If you want a rifle that will always work and kill anything you point it at in one hit, take the AK.
7.62x39 isn’t some magic caliber that kills everything in one shot in fact it’s really not any more effective than 5.56 at close range you’re 100% fucked if you get hit with a well placed shot from either caliber inside 200yd but is trumped by 5.56 when it comes to being able to hit targets at longer ranges
@@dariodicarlo8745 And yet the Taliban consistently engaged US troops in Afghanistan from beyond the effective range of the M4. 5.56 is a great caliber, but is simply doesn't work well past 300 yards. 7.62 isn't much better, but it is a heavier bullet and it is carrying slightly more kinetic energy.
There's a reason that the new .277 fury round has ballistic performance that more closely mimics the 7.62x39 at 300-500 yards.
@@catholicpatriotusa1507 My brother in Christ 5.56 has an effective range of 600yd and many Taliban got cooked even at 800+ yards. 5.56 is very accurate at range due to its speed it does not drop much especially compared to 7.62x39 you’re much more likely to hit a target with 5.56 just cause the Taliban engaged US soldiers at range does not mean they had effective fire they spent the entire time getting cooked until we left. Not to mention .277 fury is not likely to fully replace 5.56 for a while as of right now the very first XM7s have been issued to army rangers and the 101st for testing for a final assessment to be delivered in 2025 and even then it’s a 10 year contract being handed to SIG SAUER to replace the M4.
The headphone bounce was nice 🤣👍
