There is a way to "wormhole" yourself straight back to the Bubble - one-way. Buy a stock sidewinder from one of the stations and self-destruct in it. You are given the option to rebuy it or to get a starter ship - which is back in the Bubble! The game will then put you at the starter station, but with everything else intact (except the new sidey you sacrificed, and any cartographic data, so make sure to sell that first). It won't work if you have unpaid fines or personal bounties, that will put you in the nearest prison, so only do it when "clean".
Nice work cmdr, I’m on my first trip to Colonia now, going to check out all the sites and hopefully get my exobiology rank up and buy a fc when I get back
I got about the same on my 'conda after the SCO conversion. As you've been advised already, you'd get more utility using MASS MANAGER instead of DEEP CHARGE on the FSD experimental effect, especially for the long jumper types.
The effect around the black hole is called "gravitational lensing" where the gravity is so strong that it bends the path of the light from behind the black hole, making that cool effect. :)
I just wish you could send a ship out into deep space but still be able to "teleport" back to a ship in the bubble and do combat. I would leave a ship everywhere to explore.
There is functionality in spanch to put your exact build in / there is more accurate plotter. (Will have maybe 25% less jumps as it takes into account that you can't jump longer as your fuel weight diminishes). You do in less that 65 jumps with a really optimised build and route. (91 ly range conda)
As an ED noobie my question is - are any of your engineered items available to you onboard your other ships or do you need to engineer each one separately?
Each one, but you can swap them between ships. It's just that you can swap a single module between two ships (which gets annoying after a bit), or get a second module, so that each ship has their own.
Additional to the other answers here, you can only engineer the modules when they are fitted in the ship you are in, at a port (doesn't have to be the engineer's base, except for the 'experimental effects' which are extra to the basic level 2-5 upgrades). So you need a ship with the right sized slots to fit the module in to engineer it - and engineers' bases don't have shipyards for you to switch between ships conveniently, so you can find yourself shuttling back and forth in different ships from a nearby station getting different modules upgraded with experimental effects.

Ooh, I never thought to use the black hole's gravitational lens effect to magnify the Andromeda Galaxy! It looks great floating past, there!
Great stuff foxy!! A true magical Journey to colonia and back… what wonders you shared with us , and like you said the story will continue…😊
Glad you enjoyed it Crippsy

Have a wonderful trip!

One way you could do this is get another account, but you know, kinda unfeasible.
@@ericward4028 Not at all. I have 6 accounts now, and one is a dedicated explorer. All you need is a DBX, no engineering.
@Sighman I mean yea but they could just let you select which ship and where then I don't have to buy 6 accounts.
Elite always suprises, nice vid. BTW you fall into a blackhole not "sucked" just like a skydive, you fall back to Earth.
lol

Wonderful, thank you.
The Planet of Death is about 10 jumps from Colonia, give it a look next time
Thanks for the advice even tho it wasn't for me
Gonna fly there while I'm at colonia too

You can also purchase prebuilds as well. Check them out.
