can I use 5 30 royal purple oil in my 224cc predator engine.
Awesome!
why is stopping people from installing one of those drum brakes on the front fork?
Nothing , I think you could do it !
I saw someone do it on a CC200U
A few questions if I may...
1. What's the price on this bike as is?
2. What's the average range on a 1 gallon of fuel
3. Do you build & sell, if not where would be a good place near Long Beach, CA
Thank you in advance...
You can probably ride this on the freeway lol
I just bought 5 inch mag rims how do I go about changing to a 36 tooth sprocket? It came with a 72 tooth sprocket ????@black66
I have the same sprocket problem on my cc100x if I turn too sharp.
Arizona is beautiful!?!
Also were did you get your chain breaker at I cannot find a good one there nice to have
I got it from ARC racing

Have you thought of trying a power adder like nitrous or turbo?? They do sell kits for it.
Ya, I actually have. Ill do a video sooner or later.
Real nice seriously my doodle bug db30 is hitting 46mph with a modified predator 212cc can't wait to reach those speeds

I picked up the sprocket from a seller on eBay www.ebay.com/itm/153969185235
This pipe should fit your Motovox as long as you don't have the engine lifted and is sitting on the stock mount

What app are you using for the speedometer
I use digiHUD on the phone along with the camera GPS for top speed and a Dragy performance meter for 0 to 30

It definitely is a little sketchy with the small tires
Would be great if I could buy one in Australia
I live in the same town! What would it take for you to make 196cc motor/ coleman mini bike way faster... sos
Nice town. If it's totally stock. Bypass the governor first. That will make it quite a bit faster just doing that. Get a pipe and a high-flow air filter. If you can add a bigger jet that will help too. There is a lot more you can add after that if you really want it to run.
What is that chain breakers brand name I'd like to buy one for my mini bike build
The breaker is on the ARC website. If they are out, there are some on eBay.
