Thanks for answering my dog poop question! The sunset at 21:00 reminds me of the live wallpapers I used to download to my work computer in the early 2000's to make my day less mind-numbingly boring.
I've been following you for over a year now, and I never wrote a single comment here (kinda rude of me) I guess I'm a serial procrastinator. But I've decided from now on, I'm gonna let people who inspire me know how a single word can change the negative view I have towards the place where I live, and instead of complaining (from windy and cold days in my case), to "bundle up" as you said today, tie my hair very strong, put the leash on my dogs, and go for a walk...and breath! I never liked the place where I live (and born and raised here) Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut, Patagonia Argentina, but I'm starting now to see the positive things here...and there are plenty! So thank you Cecilia for being an inspiration and reminding us to enjoy the little things in life!❤️🤗
That is a great start to a positive change! Your comment caught my eye because, ironically, I am paying thousands of US dollars to come see Patagonia this year.
I could definitely live Cecilia's way of life, I'm from a very hot country and have moved as far south as I can (Hobart Tasmania) next stop Antartica. I've always wanted to visit Patagonia for a very long time. I think the more remote we are these days the safer we feel.
It’s so refreshing to see you, Christoffer, and Grim enjoying the weather where you live. I live the Midwest of the US. Everyone complains so much, never satisfied with the weather on any given day. Too hot, too cold, it’s raining, it windy, etc. We need to learn from you three, take it a day at a time, and find the beauty around us every day.
I get it! I live in London, rainy, sunny, all over the place! What I DO like though is I have family in Sweden and to have a few months of snow is great! Unlike just rain in London lol
"I love to feel the elements". You're the only person I know so far who's used that expression - beside me. :) It makes perfect sense. It is exhilarating to feel the elements.
Honestly that's what I said when East Tennessee hit -20C one time and I walked out there barefoot and in shorts and a t-shirt for a few minutes. It feels great in such a weird way. Admittedly I don't appreciate 40C nearly as much. I might try embracing the wild heat this summer.
Realized today that I even take Grim for granted. He is so beautiful and such a loving companion. As he ages he won't be able to do all these things. Give him a hug from us!
You are just the sweetest and most optimistic woman I know of! Your videos always make me smile, and I find them a bit of calmness and comfort when I watch them each week. I watch regularly but, even my husband enjoys them once in awhile. Ive also learned so much about Svalbard, and am amazed at your guys' resilience in such harsh conditions; you make it look like so much fun, even in the bitter cold! Thank you for sharing this with us!
I'm sure Christoffer is Santa! I saw it when he took his new ride for a spin down the tundra. Missed all three of you last week. What a beautiful new video! ❤
Thank you for that amazing turquoise of the ice, for the pale rose and almost purple sky and for the most beautiful sunset i have seen in a while. So happy to see all of you again, much love!
I'm in California so your videos transport me to the North Pole almost like a big wake up call! Ha! It gets very comfy in warmer climates but also can make one more 'soft'. I do come from a Northern climate in the UK and so I feel more Viking than my current American counterparts. Love that you take time to show us all. Thank you.
Oneday, I'm gonna stay in a cabin for a week, surrounded by snow. I've never experienced real snow like this. I love watching your channel because its vastly different from where I live in Queensland Australia🇦🇺
I live in the northeast corner of Wyoming, USA and we are in the middle of a winter storm that has 30-35mph winds and is supposed to drop 12-16 inches of snow on us by Monday morning. The whole area is closed pretty much to road travel. Temperatures are 33°F with wind chill of 17°, not even as cold as you all are. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. I look forward to your videos every week!
Thanks again Cecilia, Sundays are my reset day with you, Grim, Christopher. Glad your staying warm, last Sunday was understanding too cold, stay warm. You put great time into this Sunday video! I do live off grid at 9,000' Colorado mountains, have home made kick sled, American Akita "Grim" type, heat wood, past two days snow and high winds here, no worries just enjoy. So enjoy your videos!
Your videos are so beautiful, Cecilia! Would you ever consider doing a video or a short about the wildlife on Svalbard? I'm so curious about the wildlife and plant life there, and how your community protects it.
Thank you so much for the gorgeous views and experiences you share with us. Winter (and Autumn) are my favorite time of year, so as we move towards our summer which will be hot and humid, I will be turning to your channel a LOT for that distant breath of winter air and snow! You show so many wonderful relaxing scenes of coffee and outdoor play and joy, that i don't think a lot of us realize the amount of dedicated hard work and skills you put into content creation to bring us these wonderful moments. You work HARD! I hope that the process is something you enjoy. This video though! Reindeer! Walruses! The sound of artic foxes! That wonderful kick conveyance! The -81° when snow mobiling! 😮 You and Christopher using rope to slice the snow pile! And of course...Grim! Please tell him just how much we all love him and his precious antics! Give him an extra hug for me! I have come to realize that life is made up of experiences that we all should seek to make the most of. Maybe most of us don't have a Svalbard, but each and every place has its own beauty to be lived in everyday and you inspire us to seek our own adventures! And by sharing the beauty of Svalbard you also bring us into that experience with you! Thank you so much for all you do, always!
Sunday coffee and Cecilia. 🥰 missed you last week. All feels right with the world now. That sunset was so beautiful. You have the wonderful ability to motivate me to get up and move and make sure I get MY steps in. Thank you for that. You’re wonderful. Hi Christoffer! 👋🏻 and Grim ❤
Best midnight sun season ever??? Can't wait.! I've never loved commercials so much...TY Grim! Stay warm, guys, good excuse to drink plenty of coffee. XoX
Watching this vlog in Poland in first April's weekend, in 26 degrees, sunny, summery weather (that will last the next two days). We also had 3 summer days up to 25 last week (in March), but they were a bit strange, because we had a dust storm from the Sahara, so there was no sun, only dirty, yellowy, orange'y mist. The sun was only visible for a moment, as if it was a moon. It was warm, very, very windy, but the wind was warm, so still it felt like a summer. We spend those days on activities outside. This year, summer is coming pretty fast. Usually such days happen in middle of July, rarely earlier, but on the end of the March and beginning of April is something new! I won't complain. I guess, the cold must stay somewhere, for other places to be warm...
Love your passion for your beautiful winter wonderland! You put Svalbard on the map for so many of us and you should be honored (Grim and Christopher too) and presented with the keys of the Island ❤🤩💕🥰

I never get tired of seeing you or this amazing simple life on Svalbard. You invite us into your day/s, and it feels warm, like a good catch up with a friend. I can't believe how quickly the seasons change. Gorgeous long views we get to have too, dreamy music. So so good. - K
I LOVE seeing more of Christoffer and his shopping...can we get a live of Christoffer and meals he is planning for you both. Thank you for sharing your Love for Life! Love from Australia Xo
I’ve been watching your videos a few months. I love remote places. While not as remote as your location, I enjoy living in our log home in a small Mongolian town. Thanks for sharing your breathtaking views with us!
Thank you, Cecilia and Christopher, and Grim for sharing your life and way of living in Svalbard. It is gorgeous there and it is fun watching you guys doing all those fun things and your cute interactions with Grim and each other. I love you guys! Stay safe and warm. Loretta from California
Wow, so many super cold days, that gets to be a little wearing. You and Christoffer make the most of it nevertheless, so strong to take the trek to the remote cabin and enduring the cold. It is so sublimely beautiful with the colors of this season. That sled thing from Sweden looks like fun! Have great week! kisses and hug for ever adorable Grim.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin and surroundings with us Cecilia … it’s really calming and helps me to unwind after work. It’s great to see You Grimm and Christoffer enjoying being outside on the new Kick. 🤍🤍
