This quest begun on January 9th 2022 and ended on April 14th 2022. It took 56 phases with 28 duplicates along the way. A whopping total of 468,352 encounters! I was quadruple hunting it between my two Diamond copies, Pearl, Platinum, two Heart Gold and two Soul Silver games. I'm very happy to finally have this finished. Please enjoy the video! :)

While waiting for the video to save, which took over an hour, I was just doing some Snorlax encounters in Heart Gold, and just happened to get the shiny at only 110 encounters. Like, what?! Another new video tomorrow! xD

Definitely! I think Unown is a really cool and original Pokémon and decided to take it upon myself to make this compilation happen. :)
For those wondering, he actually was quite lucky, on average it should take about 65 phases to get them all. I hope I get the same kind of luck I'm 10/28 atm

So cool bro but if I remember correctly, you had to get dive balls by going to the news dude in solaceon town by showing them a specific Pokémon correct? Similar to bdsp I presume? I also got every shiny unknown in bdsp back at early 2022 and haven’t played any Pokémon games in a while tbh, congrats on the grind.
That's correct, the guy in the building next to the Pokémon Center in Solaceon Town requests to see a certain Pokémon. I saved in front of him and reset until he gave me Dive Balls. Did this multiple times, as you only get three Dive Balls each time. Thanks for watching! 😎

Absolutely! Now that I'm able to focus more on easier shiny hunts again, instead of massive quests, you can expect to see at least a couple of uploads monthly from me now. I'm not even going to be hunting excessively anymore. Easy times! :)

Yes, when I had only just gotten the first letter and had 27 more to go, it was really intimidating, but that didn't stop me. Even if a hunt feels like it's never going to end, just stay strong and see it through to the end. :)

I don't own a 2DS. I shiny hunt with two DS Lite's and two DSi's. One of them is a DSi XL.

You'll need to obtain the 26 alphabet Unown to unlock the last two. Your target is available in both Sinnoh and HGSS. It will be an easy 50% target for you. This page should be helpful. Good luck!

They're not shiny locked. You can find any form of shiny Unown in any of the Gen 4 games. 😎
